The ceiling lamps burnt out in both my bedroom and my home office, both lamps use LED strips instead of light bulbs and they're glued onto the base of the lamps, so the strips can't be replaced without breaking them in the process. I ended up ordering regular ceiling lamps to replace them, but they won't arrive until tomorrow, so it looks like I'll have to use table lamps and battery-powered lanterns for lighting in both rooms for today.

I'm so sorry that happened to you! I never understood standing someone up unless there was an emergency situation or something like that. I just don't get the whole point of going through all this effort to chat and make date plans just to say "Nevermind!" and get someone's hopes up  I really hope your next date goes a lot better with whoever may be next!

I'm just slightly annoyed perplexed that the entire concept of romance seems to be a huge trigger for me  Why does it even trigger me, anyways, when I'm not even doing any dating? I'm just ready to be done with it  I've already worked through one big trigger and I would love to fully work through this current one.

Perhaps it triggers you because you sense how unhealthy it can become for those of us who are after it, you don't like what you see it doing to us. Romance, is in a sorry state right now, I gotta tell ya.

It doesn't trigger me, but then none of our experiences are exactly the same, what triggers one person is not true for another. I'm single, been that way since school. I have no plans on dating, but that does not mean I hope others be the same, for some people, romance can be very rewarding and healthy. It just depends on if it happens at the right time and with the right people. I've come to recognize love to be a beautiful thing, and it's really our one chance at happiness in this world. Not all friendships have to be about "being lovers", but it can bring happiness as long as there's clear respect for boundaries in that relationship.

Romance can be anything as it doesn’t require dates or having a soulmate. I always love to immerse myself in something I love. Example looking at the European architectures and listening to jazz music.

Things to keep me feeling happy instead of grieving. Sure it’s considers as a bonus if you end up finding someone who shares the same interests with you.. but it’s not always the requirement. Focusing on what you love feels much more free.

Hate to be another ping . What kind of trigger  ? Like, does seeing a romantic couple make you feel like you’re expected to do the same? Or is it still bringing you bad emotions from previous experience?

I tried to de escalate some tension between me and a coworker, but she proceeded to keep it up rather than just let it go despite my efforts. I just redirected my attention to someone else. Read the dam mood, dude!!

My friend's mother passed away, but he didn't tell us right away. He endured it alone. When I saw him again, he was already listless. Later, I heard his mother had been gone for two months. I was angry that he didn't tell me first and kept it to himself.

 

Today I met her again. She found another one, but she's just as unpleasant as before.

The latter! It's super scary to imagine myself in a relationship. I don't care if other people are in one, though, as long as it's healthy.

I understand you. I have my known triggers as well and I always try to turn away from them as soon as possible, or just try to think about something else quickly. That way they don’t plant themselves into my current well being. Some are more impactful than others though… Maybe have a go to remedy, like, immediately start thinking about (if you’re able to) something that really makes you ponder ….. something that’ll definitely keep your mind too occupied… like trying to think about a remedy right now . I need to do this too. Or just watch or read stuff that’s amusing  . I have my cat/animal playlist…

A book I wanted to replace new is now out of print, and I am scrambling to get to bookstore to purchase a used copy. My copy was destroyed due to water damage. It is not encouraging to know that book is out of print now.

 You have all of us in a meeting together to help you with this. You have people who flew overseas to Germany to be there in person and people like myself working third shift this week to help you. Instead of using your resources wisely you're using it to make excuses on why you can't do this and also complain about being behind. I will be fighting hard if I get tapped by my leader to help them with their work again. This meeting was a waste of my time. It was a waste of everyone else's time who have rearranged their schedules and lives to help you. They didn't do anything but argue. You only have us all to help you learn this process for three more days. Today they didn't even touch the system to learn it today that's how much of nowhere we got. Just argued and made up excuses.

I know what it is. They want me to get pulled to help them do their job. I pushed back when I was originally tapped a month ago because all of their processes are in German and everything they read from to get their information from is in German. I don't speak German and I can't if you'd like. They are likely hoping I get forced and this other guy gets pulled into it. Which he has the right idea, he's not been showing up to these meetings lol. I have three more days of getting up at midnight to watch this circus. This is busy season for one of the businesses I support. I have people who need me during the day that now have to wait for responses and my help because I'm on third trying to be a resource for people who don't want it. 

This is why I have my camera off during meetings. It has me sitting here like girl what are you doing.

I don't want to go too deep into it, it's not something I wish to bother anyone else about here, I am tired, and my computer had an issue earlier, forcing me to reinstall my OS, possible issues with the storage drive? I don't know. It's sorted now, I did get frustrated with it earlier but it is fixed. But I am waiting for my medication to take affect before going to sleep.
