gaming Anypony Played My Little Investigations?

So I just finished playing the first case of this free game download called My Little Investigations. It's basically a point and click style adventure game with a strong narrative where you play as Twilight Sparkle and exploring Ponyville to look for clues to solve crimes. Only one case has been released so far, but the second is in production and It's REALLY good. The graphics are well done, the gameplay is intriguing and challenging, plus It's fully voice acted with some pretty good impressions of the characters, the actors for Pinkie Pie and Scootaloo I found were the best. So has anyone else played this game yet? If not, I really recommend it, It's a truly fun experience, and well made enough that you could fool someone unaware into thinking it was an official game.

I haven't played it, but I've heard it's similar to the Phoenix Wright games - and I really enjoyed them, so if it is I might have to check it out

Yeah, It's DEFINITELY got a Pheonix Wright feel to it. There are interrogations, confrontations, It's all there.

'Twas an enjoyable experience for sure; and of course it pulls a lot of Phoenix Wright things as well.

I wish they didn't have the 'reveal who did the crime as the game starts' thing that P:W was guilty of, kiiinda ruins the experience.

I played it a long time ago with a friend. Some passages made us laugh a lot!  :lol:

To be honest, even if they didn't do that I could have seen who it was from a mile away. Gee, a certain kind of object's been stolen, I wonder who THAT could be? Sorry about the vagueness, just trying to keep this post spoiler free.

I've played the first case a long time ago.  I thought they abandoned the game?  Or did they start working on it again?

It's still in production. They posted a blog on their site just last month confirming it was still in development and asking for extra artists. So, yeah, It's still being made.

Turnabout Storm is a fanmade series of video where Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is brought to Equestria to defend Rainbow Dash from a crime she didn't commit. The videos are released on YouTube under the channel, Turnabout Storm: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL347AD9B9E509804A

 

Please note these were made as Seasons 2 and 3 of MLP:FiM were being broadcasted (part 1 released around "Luna Eclipsed"; Final part released before Season 4 of MLP:FiM). The story was written before Season 2. On the Ace Attorney side of things, this takes place between the 2nd and 3rd games, ("Justice for All" and "Trials and Tribulations"). The whole thing takes about 9 hours to watch.

Yeah, it was pretty good. I wish they'd actually let us think for a while that Scootaloo might've really done it, though, instead of giving away the actual culprit from the start.

Well, like I said to the other guy, even without that intro, you can obviously tell who it was. There's no-one else who would want to steal a gem other than the diamond dogs.
