g1 Darkest songs of g1?

There are quite a few songs in g1, but few, I think, are quite as dark or eerie and ominous as "We're gonna make you sorry", from "Bright Lights". (Part 2)

I forgot about The Newborn Twin sing. Yeah, that's a messed up one, too. Makes Tirek of G4 look like an angel by comparison. g1 ponies don't play around, wishing infanticide and slavery for infants. Yeesh!

 

Here's to power isn't so bad, I think.. typical villain song

It's not about infanticide and slavery. It's just about older siblings who've had too much responsibility dumped on them and are wishing for bad things out of frustration and feeling spiteful and ignored by the adults. But they obviously did not want to see it happen.

 

 

Nothing Can Stop the Smooze is kinda dark too, if you take out the cheerful melody and all the lyrics entail.
