gaming Any Sonic Fans? How Do You Feel About How The Internet Treats The Series?

There was one, Sonic Blast, released in 1996. It used a pseudo 3D effect although to be brutally honest, it looked absolutely terrible and was a far cry from the four main Sonic Game Gear platformers: Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic Chaos, and Sonic Triple Trouble. Sonic and Knuckles were both playable--not Tails--and generally went through the same game. I played it a couple of times but I just couldn't get over the awkward graphics.

 

Sega using the other Sonic characters more often is another double-edged sword. There are those in the fandom who want to see them utilized more often, yet others only want Sonic to be playable since he is the main character.

 

Again, blame Sega for issuing their mandate and all because of the lawsuit fallout.

Ah, yes, I remember that game now, I think It's the worst Sonic game gear game by now after playing it on a collection...

Ah, yes, I remember that game now, I think It's the worst Sonic game gear game by now after playing it on a collection...

 

That and Sonic Labyrinth by a landslide. I love playing Sonic Chaos and Sonic Triple Trouble.

I have thanks to Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Gems Collection. It was a unique experience although one I'd rather not have to go through again if I can avoid it.

You had to have played the DX version of Sonic Adventure as they were only on that version. Was the Xbox 360 version not DX?

Yes the 360 version was DX, but for some reason they removed the Game Gear games from it.

Then you weren't given the complete version since the Game Gear games were unlocked by earning emblems. I blame Microsoft for this or Sega, whichever comes first.

 

Chao can be easy to raise if you're willing to grind like crazy for about a few hours.

Simply put, you give them strength and abilities, by giving them animals to play with.

Yup, but honestly, It's not so bad I guess. The Gems Collection and Mega Collection Plus both contain all the Game Gear games when put together.

The Gamecube only had Mega Collection, the original version that lacked the Game Gear games. Sonic Adventure DX was what brought them back from being forgotten although they weren't emulated very well.

Well, I don't imagine they would work well on a Dreamcast/Gamecube. Maybe that's why they were removed on Xbox/PS3

They worked but what I mean by emulating problems stemmed from the slight change in music tone, the screen crunch being so much more obvious, and the games being widened to fit on the big screen.

No, I know how you get animals, but I don't know which levels have which animals.

Ah, I see.

For SA2B, the best animals are dragon, unicorn, and phoenix.

The fastest and easiest way to get a dragon is in Wild Canyon, while the fastest way to get a unicorn is in Cosmic Wall.

Sonic is one of the first game series that I was a fan of. I can understand the distaste for the fandom and the franchise, but the series has had plenty of good points and I don't think that's something that can be blatantly ignored.

I'm honestly a pretty big fan of Sonic. TBTH I don't get why everybody hates him so much and people say things like: "Nnnngh Sonic has such a bad fanbase!" But honestly, if hating Sonic is the popular opinion, then why are you complaining about their fanbase? (P.S. Deviantart pictures =/= fanbase)
