I actually got into the show because of my sister. I watched the entire show on my own as well, but I've been picking episodes to watch with her for a few months now.

Without my 5 year old daughter getting a pony plush gift for her 4th bday last year, I never would have seen an episode or met any of you people.

I watch all new episodes with my wife and daughter and do not sneak ahead to view them. It's a family event.

My younger brother used to be in the room sometimes while I watched it and it did seem he enjoyed it (not as much as me, though), but he hasn't for a while. Actually, he doesn't watch TV much at all anymore. I think he watches shows online instead, but I don't know what he watches.

I'm the youngest member of my family, so there's no younger person to watch it with. However, my brother used to be a brony and he and I would watch it all the time and it was a lot of fun. It was the only brotherly bonding we could ever have. But now we agree on nothing.

That's how I started. My younger sister (who is about 10 years younger than me) really loves the show. Before I moved away from home, I would watch it with her when I was bored. It slowly grew on me to the point that I would now call myself a brony.

Being 16 right now, I AM the youngest in my family. That doesn't pardon me, of course. My dad hates it, my brother often pretends to hate it (his commentary makes it hard to enjoy), my grandparents would think something is wrong with me, and while my mom thinks it's okay, she doesn't enjoy watching it like I do.

So no. Aside from watching new episodes on my phone as they came out, I don't watch it at all. I probably won't for another year or so, because screw me and my family, I guess.

I got into it because my cousins and I would watch TV and movies with my little sister (I was the only male, so I ended up watching stuff like Barbie and Monster High movies all the time). Now it feels weird to watch the show with my sister, or just to know little girls watch the show and play with toys, I just enjoy it as I would enjoy any other show, so being reminded that it's "for little girls" is kind of strange. My cousins also became fans, but not as much as I did, and I'm not even sure if they're into it anymore. The last time we watched the show together was when we watched half of season 5 and The Friendship Games like a year ago (and I had already watched it, they didn't even know season 5 was out). Tbh I prefer watching it alone, I'd like to watch it with someone who was into the show as much as I am, and in the english dub, it's not the same watching it in the latinamerican one.
