I dunno, the fan voices have pretty much been perfectly matching to me, but I suppose being surprised wouldn't be bad either, unless they somehow, under some magical power, got James Earl Jones to do her voice. Ganondorf8 11,370 October 29, 2016 Share October 29, 2016 DJ Pon-3 doesn't really need to talk since she expresses herself through both music and expressions, although we have seen her human counterpart speak albeit off in the distance so we couldn't hear her. If she was to be given a voice, the fandom would only accept Nowacking as the ideal representative. Hasbro would most likely want to have someone from Ocean Studios, the group that currently provide the voices, handle the job of voicing for DJ Pon-3. I think her silence actually adds to her character in a way... like she lets her music do the talking for her. I feel like she's a lucky but talentless hack that can only do one voice for any character ever, her own normal voice, and she only got popular because at the time when abridged serieses were big, she was the only woman willing to voice female characters. As for Vinyl Scratch: Imagine if she's mute, but she gets a magic amulet that lets her speak, but she ends up sounding like Shrek. IMAGINE IF SHE GOT THE DAZZLING'S AMULETS, BUT SOUNDED LIKE SHREK! I would rather not imagine that at all actually. Let Shrek sound like Shrek. Let Vinyl just play her music in style. I think if she did speak they would try too hard to put a hipster vibe to her, or try to have her come off as some sort of stereotypical DJ punk/rap slang speak.
