Any simmers here? :) I've been playing since The Sims 1 days. I still play 2, 3 and 4. I did install The Sims 1 for pure nostalgia a couple of months ago but got bored of it quick, it hasn't dated well. I mostly play The Sims 4 now. I know The Sims 4 has it's faults but it has grown on me. Whenever I play the older games I miss multi-tasking so much.

I have to wait for the 3rd for City Living as I'm in Britain :( I want it now.

I'm weird. I'll have phases where I play it a LOT and then I won't play it at all for a month or two :P I'm hyping for the City expansion so I'm playing again.

It annoys me how we can't build our own apartments, though -___- There are times where I think EA are just trying to piss fans off. There needs to be another life simulation game to compete with EA. Right now it's literally the only game of its kind.

Oh my goodness, I loved The Sims! I used to play The Sims 3 with the Pets expansion pack all the time, and enjoyed using the codes to customize the wild horses and unicorns. :P Hours and hours of entertainment! :3

I haven't tried The Sims 4 and don't know if I will, though it seems to have some pretty cool features. :)

I mostly play sims 3, maybe a bit of sims 4, I think the open world of sims 3 spoiled me rotten.  I also have these phases where I play a ton of sims and then I'll start it up one day and feel all burned out from it.  I think I'm like that with most video games though...  I created my Ryder family from Mass Effect: Andromeda in sims 4 but I realized that they looked too similar to my mshep so I guess it's back to the drawing bored for me...  Now I want to play sims 3 but when I installed win 10 to my gaming pc it messed up my sims 3 exp packs....  I think I really should address that at some point...

I do miss an open world. The Sims 3 did lag a lot due to it, though. The Sims 4 runs so much more smoothly for me. It takes me 5-10 minutes to open The Sims 3 >.> I have got a crap ton of CC so that doesn't help.

I remember sometimes when I would play sims 3 on my old laptop and everything would freeze for a few minutes and then presume, drove me mad lol.

Same. I also insist on trying to use huge custom worlds... my computer really hates that lol.

I love the Sims. I've played every game in the main series, and a few of the offshoot games like Sims Bustin' Out. Sims 3 was my favorite, but I have to say I really like the Sims 4.

I can't say I'm excited for the next DLC. Even though I really like the Sims 4, I have not loved any of the DLC's and the new one doesn't look really too much better than the last ones.

I love playing the Sims. I've played the series since the first Sims games, my first experience was when House Party was released and my brother introduced me to the game. I haven't played in awhile but so far I enjoy playing the Sims 3 more then Sims 4.

I own all of the EPs for The Sims 1, 2, and 3 (most of them I got on sale, like no way I'd pay $40 for Generations!). I will not touch The Sims 4. It is a subpar title, and subpar can not pass for a series in which the base-game is always purposefully incomplete and you have to wait years and pay hundreds of dollars to get it so. If a new title can not set itself apart from the previous with revolutionary new features, than there's no reason to even try it. The Sims 4 is an example of this. It did nothing notable, except for some CAS features.

I'm actually kind of happy about The Sims 4 being subpar. So much money not wasted! That includes money spent attempting to build a PC that will run the game at its best. I should be thanking EA. They've saved me so much money! =P

My favorite game of The Sims is Simcity 4. You actually feel responsible for the city you're managing, there's always something that needs to be taken care of, and you have to make a lot of decisions without knowing whether they're good or bad, in fact a lot of them are conflicting and you have to face the praise of one adviser and the hatred of another. That Health and Education lady was so freaking hard to please, but for some reason I liked her and tried to meet her demands, the environment adviser was the most annoying one. Eventually the city was so big that I couldn't handle it anymore, so I played God and sent a lot of natural disasters to destroy it before deleting it

Oh the Sims. This series gives me so much nostalgia. Was introduced first to the series with the Sims on PS2. An obviously inferior version to the PC release, but still a lot of fun. Me and my sister played it so much. She was a different person back then...Almost doesn't seem like it was real now.

Mostly played these games on consoles which the only shame of that was the absolutely terrible console release of The Sims 2. Holy crap that game was dreadful. The PC version was incredible and the console version was abysmal and was basically nothing like the PC release. Hate it hate it hate it. Luckily consoles got The Sims 3 and I don't care what anyone says, that was a wonderful console release. As good as the PC version? No, but damn good for a console version. I have played so many hours of that game on 360 and I friggin hope that it goes backwards compatible for the One.

You know what else I remember fondly? The absolutely wonderful music. I listen to the music from the first game from time to time and it floods my mind with good memories. I remember me and my sister getting our first PS2 and seeing that startup intro for the first time for The Sims. *sigh* Good times those were.

I kinda got super nostalgic there but this series has a special place in my heart. ^-^

I haven't played a console version since Bustin' Out. The first Sims game I owned was for the PS2, I really enjoyed it so my parents got me the PC version for Christmas and that's when I got obsessed :P

So far I'm really liking City Living :) I really like how lots have traits now. Since the latest patch, the game has been having random lags for me, though. It's not just me either, other people have been saying the same. I'm hoping for a new patch soon.

I've been unable to play Sims 4 yet, but I've got the first three for PC. I also have Sims 2, Sims 2 Pets, and Sims 3 for PS2 and PS3.

Console sims were what me and my siblings bonded over when I'd see them. They never really had a computer for the PC versions, so we settled for the PS2 games. Call me what you will, but I absolutely adore console Sims 2 and Sims 2 Pets. I've tried to play Sims 3 for PS3, but I just can't get into it. I'd much rather just get on the PC to play Sims 3 since they seem really similar and I have that option available.

I've also played The Urbz: Sims in the City growing up. Black Eyed Peas had become a guilty pleasure of mine because of it.

Omg, I loved the Urbz! I wish I still had my playstation so I could play it. I wonder if I could find a working emulator and rom for it somewhere, hmmm.

So, the rest of my Sunday will be dedicated to watching this guy's LP on The Urbz :P

I never played the console version of Urbz, but I have always loved the GBA/DS version. :3 I bought the DS version again recently since I was finally able to find it at a resale store and I hope to start it soon. That will bring back memories. It was one of the first DS games I ever got when the system launched.
