Do you want to see more angry/serious Discord?

We have had very few Discord scenes where he is actually full on serious. As in somewhat angry.

These are the two most epic Discord moments for me. 

 

I really want to see him actually full out angry and be able to use his unrivaled power to the fullest

 

Unrivaled as in we all know that Tirek crap was planned by Discord.

 

Anyone else want more angerz Discord?

 

(A small thing that made me think about this topic was watching Dragon Ball Super, whenever Beerus breaks his comedic role and goes into serious "god of destruction mode" its a show stealer)

Yes! Seeing him actually angry is always interesting as it is rather rare.

I don't want to see a lot of it, to me a large part of what makes it so effective is just how rare it is. Usually he's so goofy and ridiculous, even when he's being evil or kind of mean, but then when he kinda drops that and get's all serious and angry it works so well because of how different it feels.

 

 That said, seeing a few more moments here and there where something really get's to him and we get to see a bit of his angry side sounds fine, especially if it involves him being protective of Flutters, or possibly even some of his other friends.

If it is him defending something good, especially Fluttershy, I absolute want more serious Discord. His antics and fun stuff can be, well, fun, but they shouldn't overdo it as even that can get rather stale. The season 6 finale contained some of his best moments and in my opinion, it was the moments when he was taking things seriously as he should. Him and Fluttershy being best friends is one of my favorite things. <3

I would love it if we had another episode with a side villain (ahuizotl, mane-iac, etc) where they threaten Fluttershy and Discord gets angry and just Hakai...Destroys whoever it is in an instant.

Besides his prevalent mischievous and trickster side, I wanted to see more seriousness for Discord as a character. I think if it's played out correctly, we can have a really great Discord-centric episode focused on his true chaotic nature.

I imagine that Discord would be absolutely terrifying if pushed over the edge. After all, he is--in a sense--the pony version of the Devil.

Damn straight I want a more angry Discord.  Maybe that's an understatement as I want to see a more protective Discord.  Maybe the events of the Season 6 Finale has changed him even further to be more protective of his new found friends.

He would have been Serious in the finale, but because of plot he had to be put down without a direct nerf like Megan did in  s4.

 

And the only other time we could have REALLY seen him as serious was the s4 finale, but I am pretty positive most of it was planned by him so Twilight could open the chest.

I like Discord more when he's aloof and goofy than when he's angry. As others said, what makes him being angry and serious so effective is that it's such a rare sight. Giving him too many moments like that ruins the effect.
