Yes, I am an anime fan.

 

Not as big as many others but not exactly a noob either.

 

Most recently I tried to watch Robotech: The Macross Saga and two episodes in it's pretty boring. I gotta give it more of a shot though, my friend says it picks up a few episodes in more so I'll have to keep that in mind.

 

I also want to watch more Blassreiter, watched two episodes but someone got mad at me for watching it without them so now I have to wait until they catch up. It's been like a month now and I'm sick and tired of waiting so I'm gonna watch more without them. ) : <

 

I'm glad Darker Than Black's season 2 is getting dubbed. I can't wait until the full season is released on DVD. I don't think they are dubbing the four bridging episodes though, good thing I already watched those subbed.

My first anime I truly watched (besides DBZ back in the day) was Soul Eater 3 years ago. From Soul Eater I moved to K-ON! and then to Panty and Stocking. Sprinkle in some TTGL and Code Geass in there and that's the extent of my anime career. Since then I've lost all interest in anime. Tried Star Driver but eventually dropped it.

Im following Naruto atm. Both manga and Anime.

I've seen a few other animes like, Dead man whonderland, A bit of one peice, Strike Witches, Spirited Away. Ok, i cant count them all.

 

One piece is the only anime that i droped out from tho.

I love the Fruits Basket anime but I hear it's nothing compared to the manga.

 

<.< I should also mention my favorite manga of all time are Jing: King of Bandits, Love Hina and Negima...or anything else by Ken Akamatsu for that matter. I always liked his artstyle and characters but Negima proved him to be a master of storytelling.

Oh my god, before ponies, I was a huge anime fan! I was on the verge to becoming a *shivers* weeaboo. But ponies soon pulled me out of all of that!

Yhea, im a massive fan of anime!

 

Id have to say One Piece is my favourite anime. Ive even got a little steel Tony Tony Chopper badge that i pin on my coat everyday when i leave the house, praying someone with recognise it. Nobody's recognised it yet. When people question it, i just say "Its a racoon dog".

 

Other than One Piece, i did grow up watching DBZ. One of my early childhood memories is waiting up one night with my brother for the final episode of the freiza saga to air. Good days indeed!

 

Ive watched loads of other anime to, stuff like Hellsing, Full Metal Alchemist and Cashern Sins come to mind, but i wont bore you with a massive list

First anime I watched a lot was yugioh. The first series was good, and even now when I'm playing Magic the Gathering, my friends and I will declare a game to be under "duelist kingdom rules". In other words, you can do anything with any card as long as you can explain why it should work that way.

 

These days, I don't like watching anime, but I read manga. I usually don't have time to watch more than an episode or two, and in that same time, I could read 6 or 7 chapters of the manga, so I generally do that. The only time I watch anime now is if there was a really epic fight scene in the manga and I want to see it animated.

 

I'm currently reading naruto, bleach, soul eater, fairy tail and deadman wonderland. I read O-parts hunter (also called 666 Satan) and it remains my favorite manga. Death note was great. I read Rave, which was good, but probably had more cliches than anything else I've ever read. I absolutely loved FMA. I followed D.gray-man for a really long time, but now, even with the wiki and plot summaries, I can't tell what's happening, so I dropped it. I read a bunch of one piece before it got boring. I stopped not too long after that guy with the cigars and smoke powers was introduced. It just didn't hold my interest, and some parts were just too overly silly.

I used to be a rather heavy anime fan but lately I just can't really seem to find them interesting anymore.

 

I watched my fair share of the classics growing up; DBZ, Pokemon, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and just find all the modern day stuff to not even compare. Maybe it was just because I was younger and it all just seemed newer to me or something.

 

Though admittedly I have started watching a little bit of Black Butler on Hulu Plus recently and it seems pretty cool.
