If you could have an All Stallion Mane 6.

As somepony who supports gender equality, I've stated before that I would like to see more Stallions and Colts get more focus in the series to show how much the series has transcended it's target audience.

One idea would be to have a certain episode (or two parter) have a situation that requires six male characters to wield the Elements of Harmony and save the day. Which six stallions would you put on your team to save the day?

I'd have:

Shining Armor: Magic

Big Macintosh: Honesty

Cheese Sandwich: Laughter

Fancy Pants: Generosity

Soarin: Loyalty.

No clue about Kindness. I would pick Zephyr Breeze provided that his character shakes off enough of his jerky flaws before he can be worthy enough.

If I were  to pick a male cast for the show, in place of the current Mane 6,  I'd just pick the R63/stallion versions of the Mane 6. Simple.

~Loyalty: Rainbow Blitz

~Generosity: Elusive

~Magic: Dusk Shine

~Laughter: Bubble Berry

~Honesty: Applejack

 

If we're going for an episode of some sort....where the Mane 6 are in trouble or something...then....I've no i dea...not that many stallions come to mind, really. that would fit their elements.

I don't really feel like switching genders like that is necessary. True gender equality doesn't care one way or the other what a character's gender is as long as they aren't treated as inferior to the other gender. MLP is already gender equating.

This sounds like the Stallionverse over at Fimfiction.  They had Blueblood (magic), Time Turner, Soarin, Big Mac, Shining Armor, & ICR who (it's been awhile)

I guess it would make sense for Spike, Discord and Thorax. Despite not being legitimate ponies, those three are the most prominent male characters of the series.
