It's a pulling tractor named "High Tech Redneck" by the way. Easier to see on desktop than it is on mobile. The tractor model, is an International Harvester 1066.

Pulling a sled with weight on it.  The weight moves further up to make it more difficult the further it is pulled. Tracks are 300-320 feet in the US and 100 meters across the pond in Europe.  Indoor tracks are usually shorter.  

It's a motorsport that's real popular where I live.  Teams get together and see who has the most powerful tractor.  They use diesel engines or alcohol burning engines.  They even do it with pickup trucks and semi trucks. It's been nicknamed "redneck drag racing" and rightfully so.  There's videos all over YouTube if you want to see one in action just search tractor pull.

I know that's a long winded response but you tripped the explanation trap in my brain, sorry.
