Well because Ennex has practically the same power level as Techno now they are actually locked in a mental connection with each other. So Techno and Ennex can see each other through the link and they can spy on each other through it to!

@Techno Universal A good rule of thumb to gauge whether something is op or not is to ask these questions: Does this power cut out potential roleplaying? Or, does it make something so easy that it renders the situation pointless?

Auto converting Changelings eliminates potential roleplaying of converting them and renders the war with changelings pointless. About as much as mesmerizing and trapping them in invincible capes of holding did.

Yeah to be honest I'm actually getting better over time at avoiding OP things! Like I'm already starting to fix the Changeling reformation OP issue by simply making it take a while for it to work! Anyways I have been finding ways to get around things that might be a little OP and it's been working really well!

You still want to make sure that people get to RP the conversion. Even if it's longer than instantaneously you're still making it too easy to convert and end the changeling war. This should involve deplomacy and dialogue, not quick fixes.

Yeah or maybe the changelings get changed back only to be taken control by Ennex soon after! So yes equalisers like that often work really well to!

That is an idea. Feel kinda bad for the changelings having next to no autonomy in this though.

I wouldn't say it's a debacle per say. @Techno Universal is learning how to rp better is all. An rp like this with pretty lax rules is a good place to do that in. 

@Maple Bat I like how Primrose keeps unintentionally freaking your character out. He has no clue about how ponies are typically scared of dragons, or that spontaneously changing size is something ponies would be alarmed over.

Yeah really it's normal to have 16 year olds who are still largely learning about everything. So really I'm not only leaning how to RP better but I'm also leaning how to be a better person! Plus even with the capes in the RP they are allowing me to see your personalities through your reactions and options of the capes. The capes seriously can be a great thing in RPs for observing the psychology of other players in the RP!

Like how Primrose has never dealt with ponies, Maple's never really been around dragons. Well not for long of course sometimes she'd head to the dragonlands to speak with Ember and then leave so Spike and Ember are the only really dragons she's interacted with.

I'd like to make a distinction between Eastern/Wingless dragons like Primrose and Winged Dragons like in the show. It's part of my headcanon about how Spike is actually a different variety of dragon than winged ones. Sort of a Unicorn like variant on dragons with the magic fire and what not.

yeah, i was kinda vague on what happened.  wanted to leave it open-ended, in case we wanted/needed to bring him back.  i wouldn't mind you playing as him, since @Maple Bat is also doing Chrysalis.  just gotta figure out exactly what happened to him so you can take over him.

Aren't Eastern Dragons more serpent-like? You know, more like snakes with mustaches like Steven Magnet from the 2nd episode and the episode with the Donkey wedding.

Personally, can't Spike have of both Western and Eastern Dragons? Wouldn't that make him more unique to the rest of Dragons we've seen?

I like the way you think my man. Also yes, Eastern dragons are more serpent like, just like Primrose is. Spike could be a different variant.

If you're going to do Sombra based on his depiction in the comics, you better be prepared to provide backstory on him. Because I am not at all familiar with the comics past #24 or past the first 12 issues of Friends Forever; just the show's version of Sombra is all I know about him.

Sombra is on the battlefield y'all, and he is out for blooooood. 

 

After getting his physical body destroyed via a lava bath, courtesy of Ennex, he's now rocking his all natural Umbrum look, and all the badness that entails. 

Like in the show and comics, his major weakness is intense harmonious magic, a la Crystal heart, Tree of Harmony, ect

Ennex doesn't have access to any of that though, so he MAY wanna consider a truce before he gets iced lol. 

 

Also word of warning to magic users, I WILL be employing that nasty Crystallizing horn ability.
