My Hero Academia: Vigilantes (2025) I took a peek at this and it grabbed my attention. Now I might just have to watch the whole series. It looks pretty good, with some obvious inspiration from Kick-Ass, which is a good thing. Can’t wait to see where it goes.

I'm not much into the "main"  stream anime most ppl seem to latch onto.   But I will say that one is kinda grabbing me a bit to watch.  I did watch the first ep and I liked it.

The Gorilla God's Go-To Girl:  its so far a "harem" school setting anime in a magical world type.     It's light-hearted so far and overall not so bad.     I like the humor a bit, and the animation is pretty good.

I just finished Blue Box: Pretty good all the way through. But as is often the case, it left the ending ambiguous as though they didn’t know whether or not they’d be green-lit for another season. In my opinion, every series should have a solid ending and not leave anything hanging in the vague hope of getting another season. Nothing gets resolved that way and all too often results in great series’ ending without a resolution. If they get a shot to continue the story, they should come up with a new storyline rather than drag out the same stuff until it grows stale.

I finished something off my very dusty watchlist. A series that been on my list from 2013, freaking Maoyuu Maou Yuusha. I knew a little of the plot beforehand, yet I was amazed on how good this show was.

Mind you, in my youth, I didn't really watch a lot of sub shows. Mainly since my shows that I did watch, had a dub to it. This was me in high school, so I didn't know just how many good shows that I missing. So find it, and then watch it now. Oh, it sent me back. Its a romance anime, with the demon king that wants date the very hero who wants to fight them. Making the demon king to be this beautiful woman and the hero to be this very powerful, yet naïve young man. So good of a romance plot. Yet, the main story about having these 2 to work together to bring about world peace between humans and demons. Great.

Now, since this plotline has been done and touched upon in recent years. It was refreshing to see this storyline in its purest form. Which only makes it more special since this series was the cause for that trope. I know its not the real origin of this trope, yet it did popularize it enough to make it possible.

There was only 1 thing I disliked about this show. That the Hero and Demon Queen never actually get that romantic with each other. Its always set as if they are new and nervous with each other. Yet if you are around someone that you find attractive for nearly 2 years, how are you not going to try something at least once? Still odd, yet I do like in the manga series, it does have an ending with them actually being romantic with each other.

I also like how this show basically just call the characters by their titles and no names. Its kind of silly and nice.

Was looking to watch an older anime, 90s-ish, so I chose City Hunter on Crunchyroll.

Pretty good :ooh: ! Right amount of action and drama, also love the nostalgic feel to it, being older.

I've now watched 900 episodes of One Piece. B) We're in Wano country now.

I really bugs the crap out of me that Zoro's lost an eye and it's never even been mentioned! That's a MAJOR handicap for a swordsman!

I like to believe that Zoro didn't really lose the eye. That in fact, he is going though some strange specialized training that Mihawks told him to do. Like imagine if its like a way for Zoro to focus more on Haki powers. Or something that has a vow on. Like to not open that eye until Luffy is Pirate king, only then can he open that eye. Hence the cut, to make it a constant reminder. Or he lost the eye after get lost somehow during his training period. It can be anything at this point now.

I'm doing something silly. I'm reading the Tsukimichi: Moonlight Fantasy manga as a mental countdown to when season 3 finally is announced and airs.

Yet the anime that I am watching is both "I'm the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire!" and "The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom" as both series are doing the whole, I was wronged in my past life, now in my new life I will do what I want to. Both in different genre. Isekai and Romance.

What? I been binging on those Otome romance anime. They are lot better than I thought they would be. If you don't believe me, watch Level 99 Villainess or  I'll Become a Villainess Who Goes Down in History. Those shows go hard.

The Stitch anime. The only anime I have ever watched.

I thought about watching that, but unless I'm confusing it for the Chinese one, I've heard bad things about its portrayal of Lilo.
