Spike is a solid character and is pretty important and everything but lazy and dumb. Twilight is his family and it understandable that he is afraid of losing her. How would you feel if you lose your family?

Actually, Spike isn't useless. The show hints that he's good at just about anything he sets his mind to. He's good at playing instruments (piano and drums), ice skating, cooking and cleaning.

It's one thing to be entertaining discussion, but this looks to be the opposite. You are free to have your views, just don't create a topic so high on the mountain that you aren't open to other views.
