Or.... do you think Princess Celestia is not big enough? Or just right?

I think she is just a case of being naturally, uh, big, compared to the others. Compared to other ponies her stature is quite large. Probably comes with being a demi-god.

I don't really see her having any sort of weight problem, nor do I see her needing to lose any.

Cadence on the other hand looks like she could benefit from gaining a bit more.

I don't think she is overweight at all. Her body is quite similar to Luna's. And there was a pony in "Canterlot Boutique" who was much heavier than she is.

It's a side-effect of princesshood. I wish I could find Twilight's pre-and post princess sizes comparison and future projection picture {it was a silly one}.
