But if i did, yes because I'm trying to make friends before boyfriends. If you don't want to know me as a friend friend, you won't want to know me as a girlfriend .

There's a lot that I could think of, she impacted me a lot and I really do feel like I haven't been the same ever since... I guess that love doesn't come easily, and it takes a lot of time and a lot of effort, even a lot of sacrifices.

Likewise, she has taught me a lot, and next time I'll have to be very careful while forming a relationship with my next gf, since I didn't pay much attention to her being honest or loyal to me. Even though this won't be very easy since its hard for me to find a special somepony.

I learned that feelings absolutely dominated my life when I fell in love the first time. For someone inexperienced with love, this can crush a man - like really, really bad. Fast forward, I discovered that I was never actually taught how to have a relationship with the opposite sex. Relationships take skill - the greatest of which is self-confidence. Without confidence, you can be damaged forever by a relationship. There's no question in my mind.

(Me IRL: I don't have too many expectations. They just need to be able to tolerate me...Physically, I'm kind of high-maintenance (epileptic) so yeah. But if they can love me for who I am and vice versa, it shouldn't be too hard)

Yeah. And I'm soo embarressed, did so many things for them lol. Hardest part is learning to trust people again, but the easiest part is realizing that I wasn't the toxic one.

That's complicated...I do enjoy physical contact. I give hugs and receive hugs and I am totally comfortable with it, even with people I don't know. However, I'm also held back by confusing social norms. For example, most of the people are interact with are fellow employees or clients. Can't touch clients, and co-workers...not usually. My family are the only people I snuggle with regularly. Even still, I have to be careful, even with my family. A mature, white male must be very careful in this society - a single accusation can spell total ruin.

I actually think many people, especially men, suffer considerably because of the touching taboo in the US.

Not really. There are only two people who I feel super comfortable hugging in real life.  I would probably want to hug my boyfriend a lot though.
