How you became a fan of My Little Pony

I was a fan back when it first aired up until 2015-2016 i started to lose interest and life took over for a bit, back into the show because of the movie and looking forward to reconnecting and making some friends.

My name is Mel and i am 20yrs old female from Canada and ive been a MLP FIM fan since it was first aired on tv, up until 2015-2016 when life started to take over and i lost interest in alot of things. ive been having a hard time with just everything in general since then and especially now until the movie came out and it sparked somthing in me that i havent felt in a long time. i got back into rewatching the show and i thought id bring back my OC too, Valentine Vladivoj the alicorn, i haven't had the time to finish any recent art ive done of him but ill get onto it soon. this ref is old (let me know if you recognize me from old times !)

im a very intoverted person irl and im online literally anytime im not at work, please feel free to pm me, i may be blunt and very selective of people but it doesnt hurt to try to make friends with me.
