Hmmm, everyone has their own stories and I feel for each and every one of them.

 In the past, I have been cheated on before and it was by a best friend of many years, so it made me lose trust in people for a long time.

Then in my last relationship of several years, it was one sided as I was the one trying to keep things afloat. They checked out emotionally and mentally due to personal reasons that I tried for a long time to be supportive of and realized that I could not help them with those issues.
