Web traffic, content creation, con attendance, viewership numbers, etc. This isn't to say that the show is worthless, or that continuing to be involved in the fandom is as well. It simply means that others have grown out of it, and slowly drifted away. Happens all the time. From my perspective, I don't measure my enjoyment of the show by the numbers of others who participate in the fandom. There are plenty that I can still interact with, and since there are only so many that I can have a legitimate conversation with and still function as an adult, its contraction has had no effect on me whatsoever. Since I don't need validation to make me feel better about likely something, I can sit back and enjoy the conversations when they come, and enjoy the show when it airs. That brings me to another point. And yes, the show is likely over after one more complete season and one final movie. That is perfectly fine. All good things come to an end, and they should come to an end. Just because that happens doesn't mean that one has to stop interacting with other fans, and that certainly doesn't mean that one needs to never again enjoy the show. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I never really cared what happened in the fandom. What i mean was more the time when the fans were the most active/creative.
