I don't mind 'em, I'd be ok dogsitting one and like larger breeds, but they can be too messy, smelly and sometimes drooly for my cleanliness-obsessed ass to consider owning one

I like both. But doggos tend to be more empathetic and sweet friends. Of course it depends on the kitty or doggo, but I mean this generally. I prefer the high empathy of doggos.
