Best influences

I was thinking about how much have the mane six progressed and wanted to read your opinions on who is the best influence for a character throughout the show.

It doesn't have to be a mane six member, but any character (or characters) who had shown development during the show with the influence of its relationship with other character.

I'll be starting with...

Fluttershy: I think her best influence is somewhat an easy one and it is no other than Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash has been a close friend to Fluttershy since childhood, she has shown how much she cares about the shy pony and has helped her to break her shell and become more confident little by little.

For Twilight... i think it's Pinky. Pinky is like the friendship jedi master (cept for that one guy).

 

I think for Rarity it's applejack and applejack for Rarity.

 

For Starlight it's obviously Twilight.

Sunset shimmer and princess twilight then in return human twilight from sunset shimmer. I shed one manly tear when sunset reaches out to midnight sparkle and says "let me show you there's another way, just like someone once did for me."

Princess celestia; dumping workload at your peers while doing nothing.

In all "seriousness", it would Twilight sparkle, because she always knows what  to do in a heartbeat.

Twilight Sparkle: Princess Cadance has been like a big sister to her since she was little, she seems to always have a the right words to guide Twi and, as opposed to with Celestia, Twilight lets herself make mistakes with Cadance because she trusts her as a role model and not as an idol.

Applejack - Rarity: Ever since the resolution of Look Before You Sleep, AJ and Rarity have been progressively accepting, guiding and opening up one another to new things, even things they despised before. IMO, they have the most symbiotic relationship in FiM.

Rainbow Dash: With a thick skull and an overblown ego, Rainbow Dash seemed to always rely on her cool persona to support others until Scootaloo came along and made her step up and set up an example to guide the little filly. Rainbow Dash is still one of the most immature of the mane 6, but when it comes to Scootaloo, she does everything in her power to overcome that immaturity and become the best role model she can be, one lesson at a time.
