Demon Sunset Shimmer or Midnight Sparkle?

midnight sparkle was such a cool villain and I loved the animation for it so my vote is for midnight sparkle, I loved sunset shimmer as a protagonist a lot more than her being the antagonist

I would say Gaia Everfree was better than either of them, as an obscessed equestrian-magic-enhanced alter-ego. She got an awesome villian song, after all

Midnight Sparkle is 100% better than Sunset Satan (Yes, that's her actual name.)

Midnight Sparkle was way better because it was more relatable. Midnight Sparkle emerged from fear and anxiety, the magic influenced by the negative auras of the Crystal Prep students. Demon Sunset Shimmer came from the corruptive nature of just yearning for power.

Midnight Sparkle by a landslide, says me and the poll. When I first saw Demon Sunset Shimmer, I kind of went, "PFFT!", because Sunset then was just a corny, over-the-top villain who wanted power. Alternate Twilight's character motivation was many times more believable and the aesthetic of her demon form is far less campy-looking too.

I really prefer Demon Sunset but talking alter egos it must be Midnight. An evil Twilight simply can't be beaten.

Midnight Sparkle. So sexy and powerful. Sunset demon was powerless to me. Maybe that's why it took Sci Twi longer to shake off Midnight Sparkle, her alter ego is scarier and darker.
