You asked how many people I knew. The internet is not a real median too judge people on really since people can freely say anything with little too no penalties.

The rest of what I said was utilizing your post as it pertained to the discussion at hand.

Which is why it's all the more likely that they'd tell the truth about their attractions.  While out in the world, you might be comparably suppressed or limited by prudence and peer pressure.  Whereas, on the internet, you can both hide who you are and reveal who you truly are at the same time.  Example: Broners.  There seem to be a good deal of "closet Broners."  Yet, they can get their Broner on as much as they'd like on MLP Forums.

Hey, I have an idea!  Let's just say that ponies are attractive and get along!!!  :)

I agree with this; especially the part in bold.

Absolutely not, the day that I say that ponies are attractive is the day that I'll be sent to a mental hospital.

1. Why would I need to see more people if I have not intention to?
So you'll hang with more people. It's really fun.

2. Why would I envy you for that?
Because I don't have crushes on fictional characters.

2. I don't see what's bad to have crushes on fictional characters...

This is getting a bit stupid and off topic.

You seem too have a hard time when people disagree with you, the simple fact is this. Most people in general maybe have some sort of fictional character crush depending if you can count human actors for example game of thrones? Does that count as fictional, I would say no since the actual people look the same.

Most people do not have crushes on animated characters because alot of people simply do not watch animated tv series, the most popular animated TV series are shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama,  etc. Futurama is a good example, sometimes I think Amy Wong looks fairly cute / hot, doesnt mean I think about her outside of the show. I strongly believe if you think / fantasize about a character, especially a non human character outside of the show it enters the realms of being a little weird and makes you sound a little obsessed.

Rainbow Dash is not real in any term or sense, it is a character drawn and scrippted by Hasbro and voice acted by Ashleigh Ball (who is actually quite cute herself) :P.  Surely theres better things to focus on / argue about than if ponies on a tv show are attractive, and I would suggest you stop being snotty / personal with people by asking questions like 'how many people do you know', 'your only 15', it makes you sound quite hostile, judgmental etc and if you cant accept the opposite opinion too the OP then do not make the post in the first place, allow everyone to answer how they want.

Stubborn.  They COULD be real, you know.  That's why I became a Brony in the first place.

I don't know if that was supposed to be a insult or not. The "Ptooey" part implies that it's a insult, but neurotypical isn't a insult.

Well if you find them, congratualtions on finding the first alien species. But things dont have to be real too be attractive anyway, I could draw a very ''sexy'' random person now and people could crush on it, thats the point of imagination at the end of the day, but people have too draw the line at what is imaginary and what is actually real.

I can't see the point of this argument, cuz the attitude of mind about fictional character's attractiveness is a thing that unassailable. I mean, everybody has an opinion about it, for example, I don't find them attractive ,moreover, I don't like the idea of portraying a cartoon character in any sexually way. Still, I think that people who attracted to these characters has sensible reasons why they do and I accept it.

It might be fun for you and I might find it enjoyable too but I generally dislike most people so specifically searching for people I like to be around seems like too much of a bother to me.

And in how far is that a problem? People tend to be way different than how they act in public or around certain people... I act completely different around most people than I act in front of my family... And even to them I don't really show who I really are... I'm most honest on the internet actually...

Yes, I do find the ponies attractive. That's not the reason I watch the show, but it sure doesn't hurt. I don't think there's anything wrong with it either.

Whatever.  I don't know why the hell this conversation got so ugly, and I'm not gonna be around when it reaches its peak of ugliness and then goes down with a bang.  And I never said they had to be real to be attractive, and I can imagine as much as I want; only I know what's real.  Reality is nothing more than what you think it is, never forget that.  Peace.

The difference between people not acting like they're really are and people who doesn't exist is that you can learn how a person really is by hanging with them a lot, but you can't make Harry Potter real by reading about him a lot.

I don't think you will get to know a person that well simply by spending time with them; it depends... It is true but I still don't get how that makes having crushes on fictional characters a "bad thing" or a problem.

This is getting a bit stupid and off topic.

*Calls the argument stupid and off-topic.  Continues to argue and be similarly off-topic.*

No more than they generally have with my disagreeing with them.  There are people who crush on the characters themselves.  Unless Sean Bean seriously goes around lopping the heads off of Night's Watch deserters, he isn't the same as Ned Stark.  Not that I think Sean Bean couldn't manage a few decapitations.

Most people do not have crushes on animated characters because alot of people simply do not watch animated tv series, the most popular animated TV series are shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, etc.

I used to crush on an animated rabbit named Babs Bunny when I was a kid.  What people do or don't watch later on in life is often very different from what they watched when they were young.  A lot of children watch animated series, and a lot of adults used to be children.  You've also excluded Japanese animation altogether; something that's entirely relevant to whether or not people crush on animated characters.  Anime is quite popular, and numerous anime are seemingly built around the presumed attractiveness of the characters therein.

I would suggest you stop being snotty / personal with people by asking questions like 'how many people do you know', 'your only 15', it makes you sound quite hostile, judgmental etc and if you cant accept the opposite opinion too the OP then do not make the post in the first place, allow everyone to answer how they want.

I would suggest that you not make me any suggestions.  Or call me "judgmental" while judging me in the same breath (and myself and others throughout your post).

Huh. That seemed like a pretty nice argument. I do find it weird though that anyone can find it weird to like a fictional character or someone online. I haven't had an actual crush on any person, fictional or real, but I have liked people. Luna Lovegood for instance. There is also someone I met online that I like. It really is kind of weird that you have to physically meet someone in the real world to like them.

To be fair, I don't consider anyone who doesn't find ponies attractive "weird."  Or, if I did, it would be according to my own personal definition of weird.  Which applies to everyone's individual perspective.  Being attracted to Rainbow Dash comes naturally to me.  It wasn't a choice, nor would I change my feelings if I somehow could.  Rainbow Angelbabe is the best thing that's ever happened to me; having her in my life, in what ways she can be, has had a significant and positive impact.  I don't necessarily expect or need anyone to understand that.  But any who would begrudge someone real happiness because they find the way they came about it to be "weird" sounds, to me, like a truly miserable person.

Honestly? This topic is highly controversial.

Personally I am attracted to both people and fiction characters variably on their personality. Thing that most people do not know is that personality is one major point of attraction to a person or in this case a pony. I am personally never interested too much in the looks of what I find attractive or not but I rely on personality.

In english? I am attracted to ponies I find personality to be of the liking, ones I can connect to. Being IRL Panromantic Demisexual I can see myself actually dating some of these if they were real. But here is the point:

IF THEY WERE REAL

I am just putting this in bold letters right here because I find that people often take this matter too seriously! What is there to care anyway? These are colorful marshmellows who have human personalitys that some of us can connect to. Ofcourse we will find them attractive in some ways! Honestly though? It doesn't really matter if you do fancy it or not. At the end of the day it is just a drawing on the screen.

In short: Yes I am attracted. Yes I do like them. Tell me though, why does it matter so much?

The answer is simple... It doesn't really matter... I just find it ludicrous when people criticize liking fictional characters as if there was any problem with that...

I do! I think ponies are super cute! I'm mostly just mentally attracted to them. I cant view them sexually, as I cant help but think of real horses. I do like romantic fanfictions though! I guess emotions and personality are more important to me than the physical aspect of it.

Overwhelmingly cute? Definitely. Attractive? Not really how I feel towards them, though I can understand and respect why some people are attracted to them.

Humanized Fluttershy, though...
