movies/tv Movies so bad, that you walked out of the theater?

Borat was a big one for me.  Actually saw it with my mom when it first came out, she was the one to say "Uh hey, I think we should go".  It was kinda funny but I think that part where they run through that hotel naked and fight was what killed it for her.

Black Panther hands down. Not only was he over hyped by non-comic book fans, he was also misrepresented so the non-comic book fans ccould feel like they knew him. Marvel has a way with choosing actors based on how meme worthy they are. Donald Glover did not make Black Panther like his character. He was basically Spider-Man but Donald Glover...which is why the movie did well.

For me, Halloween II (2009).  I sat through most of the movie, hating how ugly, vile, and mean-spirited it was, but I soldiered through it. The moment when Michael Myers screams "Die!" at Dr. Loomis broke me, and I stormed out.

The other one was Aliens VS. Predator: Requiem (2007), when the Predalien invaded the maternity ward. I actually left the theater to puke.

Probably Hotel Transylvania 3.

It was pretty boring for me and my mom said I needed to go home, so I had better things to do.

I know what you mean. The whole movie was beyond R rating.

AVP Requiem.

Really gross.

Well, I didn't walk out of the theatre.

I just stopped watching it on my computer. It was too much.

Yep. And to be clear, I'm not a stickler when it comes to violence in horror movies....so long as it's done tastefully. And the violence AVP Requiem is beyond tasteless and overdone.

Same for Rob Zombie's Halloween films. Thank god the new one looks much, much better.

Exactly. I got by the part with chestbursters and the xenomorphs, and am actually into the Alien and Predator movies, but AVP 2 proved to be way too much. Even for me.

Though to be fair, the violence is hardly even the worst thing about AVP 2.

None I’ve never wallked out of a theater before a movie ends. Even if it’s really bad.

Fair enough. But has any movie made you come close to walking out, or at least consider it?

I've never had to experience that, luckily enough. I've only went to theaters about four or five times in my life, and usually they were decent movies (though not usually great ones).

But I have to say that if I had watched Sausage Party in theaters, I surely would have walked out within 10 minutes of it starting...

I just thought of another one, Doogal (2006).

Doogal is on the line of "so bad it's good" to me. The level of incompetence in the script (and the subsequently bizarre and incoherent final product) is actually sort of hilarious if you're in the right mood.

No, I've never had this experience. Considering how expensive going to see a movie can be, I always wait to see how it fairs in reviews and stuff before I'm willing to shell out money to see it. If a movie looks like it's going to suck from the trailers alone, then obviously I'm not going to bother seeing it either.

I don't walk out of theaters because the movie is bad. I just fall asleep. Paul Blart: Maul Cop 2 is the current record holder for putting me out within 20 minutes. The Love Guru is the runner up at around half an hour.

You thought Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 was going to be good?

Strange Magic was the worst movie I've ever seen in a theater. Didn't walk out but I was strongly considering it.

I didn't see Star Wars 7 or 8 in a theater because I didn't want to give Disney the money and I knew I would probably fly into a rage and tear down the screen.

I've honestly never left a movie early. Even though there were movies that I hated, I ended up staying cause I'm too comfortable in my movie chair and  I'm also too preoccupied stuffing my face with popcorn lol.

But there was one movie where I was tempted to leave cause my eyes started to hurt (literally, not figuratively). My family and I watched Avatar  in 3D and halfway through, I started getting sick. I guess it was because the whole movie was pretty much CGI and the fact that the movie was like 3 hours long lol. I ended up just taking my 3D glasses off and just focused on stuffing my face with popcorn

Transformers (Michael Bay). When Sam’s mom talked about him masturbating, I gave up and walked out. I paid to see robots fight each other, not hear see Bay's fantasies about Megan Fox.

I don't go to many movies in the theater anymore because so many of them are crap and I don't want to spend the money. I research everything exhaustively before I'll shell out good money for a movie ticket. Instead, I watch them when they get to dvd and then walk out of the room when they start to suck. I used to go to see everything that came out, now I see almost nothing till it comes to my living room.

On the rare occasion I do go to the movies, I always stay all the way through (even the bad ones) out of some perverse sense of getting my money's worth. Not that that makes a lot of sense.
