What's your favorite season of the show?

I don't know if a thread like this was created before, but whatever, I'm morbidly curious. I wanna know, what's your favorite season of the show? Mine is either season 4 or 5, because a LOT of the episodes that came out during those seasons I LOVED. Not to mention, I first became a Brony around the time season 4 came out, so those were the first new episodes of the show I watched. Not to mention, the season 4 finale (Twilight's Kingdom) is my favorite episode of the show hands down, because of the awesome fight scenes. But it's hard to choose because I loved a lot of season 5's episodes, too! Anyway, what's YOUR favorite season of the show and why? I'm also gonna do a follow up of this post to ask what your LEAST favorite season is. (I have a more definitive answer there.)

I went with Season 2. It's almost a perfect tie with the first season but it has Lesson Zero and some other special favorites. Tough call though.

Season 4 is my most favorite season. I really enjoyed Twilight's Kingdom (both Part 1 & 2) as it felt pretty suspenseful, but also pretty action-packing. I also enjoyed Pinkie Pride and the Power Ponies episodes too

Season 2 is my favorite. It's where the brony fandom started. Return Of Harmony, Lesson Zero, Hurricane Fluttershy and A Canterlot wedding were my favorite episodes.

Season 2 for the win. It just has the greatest amount of classic episodes (Lesson Zero, Hurricane Fluttershy, Ponyville Confidential).

Season 6 is a close runner up though. That also has a lot of classics (Saddle Row Review, To Where and Back Again, Flutter Brutter).

It's season 7, especially because of the heavier emphasis on family which lead to some great episodes like Forever Filly, Parental Glideance, Perfect Pear, and Once Upon a Zeppelin. Really wished the entire season could have focused on that instead of the half-baked Pillar half of the season, especially since the writers would end up throwing them away afterwards unless you were Starswirl(because it's not like he got enough focus as is) or (oh lord why)Rockhoof

Definitely season 2 for me. It was peak MLP. The episodes were pretty consistently good, and the characters were well flushed out throughout. It took all the amazing traits of the first season and made them even better. The season started and ended with a boom; The Return of Harmony and The Canterlot Wedding both being epic two-parters. Then, we got some really great episodes. Hurricane Fluttershy, The Last Roundup, Hearths Warming Eve, May the Best Pet Win, and Lesson Zero to name some of the great ones. I still have memories of watching this season for the first time. It was such a great season! Seasons 1 and 4 are also pretty great too.

The first two seasons (the Faust seasons) are my definite favorite. Close second is Season 5.
