Most serious injury you have ever had in your life?

For me, I'd say when I went to a theme park and tripped over a pothole in the pathway. I was actually running to get to the next ride quickly; bad idea. Not sure how to describe the injury I got in a not-so-distinguishing way, but I'll say this: it wasn't pretty. In fact, the wound is still visible on my knee.

It happened in like 2016.

Concussion, bruised ribs, (one cracked, but not completely broken) back muscle damage, breathing/choking problems from being ventilated, some minor internal injury, spent three whole days being unconscious.  Spent a whole week in the hospital..

Yup, a couple of years ago I came close to dying.

Here's a tip. Never crash your car into a big tree. The tree always wins!

I've had a lot of minor injuries that have left scars. I have a scar on my elbow from when I fell off a bike and hit a tree, I have a scar on my tongue from when I fell off a bench and bit it (I was like 3), and I have a scar on my heel when a door slammed shut on it.

Of the three, the heel injury was pretty severe, since the cut was so deep you could see the tendon. I couldn't walk normally for like a week, I remember having to lean on someone for support as I hobbled around. It was pretty bad. :c

I had a clumsy idiot of a friend who closed a car door on my fingers once. Luckily it didn't cause any serious damage. Couldn't move them for a while though and had to stare at some unsightly scabs and bruising. Also itched quite a bit from what I remember. Tame in comparison to what you guys suffered though. :mlp_blink:

Huh...

Broken arm, broken collarbone, broken teeth, snapped ACL, had the tendons in my hands severed at one point, poisoned multiple times, stabbed several times, had acid poured down my back, 2nd degree burns, too many cuts, bruises, and sprains to mention... I think that's about all.

I was playing soccer at school and got pushed into a brick wall and split my knee open, the wound still can be seen on my knee.

Around twelve years ago, I bruised my arm while at a park. I don't remember much else, other than it was a very painful experience.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

After my last post, this seems like nothing. I still have a "V" shaped scar on my thumb. When I was six, I cut myself on a broken window. (I didn't break it, but for some reason stuck my hand through). I remember the blood just POURING out, and my dad wrapping it up. I remember getting in the car. Oddly, I have no memory of actually getting to the ER. I think I went into shock. Not from blood loss, but fear.

For a craft project at school, we were assigned to make maraca like instruments using nails, beads and cardboard rolls. A week after I made mine and taken it back home, one of the nails fell out and I stepped onto it barefoot. It didn't go in deep, but it did sting a lot. My parents were pretty pissed about it of course

Years later my family made a day to go out quad biking. We were all given safety measures and make sure to go slow on terrains with poor friction, like sand. Through one of the sandy areas, one of my wheels fell into the side gutter, and I was sent flying while my quad bike flipped over. It was really painful at first, and I had lots of burns and bruises from it days later, but no broken bones and I just literally got straight up and back riding right after I fell down.

My worst injury is one that I'm still currently recovering from,

back in November I was running across a road (since I got the wrong bus and I was trying to get home) and on the last lane (out of 8) I got hit by a car, fell to the ground, tried to get up, fell back down, and later found out I broke my tibia and fibia, to the point of fracture,

Always cross at lights,

or just across small roads, or with fair few people crossing

Seriously, try to cross at lights

  • 2 weeks later...

I nearly lost my left middle finger to a table saw once. That was scary, but it honestly didn't hurt all that much. I think I was in shock the entire way to the hospital, where they numbed my finger, so I never felt what probably should have been the worst pain I've ever experienced.

  • 2 months later...

I’ve never broken anything really but the most pain I’ve been in was when we were moving stuff out of our storage unit into our new house and the door got stuck on something so I had to crawl under the door and get it unstuck so my dad opened the door and his welding tank fell and crushed my hand it worst part was that my hand wasn’t even flat it was sideways so *PAIN INTENSIFIES*

  • Head slammed into the door by accident (that hurts a lot)
  • Jammed my wrist into a car door while trying to close it (hurts a lot more, in stages)
  • Car wheel drove through my foot at 5 miles per hour (minor inconvenience)
