Um yes..I'd like two Big Mac (hold the mayo), large fries and a large soft drinks. And yes...pies. Gonna love 'em pies.

*ahem oh? this isn't for  placing an order? Okay...

 

So which position do you prefer to work and prefer not to work in?

How do you feel about McDonald's putting a mechanical, assembly-line fashion towards producing that which is intended for people to eat, for the sole purpose of making more food fast, and transferablyy, more money faster?

Firstly, I’d like to thank everypony for commenting! I wasn’t expecting this many replies.

@Venomous after seeing how food is made (I regularly cook the food in fact) I do not eat a lot of the food, but a few I still like.

@Twilight Luna @Quinch the worst customer I have ever heard of us having was from a story from my manager. He said that he was requested up front at “front counter.” The customer was threatening him specifically because he got something wrong in his order. So he was barred from the restaurant lobby. 

For the best customer, I can’t really think of someone. Lots of people are nice :)

@TBD more often than not, I work “back wall” and “grill” which is the fried chicken and fish area, and the meat grill. Everyone seems to hate it, but I find a sense of safety knowing where everything is. I do like the table position where you add the bun and box the back wall foods. 

I prefer not to work any of the postitions where I have to talk to people. Front counter, driveway, etc. 

@Snow le Canard for a while, minors were paid $8.25 at McDonald’s, but about 6-7 months ago we raised it to $9.50 because of competing restaurants pays for minors. For a 17 year old, I’m fine with my pay.

@Altastrofae I've actually explained to a lot of my coworkers that one day, all of us would be replaced with machines. As McDonald’s would do anything to make food faster and make more money. I understand most fast food places will soon become that.

I know people almost always buy nuggets every second. Another good bestseller would be something like a double cheese or a mcchicken. Back when Glazed Tenders were a thing, those sold faster than we could make tenders.

I've not heard of this. I didn't know the words were trademarked. Though my opinion on it is positive if it meant we could have Big Mac the farm pony.

I always thought that was more of a meme than anything else. I've only seen it broken once in the time I've worked there. I remember, when it was a meme, people would always ask if it was broken.

Our location stopped selling 2 piece tenders, but employees can still buy it. If you mean upcoming foods, in my first blog post, I leaked the food item coming out later this month.
