If you create a tulpa with a trait that they could only act if they were corporeal [in my case, playing pranks.], and then you learn that, no, tulpas can't become corporeal, will that trait be redundant and no longer apply? Or will it be expressed some other way?

[Are there any guides written by tulpas, for tulpas, or by tulpas, for hosts or would-be-hosts? I mean, I know there are guides written by hosts, but...a lot of 'em seem to dismiss the tulpa's side of the experience *shrug*.]

I said that I was writing a song about debunking misconceptions of mental conditions, and asked if I should mention tulpas in it. You said that I should.

I just had a dream about an evil creature that looked like the character one of my tulpas is based on. When I woke up, I asked this tulpa if I had this dream because she felt neglected. She said that she didn't, but between several days ago and today, she'd told me twice that she wanted to hang out, using the same sad voice as the character she looks like.

 

Nina: *facepaw* I said I'm fine.

 

Me: Wait, really?

 

Nina: Yeah, really.

 

Me: Did I mess up?

 

Nina: No, but...you're kind of obsessing about that dream. It's a dream.

You know being a cat feels weird in the wonderland...

 

cherry turned me into a cat in the wonderland (my avatar) and yeah.. cat things happened.. even if i changed back to my normal avatar she still keep changing me back into a cat >.< feels very weird though..i dunno.. my avatar body just reacts to everything like a cat.. can't resist the yarn though DX. It seems that your behavio can be influence depending on what avatar you have. That 's why cherry myrtle and summer prefer their pony form than their human form because they feel very different... Mostly more emotional, that's what they told me..

{Well, I've recently changed to...hang on *shapeshifts from a stallion pegasus into a catboy version of Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist* This. My host is working on a top-secret DIY thingy, and I'm trying to help out. Personality changes are...well, I haven't noticed much, actually. I've gone back to being more pervish/sensual, but I think all or most catboys are, at least stereotypically. If there are any differences, they could be me discovering stuff about myself.}

I generally try to sleep whenever Flinch does, but I try to fit it in from midnight to 6. It isn't really the type of sleep Flinch or you might know of, but more of a 6-hour spaceout. Flinch has done this before, and it's real relaxing. Feels just like sleep.

What's your opinion of the New Age idea of tulpas being physical manifestations of thoughts?

 

[Personally, my host bought into it early on--it never happened. I guess that's why I don't like New Age stuff.]

I'm thinking of writing a few songs, not just one about mental conditions (actually, this last one's only about healthy multiplicity), all sung by Keystroke and Rainbow Dash. There will also be two short videos starring all of my tulpas (all of whom will be in disguises, but sound like themselves).

Does anypony know if this is legal?

This is his tulpa speaking and what I'm really asking for is what might be happening to the "host personality." It feels like he's fading away. This concerns me terribly and I need to know what's going on.

 

As for how I can describe it... it's as if he is doubting his own existence. The state he is in right now is that of lost will. It's as if his will has become too weak to want to exist... Is it really possible for his ego to perish?

I've had moments where Fluttershy would have more control over my body than me but I've never heard of something like that happening. How long ago has it been since this started

I am fascinated by the concept of tulpa's and I love to hear about other people's tulpa's. But there is no way in hell I would ever create one. It just wouldn't feel right for me.
