Bumped into one just hard enough for it to crack the area below the light housing. It ran off. Pesky thing owes me a few hundred to fix.

I haven’t personally hit a deer, but twice I’ve been in a vehicle that has. We crashed through several of the poor things while in a moving truck on an icy road (glad we opted for the insurance, it was pretty bad) and the other was in my dad’s van. He hit a deer while driving out to help my brother who was having car trouble out in the middle of nowhere. Scary business, and it really messes with you when a beautiful creature has to pay the ultimate price.

If I ever hit a deer with my tiny little Smart car, the deer might me mildy annoyed, but the car would be totalled.

Fortunately, I have not hit a deer with my car. I have encountered deer on the roads, but I spotted them in time to avoid hitting them.

no, but my dad hit a massive hog on the way home from work one time. he refused to wash the blood off of his truck, he kept it on there and let it dry, it was like some sort of weird trophy to him.
