This is like a feast for all of Finn's little senses. He watches the display with awe, reaching up but daring not to actually touch. Hearing Thundy and Chelsea are hybrids is also very amazing! But hearing Dynamo and Shadow talk about these other Wonderbolts confuses him. "I never heard'a any..." He cuts himself off, rubs the back of his head, then casually looks away. "I mean... I guess they're okay. I think I'll just stick to the toy, thanks." Finn says.

Meanwhile, Trilby seems a little confused at Dynamo's comment. "Competition? ...The Wonderbolts are making hats now? I mean, I know they sell promotional clothing and other such items, but I thought that was limited to ballcaps and t-shirts." Trilby tries to figure out which Wonderbolt might be interesting in going into the clothing business. But then Dynamo asks his real question. "Pastel? The little pink one? You mean the one that keeps calling me a toilet paper salesman? Not that I appreciate it or anything... Yeah, I've seen her showing a certain attraction to you. I just thought the two of you had a big-brother/little-sister dynamic going on. Is there trouble in paradise? I'm surprised she's not with you right now."

"That's understandable. We've all spent time with others in town, so maybe there might have not been time to notice. It's the same for the game world as you were with the side quest team, while Pastel and I were on the battle team. So, there might not have been time to notice." Dynamo responds with an understanding nod. Hearing Thundy's response, Dynamo turned to him with a surprised expression. He wasn't expecting to hear that from the griffon. As Trilby had mentioned about competition, Dynamo chuckled slightly as he shook his head. "Actually, never mind. Forget I said anything on that subject matter. I'm actually not sure if the Wonderbolts make ball caps and/or t-shirts." He wasn't sure if Trilby had understood his joke or not, but he didn't want to cause any confusion or issues. In a way, Back on the subject of Pastel, Dynamo nodded at Trilby's assumption. "I thought that way too. In a way, I'd see her like she was a sister and I'd be like a big brother. However, some things had happened in the past couple of days. When her grandfather had visited town, he told me that he had approved of me and told me to take care of her. It doesn't help that there was a moment where...well, you know..." Dynamo fidgeted in his seat as he tried to find the right words to say. "S-She and I a-accidentally k-k-kissed." He muttered softly in case someone asks what he had previously said.

Thundy's keen ears had caught Dynamo's mutters. Thundy leaned in very close to Dynamo. "Pastel is still quite young. She sees it as love, but take it as the fun type of love. Back in my world when I was in elementary school, it happened all the time. There was this fun type of love between certain boys and girls. Take it as this Dynamo. It will take some time to understand, but I hope you do for Pastel's sake." Thundy said very softly.

Shadow stared at Thundy as if he's a weirdo before turning to Finn, her immature mouth speaking “What Thundy and Dynamo are talking about is...” however, as if a cat caught her tongue, words did not form, finally remembering this is a Rated E/T roleplay. Shadow quickly gave up and decided to listen to the conversation once more.

After getting her order, Sundae sat 6 tables away from the group, carefully observing them.

Pencil sat quietly for a moment, unsure of what to say. The accidental kiss Dynamo mentioned did seem really awkward. She was unsure of what to say to that since it was quite an unusual situation. However, the kiss was an accident, so it probably shouldn’t be taken too seriously. Hoping to lift Dynamo’s spirits a bit, she finally replied,

“Well, you did say it was accidental, so I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Maybe talk to Pastel when you get the chance and see what she feels about it, though. If she’s embarrassed or anything, you can just explain to her that you didn’t mean for it to happen,”

Trilby was rather shocked and confused. "To be honest, Dynamo, this is not what I thought you wanted to talk about. I was afraid something urgent happened in the video game world, something that concerned some of us. You really had me worried there for a moment... As for this? I pretty much agree with Thundy. Young love is a pure, innocent thing. You should be honored that Pastel is so comfortable around you and thinks so highly of you. One day, she might grow up and develop feelings for someone else, or she might not. Even if she does, wouldn't it be nice if you're still that special friend she can always confide in and turn to when she needs help?" Trilby asks.

"Video game world?" Finn asks. Oh yeah, almost forgot the little kid was here. Trilby clears his throat. "Well, that's all I have to say about it. I'm probably not the right pony to ask about it anyways."

Thundy decided not to say anything about the videogame world for Finn's sake. Chelsea looked at Finn. "Yea, there are so many Wonderbolts. I really only know the names of four of them: Spitfire, Soarin', Fleetfoot and Rapidfire." She counted off on her talons.

Dynamo's eyes shrank in fear as the others had heard his earlier mutter. "You guys heard that?" He sighed as his face had fallen sideways onto the table. A loud thud could easily been heard, but thankfully none of the groups food had fallen off of the table. "Ow." He muttered, lifting his head up and rubbing the sore spot on his face. "Note to self. Never doing that again." He would say, before continuing. "I mean, I guess it can be seen as a crush and all. It's just...I'm just not sure what to do. I don't really know much when it comes to love, or at least a relationship. Not after..." He stopped himself as he almost went back towards a painful memory. He sat their staring off into space, while looking forward. Blinking his eyes a couple of times to draw him back into reality, he shook his head. "...n-never mind. It just doesn't help about what her grandfather had said. Since he basically gave me his blessings in regards for Pastel. I guess talking to her about it is a good idea. I just hope everything will be okay."

Dynamo turned his head towards Trilby, while giving the stallion an apologetic look. "I'm really sorry Trilby. To me, I felt this was urgent to talk about. I thought it would make sense since you and Shadow are in a relationship. I didn't know if this was something of a crush, or if it was something more. I mean, if it's a crush, then I can see it would maybe fade in time. What if it was more than that, though? W-What would I say? W-What would I do? I mean, would a relationship like that even work or even be possible?" He was asking so many questions rapid fire, he felt himself starting to hyperventilate. He was shaking as he was starting to worry. He closed his eyes to try and take a deep breath, before letting out a long sigh. "I-I'm sorry, you guys. I'm just worried on what to do. I know that I would always want to be there for her no matter what. So, I do agree on wanting to be that special friend." He says with a soft smile. 

Upon hearing Finn's question, Dynamo turned to the colt with a nod. "It's a long story and it might sound crazy, but the whole town got trapped in a video game. So, it's sort of like we were sent into a video game world." He explained, before the mention of something happening in the video game world. "Actually, I did want to let you know on something, Trilby." He started, before pulling the belt out of his saddlebag for the others to see.

"When we got out of the game, it seemed as if this was attached to my waist. I remember using a different belt, but I think it transformed, or changed. Can you make heads or tails of what this is?" He asks, wanting to see what the others thought of it.

Pencil didn’t say anything for Dynamo’s sake, but this conversation was getting uncomfortable. She didn’t understand how Dynamo could take romance out of what was most likely just an innocent crush moment. However, based on how panicked Dynamo seemed, she understood why something like this would be complicated for him. Still, she hoped nothing harmful would come out of the situation once Pastel was truly involved. She trusted Dynamo, but she also felt a bit protective of Pastel’s feelings since she wasn’t sure what they were yet.

Since Pencil was unable to add anything useful to the discussion, she pushed her chair back and excused herself from the table. She levitated her trash and deposited it into the bin over by the front door. Once that was finished, she sat back down quietly and attempted to listen to the rest of the dialogue. She was tempted to begin coloring her Wonderbolt drawing from earlier, but she wanted to be respectful and listen in case something else important in the discussion came up.

Thundy was doubtful about Finn knowing about the belt around Dynamo’s waist. He gathered some electricity and made his Carolina Panthers jersey appear on him. It had the number 4 on it with the name “Thundy” in the back.

Chelsea looked at Pencil, and gathered some water energy. She formed a 3d figure of Pencil herself from water, and it softly landed on the table. The little water replica of Pencil looked at Pencil and walked towards her. “Heh, now you got a little water version of you.” She said.

Pencil jumped as a little water version of herself trotted near her, courtesy of Chelsea. It was rather strange to see a tiny water version of herself standing right in front of her, but she had to admit it was also a little cute. Tentatively, she reached out to touch it, only to recoil again. It was too weird right now to touch it. Plus, she was worried the water Pencil would burst from any sort of contact.

“U-uh, t-thanks, Chelsea,” she stuttered, unsure whether she should laugh or cry. The water Pencil was humorous, and that was probably the intention, but real Pencil was still a bit weirded out by it at the same time.

"It's okay Pencil, your little water version won't break if you touch it. It just feels watery." Chelsea stated, beckoning Pencil to touch the little water version of herself. "It only disappears if I decide to make it disappear." Chelsea added.

Finn was glad that the others were trying to talk to him about other things. This conversation about love was boring him. Not that talking about Wonderbolts was any better. "Thanks for teachin' me, but... Do any of you know any science lessons? I like science~! My teacher says I have the BEST grades in class! That's kinda why I'm here in this strange town. Science reasons." Finn says. Although, if Nopony still has a talent for sensing magic, that reason won't be enough to convince him.

Hearing why Dynamo wanted Trilby's insight finally made sense. "Oh, is that why you wanted my help?" Trilby smiles somewhat sympathetically, though mostly amused. "Dude, I'm not a love guru. I'm flattered you think so highly of me, but to be honest... Shadow's my first marefriend. I was surprised she agreed to it so fast. I've been rejected a few times." Trilby takes a moment to feel his cheek, recalling a few slaps he got in the past. "Anyways, I'm still learning the ropes myself. My best advice is to just let things happen and addressing things as they come. You don't have to be prepared for every eventuality. You can't plan for life or love. Just give yourself the freedom to go on this path of discovery. It's an adventure you should be thrilled about!" Trilby drinks his orange juice and finishes it. "The only thing you need to do right now is decide how you feel about Pastel, and give Pastel the freedom to decide how she feels about you. If you care about her deeply, the rest should become obvious. If not, then try to let her down gently, and let her know that you'll always be her friend. That is, if you still want to be her friend. Getting scared or running away won't make things better."

As Dynamo showed Trilby the belt, Finn also couldn't help but look at it too. "...Heh. Wish I was a magic scholar or something. Can't help you there, Dynamo. I'm just a hat and clothing maker. I've never seen anything like that in my entire life." Trilby says. Finn reaches out to touch it. "Cool~ It's like something from Power Ponies! Can I try it on? Please, Mr. Dynamo? I'll be careful, I promise!"

Apparently, the little water Pencil was not as fragile as real Pencil thought. In fact, Chelsea encouraged real Pencil to touch it. Real Pencil hesitated again, now worried that she might scare the water pony. The water pony seemed completely content, however, so there was nothing to worry about. Taking a deep breath, real Pencil lightly touched water Pencil.

“Eeeh!” Real Pencil giggled. Like Chelsea had said, water Pencil felt, well, watery, but she also felt similar to what hair being rubbed up against a balloon would feel like.

The buzzing feeling made real Pencil very ticklish and giddy, a stark contrast to the discomforted way she felt earlier. Water Pencil smiled and shook in a way to suggest she was giggling as well. Real Pencil touched water Pencil again, only this time she felt a smooth, cool texture greeting her hoof. The sensation was very relaxing.

“Thanks for the little water gift, Chelsea. Water Pencil is very fun to play with once you get used to her,” Real Pencil thanked Chelsea.

Upon hearing the mention of science, Dynamo smiled. "I don't know if I'll be able to help, but I did like science class when I was in school. I always liked the different science experiments that my class and I performed." He would say, before turning his attention over towards Trilby, who had gave his two cents. "I guess I can see what you mean when you were mentioning about the whole love guru. I actually didn't know that Shadow was your first marefriend." He says, a look of surprise was present upon his face. Hearing his explanation, Dynamo took a bite of his food. Trying to process the thoughts as he took a sip of his beverage. "I think I get what you mean. I mean, I like Pastel-chan. I just didn't know if it's wrong in a way. I suppose it's better to see how everything goes. It's like you had said before. I can't prepare for every single moment or outcome. I just need to take it a day at a time and see how things go for both Pastel and I. All I can say is that she's a great friend and I want to have her in my life. Just like I want to have my other friends still here in my life, as well." He smiles, looking over at each of his friends he's come to know since his time here in town. He blinked in surprise as he heard Finn's question, while taking note of the young colt trying to touch the belt. "Hmm." He hummed in thought with an unsure expression on his face. "I mean, don't get me wrong. I wouldn't mind if you wanted to try the belt on, Finn. It's just that I'm not really sure what this belt does all that much. It might be pretty dangerous. What do you think guys? Do you think it might be okay for Finn to try?" He asks, wanting to see what the others think.

Pencil turned her attention over towards Dynamo for a second. He had asked everypony if Finn should try on his belt from the video game world. Pencil would have agreed right away had she not known the belt could be magical. Now, she was unsure if the colt should even be touching something that could be dangerous.

“Hmm, maybe he shouldn’t use it, Dynamo. If you said it could be dangerous, I don’t want him to get hurt,” she told Dynamo.

Despite sitting with Finn on his table, Shadow overheard Dynamo mention about her and Trilby's relationship and also he was his first marefriend. She kindly flushed in romantic shyness, she put her head on Finn's table, but that emotion is only temporary, when she noticed Finn messing around with Dynamo's belt, ahe looked at the special-looking item with awe and caution. She stood up, went up to Dynamo and whispers to him “Um, no offense, but I think we should let a foal like a him touch a... Thing like that without any knowledge of its capability” she told him. She glanced back at Finn, her eyes locked on his hooves and the belt, as if a wrong touch could cause the item to go boom and rock the entire restaurant to the ground. She did not want everyone and herself met a terrible fate.

“Thanks, Tree Song,” Pencil told Tree Song after she complimented her Soarin drawing.

She was glad to know that ponies appreciated her sketches sometimes, too. Pencil wished she could work for someone here rather than for her very picky commissioner. However, like she had to constantly remind herself, the pay would be really good if she succeeded. That was all that mattered going forward.

Suddenly, water Pencil climbed up real Pencil’s mane, shivering in fright. Real Pencil wasn’t sure exactly what had upset her. Was it something she did. Real Pencil turned to Chelsea in hopes that she would have a decent explanation.

“Hey, Chelsea, what’s wrong with water Pencil? Why’s she so scared all of a sudden?” Real Pencil asked nervously.

“I think she heard about Finn wanting to try on Dynamo’s belt, what doesn’t seem like a good idea. Thundy thinks Dynamo should let Finn try his belt on just to make him happy, but that means we all have to keep an eye on him.” Chelsea said. The water version of Pencil plopped itself on Pencil’s shoulder, still quivering a little.

Dynamo blinked as Shadow had went up to him to whisper into his ear. He glanced towards the mare, before nodding at her advice. He glanced over to Pencil, who had also gave her word of warning. "I might have to decline. I'm really sorry about that, Finn. It's nothing personal or anything, but I'm still trying to figure out what this belt is capable of. Once I can figure it out and if it's safe, then I'll gladly let you give the belt a try." He would say, before continuing to eat his breakfast. He watched as a water version of Pencil had been made, before watching the replica jumping into her mane. "It's a good thing the water Pencil is mini. Otherwise, I feel like I'd be seeing double." He chuckled, before turning his attention to Thundy. Upon hearing the male griffon give the go ahead with letting Finn use the belt. Dynamo gave an uneasy look to Thundy. "I don't know. I mean, that's the problem, Thundy. I don't even know what this belt even does. All it says is the what appears to be the name of the belt that's on the belt. So, you're guess is as good as mine on knowing how to use it." He would say, before shaking his head. "I'm sorry Thundy, but I'm with the others on this one. It's like I said before. I don't know much about how the belt works." He sighed in slight frustration, before looking back at the belt in question. "The belt I used in the game world is very different from the belt I've got now. That belt allowed me to combine some mechanical parts to allow me to become stronger. Plus, I don't know if the same rules would apply with the real world. Especially if the belt is different from the one before." He tried to explain, while trying to make heads or tails of the contraption.
