Kaiser’s eyes widened as Thundy zoomed at light speed. Suddenly, his Vessel was sent flying in different directions, flinging him around in a similar fashion.

I wont lose, Kaiser muttered before shouting, I REFUSE TO YIELD!!! GET UP, VESSEL!!! Kiaser gave Kronos a huge amount of energy to get him back up. SHOW HIM!! SHOW THEM ALL THE TRUE POWER OF OUR WILLPOWER!!!!

Suddenly, Kronos springs back up to life as if renewed with vigor for another fight. He comes back to and sees Thundy in his new appearance.

“So,” Kronos commented, “You finally found your own self enlightenment. Good on you, dude. Now, LET’S FINISH THIS FIGHT RIGHT!” He drew his zweihander out from the ground and drew out his odachi again. He proceeded to split his arms apart again and this time drew out a giant buster sword of his own and a massive claymore. Kronos proceeded to swing his four monstrous swords with expert skill and dexterity.

This was it, this is the final moment of the fight. Who will reign on top? Kronos just itching to fight? Or a newly powered up Thundy? This whole match can be decided in one decisive strike.

“W-well, I definitely see your point there. What I was thinking was, Alhimar, if someone was to go on this journey to fix a part of themselves and came up with nothing, then they would have spent so much time obsessing over something they could have just accepted. Of course, I’m sure this doesn’t account for all things like, let’s say, a terminal disease. I’m only hesitant in Bluebell’s case because while her stuttering is an unfortunate thing to have, it isn’t threatening her life.” Pencil responded to Alhimar, clarifying her stance. It seemed that he would keep to his opinions, however, especially since his were so similar to Sparkly’s. Pencil made no further comment but held to her own viewpoint.

“Yes! You must seize what is meant for you and become your best self! That is the only true way to live. You mustn’t hold back or surrender to fear as it only holds you back from all you can be,” Sparkly responded to Alhimar’s statement with a fierce glow in her eyes. “Oh, I most definitely embrace my high level of intellect. I will never let anyone take it away from me, especially not after I have finally revealed my true self. I feel free, the freest I can ever feel. I can only continue to feel this way if I keep learning and growing stronger, but I will of course keep it in moderation as you said.

I will do my upmost to keep Pencil Pouch protected. She is a good friend of mine and she still has much yet to learn. I also believe you have much to learn as well, and with our combined knowledge, we can do many good things so long as we continually give it our all.”

@Courageous Thunder Dash @Kronos the Revenant

Pencil and Sparkly were momentarily distracted by what could only be described as a divine transformation. A series of blinding white and red lights emitted from Thundy, surrounding him in calm but powerful pulses of magic. Sparkly could sense something stirring within his conscious. Pencil’s eyes darted around in fascination, soaking up the breathtaking colors that bathed the arena.

Once the lights dissipated and Thundy was in a more clear view, he appeared to have transformed. Pencil could only guess it had something to do with the griffon’s heart. She leaned over to whisper to Chelsea.

“Did Thundy do it? Did he finally purify his heart?”

Thundy saw as Kronos got up with the help of Kaiser. "It ends here." Thundy said trapping Kronos in a god bind. He then lunged towards Kronos with the ultima weapon in his right talon...and fired a point blank god aura sphere that nailed Kronos right in his chest. Thundy backflipped away and clipped the ultima weapon to the back of his jersey, which had been fully repaired during his transformation.

Kronos was still in a bind that Thundy placed on him. Suddenly, his body began to electrocute itself. Kronos began to yell in pain. Then, his spirits came out.

OUR VESSEL!!!

MAKE IT STOP!!!

IT HURTS!!!

NEVER BACK DOWN!! NEVER SURRENDER!!

KAISER, WE HAVE TO YIELD!!!

NEVER, I’D RATHER PERISH THAN SURRENDER TO THE LIKES OF A BIRD!!!

KAISER, IF WE DONT YIELD, KRONOS WILL PERISH ALONG WITH THE REST OF US!!!

Kaiser looked to the other spirits, then to Kronos, who was taking the brunt of the pain. Something suddenly clicked in Kaiser’s head.

If we lose him, Kaiser said, We lose each other. Very well. In the centuries I’ve been in combat, I never thought I’d have to utter these words.

I…..Kaiser hesitated, We yield to you, Thundy. Victory is yours. Kaiser began to kneel in resignation in front of Thundy, and the rest of the spirits followed.

Once Tribly used his magic, the cape magically changed colors to become red with a blue trim. Dynamo smiled, before turning to Samurai with a nod. "I'm doing okay, Onii-san. Just feeling a little sore, but I'm okay. I don't think Bluebell and I are forcing ourselves. We rested for a little while, before we left the hospital. We were on our way back to Bluebell's place, but she wanted to check out the tournament some more. I'm glad we were able to make it to cheer you guys on." He explains, listening intently on Alhimar's recollection of his past. All the while, giving his thoughts on the match between Kronos and Thundy. "I guess I can see what you're trying to say about wanting Kronos to win. However, I'd still root for both as Kronos and Thundy are giving it their all." He says, nodding in agreement to Sparkly and Pencil, who had both joined in on the conversation. "I and the others have seen Kronos' spirits once or twice, but they are pretty cool. Along with his armor and weaponry, he can make some interesting fighting styles. I do wonder about his metal body, as well, Sparkly. If it's true that his metal body prevents him from feeling much damage, then I wonder if it's true on the opposite. Where you don't feel the damage, but it stacks up over time. He would probably feel the damage to where his movements are slowed, but that's just a guess. Either way, it seems like both sides are just about evenly matched in this fight."

Upon Alhimar mentioning that he could make a cure for Bluebell's stuttering, Dynamo raised an eyebrow in confusion. Even as he was listening to Sparkly's and Pencil's thoughts on the topic, Dynamo still wondered why Alhimar would bring that up. If he was being honest, he thought Bluebell was fine as she was. As the bespectacled mare gave her thoughts, Dynamo placed a gentle, yet comforting hoof upon hers. A way to show that he supported her decision all the way. As he listened to Alhimar's thoughts on what Bluebell had previously said, he looked concerned as he thought he saw the zebra's eyes narrow slightly. "I think I understand what Bluebell is trying to say. I get that you could fix everything that's wrong about someone or something, but it doesn't feel like it's truly fixed. It's only through acceptance that everything can be fixed. Since you can't just change who you are. There's always something that you might not like about yourself, but that thing makes up who you are. I mean, take a look at my horn." He explained, his eyes glancing up to said horn on his forehead. "It's not like a normal unicorn horn and I always thought it was a birth defect. I could have asked to have it fixed, but I've learned things I might not have known before. I know what I said might not fit with what's being discussed, but in a way, I understand how Bluebell feels. In the end, it's better to be who you are instead of what you're not."

As the fight picked back up, Dynamo gently wrapped his forearm around her shoulder. He didn't blame her after what he had gone through in his fight with Lighting Dust. He wanted to let her know that everything would be okay and that he was here for her. Even as Thundy turned up his strength and energy, it seemed as if Kronos was keeping up. All the while, turning up his strength and energy with the power of his spirts. The gaming unicorn was surprised as Kronos was strong enough to send Thundy out of his current form. Even as he lied upon the floor, Dynamo had thought he had seen a faint, while glow surrounding the griffon. As the aura began to glow brightly, Dynamo squinted his eyes slightly as the light had overtaken the arena. With the light beginning to dim, Dynamo opened his eyes to see that Thudny had changed in appearance with his hair color, before noticing the weapon in Thundy's talons. "The Ultima Weapon? W-What's going on? What happened to Thundy?" He asks, wondering how such a change in appearance had taken place. As the final stretch of the fight drew near, it looked like Thundy was able to overcome the might of Kronos and his four spirits. Watching as Kaiser and the others spirits yield by bowing before Thundy had caused Dynamo to gasp. That could only mean one thing. "D-Did he do it? Did bro actually win?" He asks, hoping that the others had been thinking like he did.

Starlight gets another look around before following Opai to their next destination. "So Opia, would you mind telling me more about yourself? Since I am new here, might as well get to know at least one citizen better." She asks, interested.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

@Starforce, @ExplosionMare, @Kronos the Revenant, @Courageous Thunder Dash, @Dynamo Pad, @Ragland Tiger

In the stands,

Samurai is glad Dynamo and Bluebell are okay. He nods when Alhimar confirms that he is an alchemist. "Then you should know what I'm talking about. Even you should agree that advancing your science is more important than the fights themselves." As Samurai says this, he overhears Sparkly mention something. "Aiming to be your best self is indeed the best way to live. However, I find that life is full of possible ways to get there. It's not always one straight and simple pathway." Samurai says.

However, someone else was paying attention to all these conversations; Trilby. He couldn't help but be inspired by Bluebell's confidence and bravery, so much so that her question snaps him out of his sudden trance. "Oh, how much? ... Not a single cent. Forget about it. Your money's no good to me. Just be sure to tell everyone you meet that I run the best hat and clothing store in town. I'd rather take the free promotion. Hopefully I'll get even more customers in the future." Trilby nods.

As the fight intensifies, Samurai suddenly stands and yells out "GO KRONOS-SAN!! GO THUNDY-NIISAN!! I BELIEVE IN THE BOTH OF YOU!!!" Samurai calls out. "Uhh... Yeah!! Go, go, go!! Win, either one of you!! This match is amazing!!" Trilby yells as well, but not as loud, a little intimidated. Not just because Samurai is yelling, but because the whole crowd is cheering whenever they can. This is an impressive fight! At one point, Kronos pulls out some kind of buster sword. "Wait... Is that mine?! The same one I lent him?! No, I think it's a different buster sword. Kakkoii!" Samurai says.

But then, suddenly it stops. "Is it over? Did Thundy just win?!" Trilby asks. "Uhh... Hai! I think Thundy-niisan just won!" Samurai says, waiting for the tournament judges to make the final call.

In the arena,

"It seems Thundy is taking on another powerful transformation and really bearing a thrashing down on Kronos!." Elusive commentates. Straightaway coughs a bit, but then chimes in. "He seems to be taking it stride, but more importantly... Kronos seems to have a few tricks up his sleeves. Not sure what I'm seeing, but it looks like he is housing many powerful spirits within him." He adds. "And with this new form, it would seem Kronos may have very well seized victory... Fighter Thundy is down and out! And if he doesn't get up soon, we'll have to start a countdown." Mayor White says. For a moment, it is just a matter of waiting. Tournament staff begin to look at the judges, waiting for said countdown. "Well then... Wait! What's this?! Thundy is rising up yet again! And displaying a completely new power!" Mayor White changes his tune with Thundy gets his second wind. "Not only that, but with a new form comes a new weapon. These fighters are both armed and ready! It's getting hard to fully understand this battle unfolding before us." Elusive adds.

"This battle is truly intensifying. Neither fighter is letting up for an instant!" Mayor White commentates. "Everypony, cover your eyes!" Elusive says seconds before Thundy fires off his finishing attack. It's quite the intense show that leaves even the judges silent for a moment. But then, as the attack clears, they hear something. "Did... Did I hear correctly? Did Kronos just surrender?" Straightaway asks. "It's no trick. I heard it too. And if Kronos is admitting defeat, then that means..." Elusive waits and watches to see if this is a trick, a false declaration to get Thundy's guard down. But no such trick seems to come. "...It means the Friendshire Grand Fighting Tournament is officially over! Thundy is the champion!" Mayor White declares.

With a nod from one of the judges, a tournament staff member sets off some fire works. As they go blazing into the bronzed evening sky, the remaining staff no longer become security. Instead, they magically summon instruments and become a full on orchestra, playing a celebratory victory march.

As staffers join the fighters on the arena, pair help Kronos up and make sure that he is okay. Another pair of staffers put a gold cloak over Thundy's shoulders. Finally, Elusive steps up with a trophy, with Thundy's name magically inscribed on the bottom. She hands it to him then speaks into her mic. "Fillies and gentlecolts, your tournament grand champion, the strongest in all of Friendshire! Thundy, you did it. Any final words to the adoring public about your victory? What will you do now that you've won?" Elusive asks and lets him answer.

Thundy took a deep sigh. "This journey...all started when I was what was known as a human...just an ordinary day. I was on my way home from a friends' house when it started to rain...and then thunder. All of a sudden...I was struck by lightning...and turned into what you see now. Sadly, my parents almost abandoned me and in addtion to that...they said some hurtful things, which lingered all through out my life...which resulted in me having an impure heart...but to win this match...I had to let go of it all. It was tough...but look at me now." Thundy said spreading his wings, putting the trophy on the ground and slowly spinning around in a 360 circle, showing his new form. "...It was tough, but I knew I had to do it...I couldn't have done it alone. My closest friend Chelsea has a pure heart, and yes, she has had a very hard life, as I am a witness and so are all my friends here. But if you really want to know how I feel right now? I feel free...like nothing is weighing me down...and that could only mean one thing..." Thundy said starting to choke up on his words, putting his right talon on his heart, letting out a few sniffles, before walking over to Kronos, and taking him by the hoof...still trying to hold back his emotions. A power stirred within Thundy as the red Super Saiyan god aura flared. The ground began to shake and what seemed like a rock structure from an African region rose from the ground.

maxresdefault.jpg

The music from the speakers changed into that of someone rising up as king, who overcame it all in battle and arose as a new being.

Thundy slowly ascended the rock, his aura shining like the sun. Thundy reached the edge of the rock and looked up, taking a deep breath. Then...Thundy unleashed by far the loudest and most powerful roar that he has ever done in his whole life...so loud and so powerful that the whole town of Friendshire could hear...and beyond.

After the roar, Thundy stood upon the edge of the rock, like a hero, looking around, from Dynamo, to Pencil and the others...and then back to Kronos and Elusive as the red SSG aura continued to flare.

Chelsea was standing up, her locks of hair shining a pure blue.

Sparkly and Pencil, though surprised by the outcome of the tournament, were glad that Thundy was able to achieve getting his pure heart at last. It felt like something really good came out of this fight as opposed to the majority of them, which only stirred chaos. The two mares simply sat and listened for a while, absorbing their atmosphere. For once there was a semblance of peace, which made the two feel relaxed.

Should I try to draw again? Pencil wondered.

She felt somewhat inspired in this moment and did not want that to go to waste. Even though she still had a few doubts about herself, she was going to try something. She slowly pulled out a pencil from her saddlebag and brought it to the last page she worked on. Her focus suddenly shifted when Alhimar announced that he had to leave in a hurry.

“Oh, you’re leaving?” Pencil asked with a sad expression. “Well, I understand. Family obligations are important and if you said you were gonna do something, it’s best not to back out of it.” As soon as those words came out of her mouth, she felt a twinge of irony as she thought about the many times she wanted to give up on her commission.

“You are a very honorable zebra, Alhimar. May you continue to thrive in all that you do in your hometown. Perhaps someday Pencil and I can visit.” Sparkly told him with a friendly smile.

Sparkly took a business card from him with a wing while Pencil held a car in her magic. Sparkly tucked it gently between her feathers while Pencil stored hers in a pocket on her saddlebag. She then took out her contacts book and began to scribble furiously.

“Stand back a minute.” she told everyone nearby.

With as much focus as she could muster, she pictured the black spiral notebook in her mind down to every last detail. She imagined the crisp white pages, the smooth black leather, and the shiny grey coils holding it all together. With a poof, an identical notebook appeared, only instead of multiple clients’ names, it only said “Pencil Pouch” and “Sparkly”. Sparkly didn’t have a book yet but Pencil would make her one later.

“I mainly use this for commissions but it’s an effective method of contact, too. All you have to do is write my name on a page and then write your message. It’ll immediately show up in my book. Don’t worry about running out of pages, I included the instructions for a page duplication spell on the back.” Pencil told Alhimar as she passed him his copy.

Once Alhimar left, Sparkly and Pencil were left with vials. Sparkly could sense that they had something to do with inner strength. She looked at Pencil calmly and said,

“We should take them. I sense they will do great things for our hearts and our minds.”

Pencil hesitantly reached out for her own vial. Before she drank it, she made a brief toast with Sparkly before she gently sipped the fluid. Within her and Sparkly shined great strength, creativity, and courage.

“This potion has me thinking…” Pencil whispered.

Sparkly leaned in carefully to listen better.

“My client wanted me to show him something he’s never seen before, right? Something special and unique. I think…I’m beginning to realize what it is. It isn’t new worlds or advanced magic or anything like that at all. It’s all the unique friends I’ve made in this town. They’re not just unique as in species, they’re unique in personality, kindness, and compassion. I…think I know what to draw now.” Pencil continued to whisper. She felt a deep sense of calm she hadn’t felt in a while. No, not calm, but peace. Peace was beginning to develop in Pencil’s heart. She had not only solved her problem, but she realized why she came to Friendshire in the first place.

“That’s wonderful, Pencil Pouch. Once you finish, I would love to see it before you send it off. I have a feeling it’s going to be one of your best commissions.” Sparkly whispered back.

Pencil smiled at the compliment then quickly stood up. She cleared her throat to get everyone’s attention. She wasn’t very loud, so Sparkly also cleared her throat to make sure everyone heard. Looking around at everyone, Pencil took a quick deep breath before she made her announcement.

“H-hey, there’s something I need to tell you guys. So, uh, the whole reason I was sent here was to make ‘a commission like never seen before’. I struggled for days to figure out what I was supposed to draw and I almost gave up entirely. However, now that I’ve thought of something, I know what I’m supposed to draw.

Each one of you is so special and unique. I’m proud to call you all my friends. I think you guys are what my client was looking for all along. A unique set of friends from all over, united in one small town. Hehe, it’s a bit silly I didn’t come to this realization before, b-but I didn’t have much confidence in myself before. It’s thanks to ponies like Sparkly Green who helped me regain it.

Now that I know what to draw, I must say that I’m no longer needed for. The deal was to find something to draw here then return to my hometown, Sire’s Hollow. I’m gonna miss you guys and I had a lot of fun here, but now it’s time for me to move on. Time to go back home.” she announced proudly.

Pencil looked to everyone one last time then gave them a gentle wave goodbye. She hoisted her saddlebag onto her back then trotted away from the tournament, Sparkly following close behind.

————————————————————

“So, what’re you gonna do?” Pencil asked.

“Why, join you in Sire’s Hollow, of course! I want to see your hometown and learn about your life. I also think a small place such as that one would benefit greatly from my knowledge on Earth.” Sparkly responded.

“Really? That would be…great, actually! Ooh, you would love to meet all my friends! There’s also so many places there I wanna show you! My hometown may be old in some places but it’s slowly developing into something better, too. It’s a strange mix of things right now. It’s pretty fascinating to watch the town grow.” Pencil beamed.

“I can’t wait to see it! Now, how are you coming along on that commission?” Sparkly asked.

Pencil pulled out her sketchbook and showed what she had worked on so far. Only the line work was done but that was because she had to show a preview to her client first. Thankfully, he responded very positively, so Pencil could continue coloring later.

Depicted were all the friends Pencil had met in Friendshire. In one corner, Samurai Equine, Kronos, and Thundy were decorated in their respective armors and forms, thrashing their weapons around and blinding their chunk of the picture in a bright light. On the roads in the background, Dynamo Pad and Bluebell were speeding along in a double-seated racecar, howling in joy while holding onto each other’s hooves. In the right hand corner were a closeup of Trilby Hatter and Elusive Facts. Trilby was waving his merchandise around while Elusive was holding a mic to her mouth, reporting on the latest news. Chelsea was flying up above, creating a floating stream with various aquatic life swimming through.

Lastly were Pencil Pouch and Sparkly green, soaring above the clouds. If one looked closely enough, they could see the mint green powder trailing behind Sparkly, a symbol for shedding her false identity.

“This is wonderful, Pencil, especially over here where we’re flying.” Sparkly commented, pointing to the place where her and Pencil were. “Hey, you know what would be an absolute joy? If you direct me, I could fly you to Sire’s Hollow on my back.”

“F-fly?! I, I don’t know…I’m, um, kinda afraid of heights…” Pencil squeaked.

“Do not be afraid, my friend. I won’t let a single thing happen to you, I promise.” Sparkly responded kindly, bending down so Pencil could hop on.

Pencil gingerly climbed on Sparkly’s back, careful not to sit down too hard or fall off. Once she felt secure enough, she looked to Sparkly to signal her to start flying. With a determined expression, Sparkly hunched down and spread her wings. She galloped to gain spread before slowly, steadily, she prepared herself for takeoff.

Pencil clung onto her for dear life, shutting her eyes tightly. Sparkly made sure to stay low to the ground and to fly at a slow pace so Pencil wouldn’t be so scared. Once Pencil was adjusted to the situation, she dared herself to open her eyes and look around.

Okay, so this isn’t too bad! she reasoned.

She allowed herself to feel the wind flow through her mane and breathed in the sharp, fresh air. Sparkly did the same and giggled as her indigio and silvery mane waved through the air like a flag. Her eyes lit up as she looked to the sky, feeling like she was the most free she could ever be. Pencil looked up and felt a serene since of clarity, realizing all her potential was laid out in front of her—she just had to seize it and make the most use of it possible.

Both mares were at their peak, feeling higher than the distance they were flying in the air. At last, they had finally found themselves.

Reality finished up with making the rough sketch of Thundy's lucario form. Just as he looked up, he saw Thundy on the ground, lying on the ground. He was ready to ask the others what he missed again, but was interrupted when he saw him glowing in a variety of colors before he transformed. The fight continued which ended with the spirts that were inside Kronos bowing before Thundy.

Music began to play as Thundy was awarded with a gold cloak and a trophy by the staff, he gave a speech before a huge rock structure appeared from the ground. Thundy let out the loudest roar Reality has ever heard, more than enough to force the unicorn to cover his ears. Reality just smiled earnestly at Thundy's victory, when Alhimar coughed up a scroll in a similar fashion as Spike and said that he has to leave Friendshire. Soon after he left, Pencil and Sparkly announced that they're leaving as well once Pencil figured out what to draw.

"Oh well, see you later then. Hope your commission comes out well." He waved his hoof back at them before they left the arena.

Chelsea smiled proudly at Thundy "Mom...dad...he did it..." Chelsea said softly to herself with a small sniffle. Suddenly, she heard Ahlimer disappear and then Pencil and Sparkly say their goodbyes. "Awww, I'll miss you so much..." Chelsea said. She quickly made a water version of Sparkly to go along with the water version of Pencil. The water version of Sparkly hopped into the real Sparkly's mane and rested there. She waved to the two as they left Friendshire for the last time. Bingo waved as well.

With Thundy being declared the winner, Dynamo had joined in the crowd as he clapped his front hooves in applause from the fight being displayed. While he wished both fighters could win like in the fight between Samurai and Thundy. He was still happy that there were no hard feelings between the competitors. Even though both sides went a bit extreme at times, he knew that they were just giving it their all. As he listened to Thundy speak, Dynamo frowned as the griffon's words reflected what he had gone through. "I know he told me a bit of what had happened, but I didn't know how bad it truly was. It seems that he too, has suffered and gone through a lot." He sighed as he felt he could understand what Thundy had gone through. His friends could have treated him the same way, but they didn't. Just like how Thundy was able to change, he was able to change too. Once the griffon helped the cyber pony to his hooves, the gaming unicorn blinked as he thought he could see a reddish aura surrounding Thundy. To Dynamo, it looked somewhat familiar, but he couldn't put his hoof on it. He didn't have much time to ponder on such a thought as the ground started to shake. Erupting from the ground was carved into a rock structure of sorts. Witnessing the griffon make his way towards the peak was like watching someone going through the stages of a rebirth. With a mighty roar, Dynamo smiled as he was truly happy for Thundy's change in appearance. Throwing a hoof up, it was as if he was throwing the griffon a hoof bump. "Great job, bro! Great job to you, as well, Kronos! An amazing fight from the both of you!"

As he cheered for his friends, he looked over as his ears perked from the sound of flames and coughing. The source belonging to Alhimar, who had received a letter to return home. "You're leaving Friendshire so soon?" He frowned, knowing that they had just met, while feeling as if he was just getting to know the zebra. Even though he didn't really understand Alhimar, at first. The fact that he helped stand up against Cosmic told the unicorn that Alhimar was okay in his book. "I understand and I can't blame you. If it's important business such as an event, then business beckons. It was still really nice to meet you, Alhimar. I really hope that you'll be able to come back to Friendshire. If there's one thing I know that onii-san would say, then it's that you're always welcomed back here." He says, receiving what looked to be a business card of sorts. Levitating the card, while looking it over, Dynamo nodded with an understanding smile. "It'll be interesting to see you been the leader of Friendshire one day. Thank you for the kind words, Alhimar. I have no doubt that you'll do great things, as well. We'll see you again one day, my friend!" He exclaimed, returning an embrace as he listened to the zebra's last bit of advice. Just before he threw a blue tablet that exploded. Causing Dynamo to cough from the mist as said mist enveloped Alhimar, before the mist dissipated to show that he was gone.

It was then that Dynamo turned to Pencil and Sparkly, who were both announcing that they were about to leave Friendshire, as well. He frowned as more and more of his friends were starting to leave, but he knew that they had their reasons. With another sigh, Dynamo nodded with a soft smile. "I think I remember you mentioning that you were working on commissions. I'm glad that you didn't give up as I was able to meet an amazing friend like you and the others, Pencil." His jaw dropped at the mention that he, as well as the others, would be in her commission. Smiling softly once more, he got up from his seat as he walked over towards the purple mare. Reaching his front forelegs out, he wrapped his arms around Pencil, before pulling her into a hug. "I'm honored to be called your friend, Pencil. Just like I'm thankful and happy to know that you and the others are my true friends. I don't think it's silly that you didn't come to this realization before. I think the old saying goes that it isn't the end result, but the journey to get to that end result. I hope you'll be able to visit Friendshire again. I know we didn't really get to talk all that much, but I know we'll be able to stay in touch. I still have the journal you gave me. The same can be said to you, Sparkly. I know we didn't get a chance to talk much, but I'm really happy to call you my friend." He says, giving Sparkly one last hug, before waving at the retreating duo. Even if more friends were leaving town. He knew that their paths would definitely cross once more.

What an interesting answer "I see... Seems like you still have secrets you're not ready to part with. I can respect it, as long as you aren't hurting anypony, like I use to do in the past... But that's neither here nor there. Life force. I wonder... Can you manipulate mine too?" Starlight asks for more details.

She also hears the distant roar as well and shrugs it off. She also sees fireworks too but ignores it for now. She knows better than to look for trouble where none exists.

Thundy's speech was WAY bigger than anyone expected! "See here! Modifying the arena without permission is...?! Oh, well, I guess that doesn't matter anymore, now does it?" Mayor White shares a laugh with his fellow judges, though Straightaway coughs and reminds White not to make him laugh too much.

"YOSHA!!! Omedetou gozimasu, Thundy-niisan and Kronos-san!! You both should be so proud!!" Samurai cheers for them both. He looks over at Chelsea. She seems to be proud too. "Isn't it great, everyone? We fought hard, defended our pride, gave it our all... And yet, we're all still friends and family at the end of it all." Samurai says to everyone, hoping they will all agree.

Well, that is until there is a sudden parting that no one could have predicted.

"Eh?! You're leaving? Alhimar-san... Pencil-chan... Sparkly-himesama..." Samurai is clearly saddened to see a glorious victory end with a parting as well.
Still, Samurai does his best to put on a brave face for them. He smiles and nods. "Alhimar-san! I want you to know, I consider you my friend. I hope you make more alchemy discoveries, and I hope we can work together again in the future. Come back soon." He puts a hoof on his shoulder as he wishes him farewell.
He turns to Pencil next. "Pencil-chan, I want you to know I still have all the gifts you gave me, and I promise I will send you my next drawing. You have inspired me to keep at it. Just hope you don't mind ukiyo-e style artwork. I hope we'll meet again real soon." Samurai moves in for one last hug with Pencil.
Next, he turns to Sparkly. "Well, we just met earlier today, Sparkly-himesama. I know our initial meeting wasn't ideal, but I hope we can meet again soon so that we can make lots of pleasant memories together. Please take care, and forgive me for any early rudeness."
Finally, he gives all three of them a proper bow as they leave, his head hung low. "Arigato, minna! Saraba! Okiotsukete okaeri kudasai. Until we meet again, have a safe trip."

Seems things are changing, both in good and sad ways.

TIME SKIP!

The tournament is over.

The audience is going home. Fighters that came far and wide are leaving. The evening sun has all ready begun to set in the horizon. Mayor White and the other two judges will be staying behind to help the staff clean up. "...It's true, though. They had to leave, but they were really impressed with your victory, and they wished you the best." Samurai explains to Thundy as he and his many friends leave the tournament grounds. He also turns to Reality. "So now that you're here, what would you like to do most, Reality-san? I can't promise every day will have events like this. The tournament seems to be a one time thing." Samurai explains.

In the not-too-far distance, Starlight sees her friends leaving the tournament grounds. "Dynamo! Bluebell! Everyone!!" She waves them over, but also looks back at Opia. "Hope you don't mind if they join us. It's been a long day for all of us. I can't believe I actually spent all day here."

By now, Nitro and the band have arrived in Friendshire. With the help of some others, they were able to setup the stage and extra stuff. This was going to be no ordinary concert. The stage seemed to be much bigger than normal. In fact, it was big enough to have more than one car drive on it without anypony getting hurt! Nitro and his band were in the back preparing and waiting for Thundy and Chelsea.

Meanwhile, as Thundy and Chelsea reunited, Thundy’s phone rang. Nitro called and said that they were just about done setting up. He said he would be right there but had to do one thing. Thundy gathered some electricity and made a real pokeball appear. In that pokeball…was a real Alolan Vulpix. He opened the ball and the fluffy ice Fox appeared. Thundy told it to stay quiet. He led the Pokémon to Dynamo. Funny enough, the Alolan vulpix saw Dynamo as a fluffy bed…and hopped on his back…peeping over his head cutely. Thundy chuckled quietly as he hid Vulpix's pokeball in his chest fluff. “Hey bro…there’s something peeping over you…” He said.

Soon after everyone left the arena, Reality was starting to feel like he's enjoying the company so far. He then turned to Samurai when he asked and explained the tournament being a one time event. "Nah, that's ok, I don't mind." Reality answered. "As for what I want to do, I wouldn't mind looking around Friendshire, especially since I haven't exactly got to know this place very well yet."

Reality's eyes trailed off to a white-furred fox on Dynamo's back. He may not have a lot of knowledge on Pokemon, but he knows enough that he can tell it's an Alolan Vulpix. Reality didn't speak up about it, but he did raise an eyebrow at the sight.

TIME SKIP!

As the tournament came to a close, fighters and the audience were slowly making their way out of the stadium. Some going back to their homes, while others were exiting the town to head back to their homes. After making their way down the steps, Dynamo, along with Bluebell and the others, started making their exit from the tournament grounds. Dynamo continued to push his girlfriend in the wheelchair, while asking if she needed anything or if she was comfortable. As he walked with the group, the unicorn’s ears perked as he heard his name, as well as Bluebell’s being called. Looking off in the distance, he noticed the familiar face of Starlight Glimmer. It also looked like Starlight wasn’t alone as she was standing alongside Opia. “Hey, Starlight! It’s good to see you again!” He called out, waving to the two in the distance. Looking back at his girlfriend, the unicorn had a curious look in his eyes.

How are you doing, Bluebell? Did you want to head back to your place, or did you want to see Starlight?” He asks, not realizing something was on his back. That is, until he felt a small amount of pressure on his back. He felt the softness of paws, while whatever was on his back climbed up from his back, to his neck, before nearly sitting on top of his head. Hearing Thundy’s remark, Dynamo blinked in confusion, before looking around to see that nothing was on his back. “Huh? What do you mean, bro? I don’t…” he stopped as he heard the sound of a yip from the mysterious being on his head. “Vulpix.” Gasping softly, Dynamo slowly turns his eyes upward. His gaze coming face to face with what was now revealed to be Vulpix. “I-It can’t be. A…V-Vulpix? It’s not just a Vulpix, but the Alolan version.” He looked from the Vulpix, before turning his attention back towards the griffon. “Hey, bro? What’s an Alolan Vulpix doing on the top of my head? Did my belt activate without me realizing? I didn’t summon any other Pokémon. Besides Cinderace when fighting Cosmic, of course.” He explained, genuine confusion, disbelief, yet curiosity in his eyes.

Thundy revealed the pokeball from his chest fur. It was real. He then put it in front of Dynamo with a smile. The Alolan Vulpix nuzzled Dynamo lovingly, still peeping over him.

Starlight did feel it, and wasn't quite sure what to say. "Heh. Yeah, I guess it does. I'll be sure to remember that in the future." Starlight says. However, it seems waving over her friends didn't go over well with Opia. "Oh, I'm sorry Opia, I didn't realize you felt that way. Unfortunately, I no longer have the privilege of being uninvested. I'm Twilight's former student and I'm a teacher at the School of Friendship. If I just stood back unnoticed, I wouldn't be fulfilling my duties. I hope you can understand. Plus, they are just as much my friends as you are." Starlight explains.

Samurai nods at Reality's response. "Don't worry. Starting tomorrow, if I don't give you guided tour, I promise someone will. It's just getting so late right now..." Samurai responds, considering it is getting dark fast. He also waves at Starlight and Opia. As the group joins them, Samurai turns to Starlight. "Hello, Ms. Starlight Glimmer-sensei. Thank you for all your help today. But now that the day is over, may I ask what your next matter of business is?" Samurai asks. "Well you're quite the formal Asian pony, aren't ya? Honestly, I'll probably be going back home soon. My mission is over. I've set up magical anchor points throughout this town. I've spent more time here than I meant to, and now I have to report all of my findings to Princess Twilight. I bet she can't wait to visit this place..."

Starlight was taken a little by surprise, but laughs a little and hugs Bluebell back. "I'll be fine. It's been a very strange day to say the least, but I'm just fine. How are you holding up? Should I be worried about the wheelchair?"

Trilby taps Thundy on the shoulder and gives him the keys. "I'm returning that vehicle you gave me. I won't be needing it anymore. Thanks so much for helping me out, but Shadow Trail and Keen Fan decided to stay behind. Maybe one day they'll come back to Friendshire..." Trilby explains, a little saddened but also happy for them.

”Oh! Thanks Trilby!” Thundy said with a smile, taking the keys. “I hope they come back, since Pencil and Sparkly left…but…I actually have quite the surprise…” Thundy said loud enough for everyone to hear.

"It's o-only until I'm rested an h-h-h-healed enou-enough to be able to st-st-stand up again."  Bluebell reached over and touched Starlight's shoulder.  "When y-y-y-you get back to can-Canterlot, could you t-t-t-tell Twilight and sp-Spike to get here as soo-soon as they can?"  A tear escaped Bluebell's eye.  "I n-n-need th-them."

With Thundy revealing the pokeball from within his chest fur, Dynamo soon realized that it wasn’t from his belt. If he had noticed, his belt was in his saddlebag and was shut off. Once the capsule was placed in front of him, Dynamo was too focused on the Alolan Vulpix, who nuzzles him lovingly. “Why did you do this, bro? Don’t get me wrong as I love Alolan Vulpix, but I don’t understand.” His ears perking at the sound of giggling, Dynamo craned his neck towards Bluebell. All the while, listening to her remark as he took in what he had been told and had seen. “I-I guess you’re right. I never would have expected to have an actual Pokémon, but it looks like I do now.” Using his magic, the gaming unicorn gently lifted Vulpix off of his head and held a good out. Placing Vulpix in his forelegs, he carefully held the ice fox to make sure it wouldn’t fall. “I know we just met, but it seems like you really like me.” Levitating the pokeball off of the ground, he held the capsule up towards Vulpix.

”I like you, as well, Vulpix. Do you want to go with me on this journey together? Would you like to be friends?” He asks, waiting and hoping to know what the fox’s answer would be. Vulpix stared deeply into his eyes as if studying the unicorn. Leaning forward, the fox held its tongue out as it licked Dynamo’s nose. “Vulpix!” The fox tipped with a nod and smile. The unicorn gasped softly from the action, before smiling softly with tears welling up in his eyes. “I’ll take that as a yes!” He chuckled as he pulled Vulpix into a hug. The latter yipping happily as it relished in the embrace.

"You worked so hard to defeat Cosmic. The pokemon you make with that belt of yours aren't necessarily real, so I figured I'd give you a real true pokemon to have. Maybe tomorrow we could all train together, but for now...come on everyone! Follow me this way!" Thundy called out as he pointed in the direction towards where the concert was going to be.

Meanwhile, Chelsea was in the back. Bingo was a little upset because he wanted to play in the concert. But as they always say, there's a way. Bingo would back up Striker on percussion, mainly large timpanis or chimes.

"Are you sure, Opia? You don't have to be alone. Maybe if you give everyone here a chance, you might find something to like about them. Who knows, maybe one or more of the Mayors might join us." Starlight asks as Opia begins to moving, hoping she can change her mind. Samurai sees this and smiles. He steps up beside Starlight. "I know we've never met before, but Starlight-sensei speaks the truth. We always have room for one more. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs, whatever they may be, and I would appreciate a chance to meet you properly. If we are going to share a town, I'd like for us all to get along. But if you insist on leaving for the night, we'll respect your wishes." Samurai bows respectfully but also hopes that seeing two welcoming faces will make Opia reconsider.

Trilby follows Thundy first. Samurai and Starlight will follow in a moment, they want to hear Opia's response first.

Reality just nodded in response, knowing that he'll get to know the town a bit better eventually. He then smiled a bit when he looked over to Dynamo again, mostly from the cuteness of seeing Dynamo and the Alolan Vulpix having a bonding moment with each other.

That's when Thundy announced everyone to follow him. Reality was curious about what he planned, so he decided to follow him.

As he listened to Thundy's explanation, Dynamo looked at the griffon with a thoughtful expression. "I think I get what you mean, bro. I would say that the Pokemon I summon from my belt are real as the belt is an extension of myself, in a sense. However, that Pokemon is only able to do so much with how much magic I have. So, summoning Pokemon with the belt is not as easy as it looks. However, I really appreciate what you've done. Having an actual Vulpix is almost like a dream. I know I'll do my best to take care of her. Thank you so much, Thundy." He smiled, looking down at the ice fox, who yipped happily at her new trainer and friend. The unicorn and fox soon turned their attention over towards Opia, who was in a conversation between Starlight and Samurai. He decided to stay out of the conversation as he didn't know Opia all that well. That, and he felt it would be rude if he jumped in on a conversation. The gaming unicorn blinked as Opia stared at everyone with an emotionless stare with her grey eyes. 'Capable of things that nobody understands? I wonder what she means by that?' He wondered as it seemed that Starlight had seen first hoof of what Opia had meant. With every word Opia spoke, it was as if there were no feelings or emotions in her voice, but it seemed that she meant well. He smiled as Opia soon agreed to join the group. He didn't know this mare all that well, but he still felt that she could be another friend that he would want to get to know.

The smile was short lived as Dynamo's pendant began to glow once more. It was just like what had happened to Bluebell as she had felt his pain. Only this time, he felt Bluebell's sadness. Looking around, he saw that Bluebell was right near Starlight. Placing Vulpix on his back, Dynamo trotted briskly, yet carefully over to where his girlfriend was. All the while, making sure that Vulpix would fall off from his quickened walking pace. "Bluebell? Are you okay? What's wrong?" He asks, arriving next to his girlfriend's side as he gently placed a comforting hoof upon her shoulder. An expression of care, worry and concern was present in his eyes and on his face.
