Unbeknownst to everyone in Friendshire, trouble was brewing in the air as fate would make its presence known once more. In the town of Fillydelphia sat an abandoned arcade. Some of the games still worked, but a majority had either cracked screens, were turned over, or caved in. Chairs were tossed aside, prizes were torn and teared and the building itself was blanketed by a veil of darkness. The only light available in the arcade was the glow of the full moon, as well as lone light spell that filled a portion of the room. The only thing working was a lone TV that would flip from channel to channel whenever one would be losing interest. That was what Cheap Shot, a burgundy earth pony stallion with blue eyes, steel gray mane that was slicked back, as well as a steel gray tail. His cutie mark consisted of a video game controller that had bits for the buttons, as well as a bit behind the controller. “Ugh…this is so boring! There’s nothing on!” Cheap whined, continuously flipping through channel after channel. That’s when another presence made itself known.

“It would make more sense if you could just take a moment to view what you were watching instead of taking a glance, then you might find something. It’s not our fault that you have the attention span of a squirrel.” Frozen Abyss had stated, while walking over towards Cheap. Frozen was an ebony pegasus stallion with red eyes, as well as a red and purple mane and tail. He wore glasses and his mane was done up in a ponytail. Hearing Frozen’s remark had caused Cheap's blood to boil. “What did you just say!? Don’t give me that smart remark, Frozen! As if you could do any better!” Cheap slammed his hoof to the ground in frustration. Unfortunately, the hood he slammed had the channel changer, but thankfully it survived the impact. This reaction caused Frozen to simply readjust his glasses, while shaking his head in friendlier. “I rest my case.” Just as Cheap was about to open his mouth to retort, a female’s voice had made itself known to the duo.

That voice belonging to Elusive Facts, who had been giving her report of the video game event in Friendshire. While there wasn’t much to cover due to the entire town being sent into the game world, she was still talking to others who had experienced the event. One of them was a familiar blue unicorn by the name of Dynamo Pad. Cheap’s jaw dropped slightly in disbelief, while Frozen just stood there. The illuminating light had caused his glasses to glare, but you could notice the raised eyebrow as he was fascinated by these  turn of events. “No way. Hey boss! You’ve gotta see this!” Cheap called out to nobody in particular as Frozen walked over to stand next to the sitting burgundy earth pony. “Now that’s pretty peculiar. I wonder why Dynamo Pad is doing on the TV.” Cheap could only shrug his shoulders as was too engrossed by the news. “Who knows and who cares. Wasn’t there talk between Drool Pad and Pinball that he was going to Ponyville? I think that mare said something about Friendshire, so that ain’t definitely Ponyville.”

Frozen had been listening to the report as he slowly hummed to show that he was listening. “Perhaps he said Ponyville, but maybe it was a sort of Morse code. A way to not be forums if we went and say crashed the party. It’s been a while since we last saw the brat.” Cheap chuckled as he bounced in his seat. “Come on, Cosmic! You’re favorite punching bag is on the news!” Out from the shadows was revealed to be a neon green unicorn. This pony was Cosmic Clown, who had gold eyes, a spiky blue and purple mane and tail. For his cutie mark, it was in the constellation of a clown. He had been sitting on a makeshift throne to show his ownership of the broken down arcade. Trudging his way over to the group, Cosmic could see Dynamo giving an interview to Elusive. Seeing the unicorn caused Cosmic to grin from ear to ear. A grin that threatens and split his face into two “Well, well, well. You both were right. The punching bag was indeed on TV. Wonder why he’s being interviewed. My guess he probably did something and messed everything up. I always knew he was a failure through and through.” He hasn’t paid much attention to the news, but it mattered not to Cosmic. He had a feeling they’d meet once again, but he didn’t think it would be so soon. “Why in the world would there be a town named Friendshire? That just sounds ridiculous like friendship.” Cosmic rolled his eyes with a huff. “Figures. Kyubiki would want to be at a place that sounds like friendship. Just the thought of it makes me annoyed.” He would say, before a sudden thought came to mind. “Frozen. Where is Friendshire, exactly?” The ebony pegasus cupped his chin with his front left hoof in thought. “Hmm…it’s a bit of a ways off from Ponyville, but it’s pretty close. At least from what’s being said on the news. Seems to me that this town was erased off of the map, before being rediscovered. Why?” He asks, already having an idea of where this was going.“Oh! Are we going on a trip, boss?” Cheap grinned, perking up at the forming planCosmic’s grin began to deflate, before slowly turning into a small, yet evil smirk. “Start packing your bags, fellas. We got ourselves a punching bag to visit. Let’s see if we can change that towns name while we’re at it.” Cheap cheered as he stood back up, while the trio began finding the saddlebags to pack. ‘Just you wait, Kyubiki Tenchu. I’m going to make you regret crossing paths with me.’ He thought, giving a sinister chuckle. As the darkness enveloped the group, the only thing that could be seen was Cosmic’s monstrous smirk. As if he was a predator waiting to attack its prey.

At the same time, something else was brewing.

With a yawn, Starlight Glimmer walk into Twilight's throne room. "You wanted to see me, princess?" Starlight asks. "Sorry to call you in like this, Starlight. I know it's late, but I've been dealing with a personal issue for days now, and I'm not getting anywhere. Feels like I'm running in circles! I tried to use my magic to locate Bluebell's mind and use that to teleport, but I couldn't get a lock. Feels like my magic is being blocked somehow? And then all of Tempest's efforts went to waste..." Twilight begins to ramble as she walks in place, pacing left and right while rubbing her chin in contemplation.

Starlight has to interfere. She goes up and puts a hoof on Twilight's shoulder, making her stop. "Woah! Slow down, Twilight. Start from the beginning. Now what's got you all worried? You could have called me sooner for anything at all." Starlight tries to sooth her friend's worries. Twilight takes a deep breath and starts over. "I didn't mean to wait this long, I've just been spending all this time with Tempest trying to fix things. Remember when I asked her to try and find Friendshire? She did, but as soon as she left, she ran into some magical interference. It's as if the town has changed geographical location, or maybe the roads leading to it were different. Try as she might, she just couldn't retrace the same steps she took to find it. So I worked with her to try and find Friendshire again, but everything we did just didn't work. Our last effort was just a few minutes ago." Twilight explains.

"So how can I help?" Glimmer asks. Twilight smiles. "It was just a random thought, but maybe Tempest couldn't go back because she's all ready been there once before. Starlight, first thing tomorrow, I'd like you to go off and try to find Friendshire for me. Explore the town, see if you can find any reason why it might be blocking me out. And more importantly, I want you to set up some magical anchor points for me. Even if I can't get there, I can at least make traveling to the town easier for others; and if anyone there is trapped, then they'll have a way out as well." Twilight explains. Starlight beams and salutes. "You can count on me, Princess! Besides, I've been needing a break from the Friendship School."

As the sun sets, turning the sky dark, Samurai is seen in the yard of Trilby Hatter's business building.

It was ransacked during the one-day war, and guess what. Samurai's been working to restore it while he's gone. He's been resurfacing the yard, replacing the windows, removing debris, etc. It might not be perfect, but when Samurai is done, it is WAY more presentable that it ever was before. From the outside, you'd never know that anything happened to it. Samurai is dirty and wiping off some of the grime. As he does, he leaves the property and looks over the town's incomplete history book. "...Well, I've gained some more pages, but I still don't feel any closer to finishing my mission. Today, friends became closer than ever, and then immediately drifted apart. I hope the town will be okay while they're gone..." He contemplates.

As Samurai puts everything together, the Laronde Box begins to activate again, solving a little more of itself. "Eh?" Samurai holds it up, and the box makes a projection of what the next event is. He sees images of fighters going head to head, one on one, in a stage; followed by images of an elimination chart. "Really? But the town is still healing... Well, maybe the box knows something I don't." As the projection concludes, Samurai races home. He's got some phone calls to make.

And as the town rests with most of its citizens going to sleep, construction begins once again...

DAY 10

Morning rolls around.
By now, nearly all the citizens who were hospitalized have been discharged. The town is in a MUCH better place.
But more importantly, it's boarders are back open again.

Why?

Because the town square has been converted into a HUGE tournament grounds!
And as we speak, ponies are distributing ads, fliers, and promotions for the "Friendshire Grand Fighting Tournament"!
Even Elusive Facts, the town's local reporter, is reporting on this and talking about how sign-ups have all ready begun. Likewise, anyone who just wants to be a spectator can get tickets as well.

@Windy Breeze

A new day has come. Trilby awakens and gets out of bed. Wearing a morning robe, he decides to go over to the other room where Keen and Shadow are staying. He knocks on their door. "Good morning, fillies. Anyone up? I thought I'd see if this hotel offers any breakfast before we head out."

As Kronos wanders around the town, he sees ads about a fighting tourney happening today. He’s sure as Tartaurus not gonna miss an opportunity like this one. A chance to show off some true fighting skills of his? This is it. This is his time to show why he is a worthy warrior for the town. But, most importantly, this is an opportunity for him to prove to himself that he has grown as a warrior and a soldier.

There was no answer, however, he can hear giggles and voices from the room.

“Take that!”

“You'll pay for that. The darkness will fall on you!”

The girls seem to be in high spirits today and Trilby will hear soft thumps. Are they playing inside their room?

As another day dawns upon the town of Friendshire, it seemed that everyone was beginning to awaken to a brand new day. However, not everyone was waking up in high spirits. In the hotel room, Dynamo was continuously tossing and turning in his sleep. Inside his mind, he was having a horrible nightmare. In the dream, he was in a completely dark void. He couldn't see anything for miles as all that was visible to him were his own hooves in front of him. He tried calling out to anyone to see if he could acquire some answers, but the only voice that responded back were his own echos. He gritted his teeth as he was starting to worry, until he could see silhouettes off in the distance. Getting a better look, Dynamo smiled as he could see that it was Bluebell and the others. Racing over to the group, Dynamo waved a hoof to try and get their attention. "Hey, guys!" He was slightly confused as they didn't respond to him, but he thought it was best to try again. No matter what he said, however, they still gave him no time of day. That was, until they turned around. The gaming unicorn stopped in his tracks as what he saw sent chills down his spine. The look in their eyes held such malice, hatred and discontent. Even seeing Bluebell's eyes full of tears was more than enough to hurt Dynamo's heart. "G-Guys? W-What's wrong?" He was soon met with simple responses of them hating him, or that he lied to them. The majority of them saying that they were never his friend given with what they had heard. Some telling him to leave town, while others were hoping to capture them. Dynamo was simply too scared to think. Too confused to contemplate what he was hearing. Even seeing Bluebell telling him that she was leaving him for someone else had caused the gaming unicorn to shut down. This couldn't be happening, could it? What could have happened? Why was this happening? Such thoughts were running through his mind, but he couldn't get a chance to think of an answer. It didn't help that he saw Bluebell walking away with someone else, while looking truly happy. Each one of his previous friends had walked away, while each had vanished into the darkness. Ultimately, leaving Dynamo all alone. Just like that, he was back where he was before coming to Friendshire. That was, until he had heard three familiar voices calling out to him. "You see, Drool Pad? This is what happens when you get greedy. You can't always get what you want!" Shouted Cheap, before another voice had cut in. "If you were smarter, then you'd have given up on your dreams a long time ago. Better yet, you could have not gone to this town!" Exclaimed Frozen, before the final voice had caused him to shudder in fear. "You were the one who stole my destiny away! Now it's time I took what you earned all away! If you won't give this to me, then nobody can have this! Now it's time to take everything I want back, Kyubiki Tenchu!" It was then that Cosmic, Frozen and Cheap had all stepped out of the darkness. Each one ready to attack Dynamo with each of their strong suits. Dynamo tried to run, but he felt as if he was stuck. Unable to move or defend himself as each one of the stallion drew closer and closer. As they were inches away, Dynamo could see a fading silhouette floating in the sky. He couldn't make out the details, the voice belonged to someone he knew all too well. "Why, son?" Was all he could hear, before everything came crashing down upon him. "NO!"

As he watched his nightmare, Dynamo's head tossed and turned. His body began to sweat and tremble from the terror and pain he had received. As he screamed out in his dream, Dynamo had sat quickly up with a gasp. Since he was still on the sofa, he got up too quickly. Ultimately, falling face forward onto the floor below. Thankfully, the floor was carpeted, so the pain wasn't too severe. That didn't take away the mental pain he had been feeling. He groaned slightly from the fall, before sitting up as he rubbed his nose. He took a few deep breaths to try and get some air back into his lungs. Along with trying to get his beating heart under control. "Oh, what a terrible nightmare." He whispered softly to himself. 'If it was just a nightmare, then why did it feel so real?' He thought to himself as he tried to regain his bearings. The only thing he could think of was that it was a sign of things to potentially come. He truly hoped that wasn't the case as he soon noticed that he wasn't in his room. Looking around, he held back a gasp as he tried to piece together where he was. His eyes zoomed from one side to the other as he took in the furniture and the walls. As he stopped at the giant Pichu plush, he soon looked to the side to see Bluebell, who was still asleep. "Oh, yeah. That's right. I stayed the night with Bluebell." It was then that he remembered the day and night they shared together. He blushed as everything had been coming back to him. The date that they had, their talk, their dance, and so much more. It was then that he realized that Bluebell was Dynamo's girlfriend now. 'Girlfriend. I honestly never thought I'd have a special somepony again, but I'm truly glad to know that it's a special mare like Bluebell.' He thought, as the mention of the word 'girlfriend' was enough to warm his heart. The nightmare he had experienced was still there to cause him worry. However, he still managed to push the thoughts aside to try and not worry Bluebell or anyone else for that matter.

Pencil had headed into town this morning to get herself some breakfast before she began her work. As she passed by various buildings, which looked a lot prettier since the last time she saw them, she noticed there were a bunch of flyers for some type of tournament. She stopped to get a closer look at them and realized it was a fighting tournament. She wasn’t into that sort of thing in the slightest, but if one of her friends signed up or wanted to watch with her, she would go along.

The next day, Thundy and Chelsea woke early to do their morning exercises. Thundy opened all the windows to the place to let the fresh air inside. He then turned on his music...loudly of course.

After their exercise, Thundy and Chelsea headed into the square...at that moment, Thundy's eyes lit up, for he saw what appeared to be a fighting tournament that was being set up. He then turned and saw Pencil Pouch. "Oh! Morning Pencil!" He said with a smile. Chelsea saw the flyers. "Eh...no thanks. I'd rather spectate..." She said to herself.

Just a few paces behind Pencil were Thundy and Chelsea. She waved to them both as they came over to investigate the fliers as well. Chelsea opted to stay out of the fighting and from the look on Thundy’s face, he seemed interested in signing up.

“If you’re gonna fight, Thundy, just be careful.” Pencil cautioned. “And Chelsea, if you’re just gonna watch, could we go watch it together? Fighting matches aren’t really my thing, but if Thundy is gonna be there, might as well support him, right?”

"If I survived a gaming world, and a war...then surely I can enter this fighting tournament..." Thundy said with a tone of confidence. Thundy only used the ultimate form once, which he really didn't have to use. He would pace himself and wondered who his opponents would be.

I wake up, only to see that Nopony has already left in an unknown direction. It's typical for him to disappear like that. But Sparkly is still here, looking at me.

"Good morning, Sparkly!" I say and hug her tightly. Then I look at the window and see all the commotion at the streets. "There seems to be something happening outside, let's check it out!"

"Ah yes, the disguise" Tree Song says happily. She doesn't mind some friendly sings of affection Sparkly is giving her. They leave the inn together, to investigate the situation outside.

Meanwhile, Nopony arrives at the hospital and asks the staff if Sundae is still there. He decided to try to make things right with her after all.

As the train came to a complete stop near the station, Cosmic, Frozen and Cheap had taken their first step off of the vehicle. Just as their were making sure they had their belongings on hoof, the train doors had quickly shut tight, before the train began chugging along towards it's next destination. "Sheesh. Talk about being in a hurry. What happened? Did the train miss it's schedule?" Cheap would ask, Frozen rolling his eyes in disbelief. "Maybe that's a way of saying that we aren't welcomed here, or you were heckling the conductor too much." Frozen readjusted his glasses, while Cheap would simply grit his teeth. "Why, I oughta..." He was about to be face to face with his teammate, before Cosmic stepped in between the two. "ENOUGH!" His shout echoing throughout the area. He huffed as he walked past the two towards the only road available. "We don't have time to be arguing like a bunch of fools. We had to take the train early to get here as soon as we could. So, if you could just be quiet for two seconds, then I'd really appreciate the effort." Frozen had rolled his eyes, while Cheap had blown a raspberry, but the two knew that Cosmic had made a point. Without another word between the two, the group started down the path towards their soon to be destination. As the trio trekked along the path, there was nothing, but trees and trees for miles. It was as if they were trapped in some form of illusion, but the group knew better.

"So, are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are there now? How about now?" Each question Cheap would ask, Frozen would give him a simple 'no,' or 'not yet.' It wasn't until the umpteenth time that it was starting to get on Cosmic's nerves. Just as Cheap was about to ask again, Cosmic flipped his neck back at a breakneck pace. "If you ask that question one more time, then I'm going to send you back from Fillydelphia to the moon and back! Why don't you just try to entertain yourself for once instead of having to ask the obvious questions that will get you the same answer you've been hearing all morning." Cosmic's expression turned sour as his gaze tried to vaporize Cheap on the spot. He was so angry that he was nearly about to burst a blood vessel. Cheap, on the other hoof, glanced to the side past Cosmic as he noticed a sign that said, "Welcome to Friendshire."

"Hey, boss! Look at the sign!" Cheap exclaimed, while Frozen gave the sign a once over. "Huh. Well, that didn't take too long to get there. Only logical as we just kept walking and talked to pass the time. In this case, it was the two of you bickering." Cosmic glanced from Frozen to Cheap and back to Frozen again. Giving his teammates a look that told them to be silent as they made their way into Friendshre. As they made their way into the town, they took notice of their surroundings. "Hmm...it looks just like Fillydelphia, in a way. Seems kind of small, but a bit bigger when you look at it. Seems like there's more to this town than meets the eye." Frozen hypothesized, giving his two cents on the town before them. "At any rate, I think it's best to gather some intel and gain some recon." Cosmic admitted, while Cheap raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Aren't those two the exact same thing, boss?" Cosmic rolled his eyes as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "That's besides the point, Cheap. We need to find Kyubiki and the other ponies that were in that news interview. I don't know who the others are, but it's better to keep tabs and potential allies in high places." Cheap heaved a heavy sigh as he took a few steps forward. "Well, whatever we have to do. Hopefully, there's something fun to do. Not like something's going to come and hit us right in the face." Just as he spoke, his face was assaulted by a piece of flyer paper. "AH! Get it off! Get it off! Get it off me!" He exclaimed, running around like a headless chicken. As he circled around the others, Frozen had taken a moment, before extending his front right hoof. Snatching the paper away as Cheap had a thankful expression and a sigh of relief. Looking at the contents of the paper, itself, Frozen smirked as he held the paper up to Cosmic. "Well, then. Here's something fun for us to do, while looking for our punching bag." He would say, the neon green unicorn taking the paper with a levitation spell. "Friendshire's Grand Fighting Tournament, huh? Well, sounds like a fun opportunity to stretch our legs. Plus, it'll give us an opportunity to test out our fun little new item we acquired." He chuckle softly with a slight smirk. Cheap walking over next to his leader to read the paper, but only to smile in glee at the prospect of testing what they had gained. "Come on. Let's go look around and see if anyone knows where to sign up." Cosmic says, taking his leave with his two cohorts walking right alongside him.

As he took notice of Bluebell's sleeping form, Dynamo couldn't help in chuckling softly at how cute she slept. To him, it looked like she didn't have a care in the world. His ears soon perked as he heard what appeared to be music blasting outside. "Are you joking? Who plays music so early in the morning?" He whispered, looking to the time on the clock to see that it was still very early. If he had turned back sooner, he would have taken notice of a blue figure jumping right at him. From the sound of the screeching yell, he could tell that the voice belonged to Bluebell. "Woah!" He managed to say, before Bluebell fell unceremoniously off of the couch and onto the gaming unicorn. "Ooooooow. Okay! I'm a little hurt, but I'm okay!" He managed to breathe out as he struggled to get some air. "B-Bluebell? A-Are you okay? You're not hurt, a-are you?" He asks, glad that he was able to break her fall.

As Dynamo sat up, he began rubbing his forehead as both his and Bluebell's horns had banged into each other. "Well, my mom always told me that I was headstrong." As he heard Bluebell's remark, as well as his own. The gaming unicorn couldn't help himself as he blew a raspberry. Ultimately leading to him leaning back and broke into a fit of laughers. "Oh, wow! I had to think about that for a moment." He responded in between his laughing fit. After a moment, he took a few deep breaths to try and compose himself. "Whew. That was a good one. Thanks for that as I really needed that." He sat up and smiled, blushing as there was something he wanted to do. Finding the courage, he leaned over and kissed Bluebell on the cheek. "Good morning, Bluebell. How are you and how did you sleep? Before the whole loud music, of course." He says, smiling softly.

Trilby hears the sounds from behind the door. "Hmm... What were those old sleepover rules from my teen years? ...Oh yeah. Never interrupt a pillow fight unless you're hungry for feathers." For now, he leaves them alone and makes his way to the dining room, if they have one.

A few minutes later, Trilby comes back with a large tray of food and tries again. He knocks on the door. "Shadow? Keen? I have breakfast muffins, hay-bacon, and juice."

"Sure have." Thundy stated. "Yea, but fighting's not my thing...I'm gonna see if I could work as some sort of medical personnel, make sure that those who get injured, which I hope isn't too bad, get healed up quickly." Chelsea said.

The door opens, revealing a tired Shadow, “Hay-bacon?... Hey, Keen, breakfast time!”

“I'm coming!” Keen would appear beside Shadow, a white feather perched on her mane. Unlike Shadow, Keen is less tired than the pegasus, “Good morning, Trilby. You offering us to go on a trip to the dining room?”

As the trio began walking around town, they could still see more ponies handing out or tossing flyers to anyone who was interested. "Are we really going to have to ask for help on where to sign up? I'm not really in the mood to talk to others so early in the morning. Plus, it feels so friendly here that it's making my skin crawl." Cheap whined, while Frozen had kept a trained eye on anyone and everyone around them. Cosmic and Frozen included wouldn't say it, but they knew Cheap had a point. Not because they wanted to admit that one of them was right, but because they didn't want to get busted in wanting to start trouble. The moment they stepped into town, they felt utter disgust. They looked slightly annoyed at first glance, but they each tried to keep a neutral or natural expression. Their expressions soon changed as they heard a pony yelling out to the crowd. Looking to the source of the voice, they could see said pony holding up flyers and a discord. All the while, directing traffic of spectators and potential competitors for this tournament. What caught the interest of the three was that the unicorn had a curved horn. Just like a certain unicorn that they knew all too well. "Guess that's what you call being convenient. Hope you guys saw that. Do you think this guy and Pad are related?" Frozen asks, Cheap shrugging his shoulders. "Either it's that or Drool Pad affected others like a disease." He chuckled, Cosmic heaving a heavy sigh of relief. Hearing Cheap's joke had caused him to chuckle, but he tried his best in holding it back. "Finally! It's about time we got somewhere. Either option sounds tempting, but all the more fuel to add to the flames. So, come on. Let's go." The group started making their way to where Samurai was, while Cosmic waved a hoof to gain the asian pony's attention. "Hey, excuse us! We'd like to sign up too." He would say, taking notice of Samurai, who had gone over towards a unicorn and two griffons.

Samurai nods, completely understanding Chelsea's reason for staying out of this. "Well then, I hope you'll cheer me on when it's my turn to fight." Samurai says.
But Kronos' eagerness gets him excited as well. "I was hoping to see you in this tournament, Kronos-san. Let's show the amateurs what REAL fighting is all about." He lead the way back to the registration desk.

As he walks over, he happens upon a trio he's never seen before, asking him a question. "Of course, gentlecolts. Right this way; douzo." Just from one comment, they can hear a little bit of a Japonies accent, but the last word pretty much confirms it. Soon, Samurai guides them all to the sign-in desk. Samurai puts down his clipboard on the desk and pushes it forward with a pen. "Just write your name here, take a yellow tag from the box at the end of the table, and feel free to enter the building at any time. Chelsea, you'll have to go around to the western entrance, if you're not going to be a fighter in the tournament." Samurai explains. He turns to Thundy. "You know, this tournament is looking real promising. We've only just begun, and some of the ponies signing up are old citizens that use to live here. Maybe we can win them back to the town!"

Trilby giggles a little. "Morning Shadow. Did I miss anything fun?"

"Hello, Keen! No need. I have everything right here!" Trilby holds up a try with 3 extra large cups of juice and plenty of food for all of them. "May I?" Asking for permission, he enters and puts the food down on the nearest table.

Pencil makes her way with Chelsea and Thundy to the sign up area. It was quite easy to locate since Samurai was yelling across town about it. When they got there, Thundy was eager to sign up but Chelsea said she preferred to be on medical standby. Pencil wasn’t a very good medic, so she would have to spectate on her own.

“Hey, Samurai. I’m just gonna watch, I’m definitely not suited for fighting.” she told Samurai.

Once Thundy and Chelsea took to their routes, Pencil waited a moment in case anyone else was headed towards the bleachers, the stadium, or whatever it was that she was supposed to sit on. She wasn’t quite sure, which is why she decided to hang back and follow somepony inside. She waited for a while and so far only saw Kronos and a group of ponies she didn’t recognize. They all signed up to fight, so they weren’t headed where she needed to go. Feeling a bit awkward, she spoke to Samurai about her little dilemma.

“Um, Samurai, where do I go if I wanna just watch?” she asked. She looked down and shuffled her hooves for a quick moment. To make the situation less awkward, she added in a bit of small talk. “Oh, and, I heard that you’re going to fight as well. Good luck!”

Cosmic and the others were thankful that someone had gained their attention. They were just about to lose their patience as they tried to acquire some assistance. They were given help by the stallion with a curved horn, who was also passing out flyers and held a clipboard. As he lead the group, Cosmic had looked as if Samurai had grown a second head. Just before nodding as he kept walking. "Uh...yeah. Douzo, or whatever you mean." He didn't really understand what Samurai had said, but Frozen did all too well. "You have to really learn what others say, Cosmic. What that pony said was in Japonies. Douzo means to go ahead, or what he said before in right this way." He rolled his eyes as the neon green unicorn simply shrugged his shoulders. "How should I know that? I’m not pony dictionary like you are, Frozen. I never took language courses in school. Well, except maybe for Cheap. I remember him taking gibberish and passing with flying colors." He snickered, Cheap's jaw dropping at the leader's comment. "Bleh!" He stuck out his tongue and blew a raspberry, while Cosmic could only point behind him. "See what I mean?"

He had noticed that a cybernetic pony had joined the group. The group couldn't tell if it was a pony wearing a suit, or if Kronos was fully machine. Cosmic, however, felt as if he could sense that there was more to Kronos that meets the eye. He just couldn't quite put his hoof on it. Frozen wondered, as well with how Kronos walked, but decided to stay quiet about it for the time being. "Oh? I couldn't help in overhearing, but can you tell us what had happened? Maybe it's perhaps the cause of someone's troubles that made them leave? By the way, my name is Cosmic Clown. This is Frozen Abyss and Cheap Shot." He would say, introducing himself and his team to Samurai and the others. Cosmic began to wonder if Dynamo was inside and signed up already or not. Especially if the punching bag was the one who caused the old citizens to leave. Either way, he'd make sure to crush the competition. "I think I can speak for my friend as I'm curious about this too. The town does seem to be old and huge at first glance. We had some difficulty getting here, so we are pretty new. It's only logical that this is the first time that we all met." Frozen would say, Cheap being indifferent to anything as he just wanted to sign up. Just as the burgundy earth pony was about to write down his name, Cosmic slapped his hoof away to stop him. He gave him a look that told Cheap to wait a moment. Begrudgingly, he sighed and nodded. All the while, knowing what Cosmic was after. There were some contestants who had signed up already, so there was no rush. That, and they waited to see if Dynamo would show up in order to reintroduce themselves.
