A thread just for fun! Name a character you think gets a bad name in the fandom (CANON ones only, please!) and why you don't think they deserve their reputation, OR what you like about them.

I'll start; Princess Cadance isn't bad, y'all are just mean. She's confident, sweet, one of the best singing voices, happy to help but also happy to deliver some home truths if you need to hear it. Her colour scheme is also great!
I think her bad rep comes from her sudden introduction, and she wasn't given much room to breathe before suddenly a wedding and a baby shortly after (though defending the Crystal Empire was pretty dang great). I would loved to have seen her ascension with Princess Amore, sadly we can't see it!

Rarity deserves more respect, IMO. 

 

While it is true that she can be vain & shallow *sometimes*

 

she is also a loyal & generous pony who cares a great deal about the well-being of her friends.

He only wants to reclaim his rightful thrown he held for thousands of years from those equestrian imposters who ocupying his territory and ruling with tyranny from canterlot.

What nonsense. Did you read the comics. Sombra was truly a wicked pony.

And this tyrant Celestia thing is also nonsense. she tried to help her sister a thousand years ago but because her bond with her sister with broken, the elements of harmony could no longer be used to their full power anymore. That is why she couldn't just simply use the Elements to turn her back from being Nightmare Moon and can only banished her into the Moon. Only once the elements found new bearers in the Mane 6 could they have been used to their full potential again and save Luna
