Backwards when I can. It is safer to back in and go forward when you leave.

It depends. For the most part I pull in forward however if I’m able to I prefer to back in. It’s honestly a lot easier to see when leaving. With most places I go to being super busy I usually end up just pulling in.

Sideways 

Really, though. My scooter fits sideways in parking spaces. Since the shopping cart returns at the local grocery store take up most of two parking spaces, it leaves the perfect amount of room to fit my scooter in, and acts as a convenient anchor point for the security chain. It also ensures there will always be an open space for me when I go grocery shopping, which is nice.

Backwards. It's better to reverse into the space, so that you can drive straight out.

My girlfriend drives a decent sized truck so we pull in, but we also go to the back of parking lots so we can pull forward into the next spot in order to pull out later.

I tend to park as far away from the place I'm parking as possible, so pull through when I can, but backwards when not available. It's not as big of an issue as it used to be, because I have a backup cam, but backwards, now out of habit.

I'm that weirdo who's backed into a space. Most times, I do that. But in a busy place, like, say, a convenience store, I don't hold people up with it. Feels like a rude thing to do.

It depends. Normally if I'm at a place like a grocery store or a place where I've gone to run an errand, I park normally which I assume means forwards. If I'm at a place like work though, I park backwards.

I park forwards. I drive a Smart car so I can park in either direction and just do a 180 within the parking space if I want to drive out. I don't even have to back up.

I back in always if possible. It’s so hard backing out of parking spots in this car.
