FFXII Lightning Returns. Not the quest stuff, but just clearing the world of trash. The music is fabulous, and the fighting style is really fluid. It's just comfy.

Classic Mario and Zelda. Any of the Animal Crossing games. Harvest Moon/Story Of Seasons. Minecraft. The original (2005) Star Wars Battlefront II is a game I love to relax with, even though multiplayer servers have been gone for probably over a decade.

Yu-gi-oh duel links or my classic childhood games like NFS 3, NFS 4, Capitalism. Those games don't require much brainpower to play as played them for such a long time that I basically know them inside out.

Easily Animal Crossing New Horizons at the moment. I can just kind of pick that game up at any time and just... chill with it.

In addition to this I'd also say Undertale (preferably the Pacifist Run though) and Night in the Woods, both narrative-based games I just really enjoy going back to a lot that honestly make me want to play more narrative-based games.

Any pokemon game honestly, I even remember back then, I played Pokemon Shield with the added challenge of using only one type. (As well as doing a Nuzlocke but I think I might've skipped a few rules of how it's supposed to work in swsh)

Persona 5 or the Mass Effect trilogy when I really want a game that can suck me into its story and let me escape reality for a while.

Or The Sims 3 or Planet Coaster/Planet Zoo when I just want a casual game I can play while listening to music and chatting with friends.

Friendship isn't always easy. But it's definitely worth fighting for.
