Cash In 22,939 April 3, 2023 Share April 3, 2023 (edited) If we're using social classes, then working class. The names are a bit different here, but they basically mean the same thing. Edited April 3, 2023 by Cash_In At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Envy 6,317 June 4, 2023 Share June 4, 2023 Lower middle class, Methodist/Disciples of Christ, liberal, peaceful (no drinking, drugs, abuse, family fighting.). Aside from the whole being raised Christian thing (which, honestly, has perhaps helped me from falling into it an adult, since I have experienced it and found nothing of value), I'm very grateful for the way I was raised. Everything needs more woodwind!

Lucky Bolt 35,176 November 26, 2023 Share November 26, 2023 I was born in a working class family and proud of it, we didn't have much but we had enough, and what we wanted we worked for it. Nothing was just handed to us and we suffered through some tough times. I am proud of where I came from as it humbled me greatly.

Raskolnikov 1,149 April 30 Share April 30 (edited) Poor working class atheist 'family' - in reality it felt more like a resentful roommate economic arrangement for everyone involved. Dysfunctional to shit. Communist mostly which is about its only saving grace No longer a part of that 'family' so I'm solo except my sister and her mum, lol Edited April 30 by Raskolnikov 1 "None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free." Iforgotmybrain 6,496 May 8 Share May 8 Well, when I was born my family was pretty solidly upper middle class income wise. Growing up it’s a bit harder to categorize, I wouldn’t say we were poor since I know many people who were worse off than us. Maybe lower middle class? Stone Cold Steve Jobs 22,483 May 15 Share May 15 Middle class - lower middle class or so. Had our share of problems and our share of good fortune. I wouldn’t change it. And that’s the bottom line, ‘cause Stone Cold said so!
Administrator Ice Princess Silky <3 17,341 May 15 Administrator Share May 15 A crazy one. Let me just put it like this... People look at me now and assume I am from some Aristocratic position of sorts. Nothing could be further from the truth. Take a D20 die, roll it for "what type of family were you born into" and get -25. That is the kind of family I grew up in. And from New York City, too? Whatever is out there must really love me. (I make jokes about it because it is me. Anyone else with a harsh/hectic family, my heart goes out to). That does not define you.
