Another week, another staffer to be summoned to the stage so that everypony may share their appreciation, stories and positivity! This time we have no other than @SCS and I am delighted to be the one to announce him! 

His history with MLPForums.com is a long one. Since year 2013 he's been member of the community that not only contributed to the quality of our forums by being a fun person, but also eventually became a moderator and then an administrator, playing vital role in forum's growth, both with his approach to the community and a technical knowledge. 

Eventually SCS moved on to other projects. Sad day it was, both for me and for his other friends. We've lost a wonderful person during that day and most of us believed his days in the community are over. That is, until not so long ago he made his return to us and shortly after that joined staff once more, this time as Event Coordinator, adding his own experience to group that was already exceptional before he joined. 

What I remember of SCS is how he was capable of writing quality posts and observations, yet at the same time was no stranger to fun banter or simple memes. He was always associated with Luna, I do not believe he ever had a single profile picture that did not depict his favourite princess. Not shying away from interaction with users, he's one of reasons why this is, in my humble opinion, one of the friendliest and most fun communities in the Internet. 

A little legend about SCS!

Some people say this actually IS Princess Luna in disguise. Is it true? No idea, but hopefully one day we will all find out ;) 

So, as a closing note, SCS, big thank you to you for being a positive influence to the community for years and continuing to do so today!

Thank you so much everyone for your kindness and remembrance of my time here. Your kind words @Sir Hugsalot mean more than I can say, as it brings me genuine joy if I have made even the slightest positive impact on others.

Truly, I credit the team that came before me for building the foundation and nurturing the sapling that grew into the grand oak that stands today. An oak that could not have better caretakers than the team we have today.

As it stands, due to many challenges in my personal life I'm not able to contribute anywhere near as much time or effort to MLP Forums as I would like to. I am simply thankful for the grace and understanding of this community and the opportunity to be here, and contribute what I can. I am thankful for the presence and activity, but more importantly the hearts of all across the community who carry on the legacy of the meaning in finding common ground over the seemingly simplest things, and extending a hand in friendship.

I cannot confirm nor deny this :LunaMCM:

But truthfully, Princess Luna represents a very great deal to me. I would be but the echo of a specter banished to the gloom by the moonlit glow of her watchful spirit.

Excellent point. Everyone has their own lore. And while I don't like complimenting myself, if you want complicated, extensive, fun-to-learn, hard-to-grasp, thrilling, romantic, depressing and action-packed lore, ask me about "Specter's multiverse."
