"Ah. See, mine gives me a very powerful healing factor, I can shoot fireballs, breathe big spreads of it, inhale it, swallow it, and eat super spicy foods. Oh and make it blue if I get mad or hot enough."

"So, my fire magic also makes me immune to fire effects and lava and stuff. I also can eat spicy stuff and the like because of my fire magic. Now, as to my fire healing me, me inhaling it, breathing it, and swallowing it, I cannot do that. I just use my horn for any fire thing I need to conjure up. But the fact I have this magic does help me in other areas." I grin big, as I have found another fire magic user who is kinda like me in the way of being immune to the effects of fire.

Normally, he would try and dance, but he still had a job to do. It still wouldn't stop him from getting into the groove of the song.

"Hey Dyny! I'm doing good. I took a scenic route, flying over the woods, familiarizing myself with the road." *He then started moving his head to the beat, while waiting for Dynamo to give him his number.* "Yeah, Shiny knows how to choose a good song."

"I do remember learning that a unicorn's magic is linked to their special talent. In which case, that's really cool that your magic of white fire is linked to your cutie mark. I've only dabbled in reading as I've ever tested elemental magic just yet. It's something that I was hoping to do as I was thinking of making my own kind of video game magic. My special talent is actually based on my love and passion for video games. My talent is being able to adapt in games and everyday life. That, and sometimes when I play, I feel like whenever I move in one way, the video game character can do the same. Sort of like being able to move and play as the character. If that makes sense, of course. I still don't know how it happens as it still feels unreal to me." He explained with a smile.

I'm glad to hear that you're doing good and it sounds like someone wanted to stretch their wings." He chuckled softly with a kind smile, thinking that was smart strategy to get a good grasp on the road for the race. "You can say that again. I haven't heard that song in a little while, but it's always a classic to this day. Oh, I almost forgot." He started, as he went and handed Moonlight his number. "It looks like you are number 2 for the race, my friend. That will be one free hug, please. Good luck and have fun in the race!"

*He zipped over next to Shiny again. He told himself in his head not to go fast.*

"Ah, I see. Then yeah, I'd be very surprised if your fire was any other color than its usual orange if you were able to learn elemental magic. Your special talent does sound pretty cool, though." I smile a friendly smile at him.

"Well, I should head to the starting line. See you after the race, Dynamo!" I trot over to the starting line and stretch, getting ready to race once the event starts.

UseSilverspark flew in, excited and eager to start. Her eyes darted left and right, taking in the many competitors, but she also spotted some friends. She wasn’t alone; beside her was another filly who looked somewhat like her, though slightly bigger. This filly had a silvery-blue coat and shared the same violet-blue color in her eyes, mane, and tail. The two fillies settled down together. 

 

“So, Brightspark, are you ready to start this thing?” she asked her.

 

Brightspark, her twin sister, looked around. “I’m not so sure, Silvie, but this place sure looks fun. You said it would get me out of my mother’s castle, and somepony had to keep you out of trouble,” she replied, keeping one eye on her younger twin

As he finished handing @Nitobit Moonlight his number, Dynamo's ears perked at the sound of a familiar voice. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw two ponies flying in. One of the duo he didn't know, but the other he recognized immediately. "Silver!" He waved to his friend as he started making his way over. "I'm glad that you were able to make it. How are you doing? Are you here to take part in the race, or are we having two more friends joining us in this competition?" He asks, looking over towards the other pony that was next to Silver. "I also hope you can forgive me, but I don't think we've met before. My name is Dynamo Pad. It's nice to meet you."

**Brightspark:** Standing on all fours, she bowed her head. "Ah, Silver told me stories about you, sir. I apologize if my twin is difficult to handle, but I’m doing my best to help undo some of the mischief she has caused during her antics," she said, lowering her head.

‘If she interacts with me, I can try an experiment,.’ she thought...

she states, ‘I should have brought a high-speed camera,  then I could have observed what the Princess's fur looked like when she broke the sound barrier.’ 

And then Felis looked at @Dynamo Pad,
She States. ‘Hello Dynamo! What my number will be? May I give you a hug?’

"It's great to hear that you're both participating together! It's always great for siblings to have fun working together and/or having that friendly competition with each other. Let me get you your numbers and..." Dynamo was making his way back to the desk to get them their numbers, but stopped as a thought had occurred to him. Realization had slowly settled in, before turning back with his jaw dropping in awe and surprise. "Wait a minute...this is your sister!? I didn't know that you had a sister, Silver!" He exclaimed in surprise. He wasn't mad in any way, shape or form. He was honestly more surprised than anything. When Brightspark approached him, he was caught off guard as she bowed her head.

"Oh, no. It's okay and please don't apologize, Brightspark. Silver has honestly been a really good friend. I wouldn't say that her antics are acts of mischief. I'd say there more about trying to spice things up as she knows how to make things more lively from time to time. So, I can imagine you both are going to really enjoy the race. Also, there's no need to bow. I now understand that you both are twins, but a friend of Silver's is a friend of mine. Speaking of which, I'll get you some numbers." He smiled, grabbing a few numbers for Silver and Brightspark, before handing the numbers to the twins. "Here you go. Silver has number 73 and Brightspark has number 32. Good luck to you both and remember to have fun."

Upon pulling back from the hug, Dynamo had looked upon a new potential participant had made their presence known. "Hello! I don't know if we've met before. My name is Dynamo Pad, but you can call me Dynamo. It's really nice to meet you. Are you hoping to take part in The Running of the Leaves?" He asks, wanting to double check just in case so he can go grab a number for them.

*As her gaze drifted away from @Silverspark184's twin sister, Shiny noticed another of her friends. Once again, her eyes enlightened with excitment.*

"Felis!!!" *She yelled to @Felis Amafeles.* "It's so nice to see that you're going to be racing as well! We will be able to run together and knock some leaves! And don't you worry, I won't leaf anypony behind!"

By the time the Canterlot pegasus arrived to the race location, it was already heavily populated. Well, she couldn't expect to arrive too early, given the time she took to prepare. She'd put on her shiny new horseshoes prematurely, expecting this race to be a little rough for somepony who hadn't trotted long distances without flying.
After taking in the crowd, she spied a desk full of big paper number, trotting on over to get her own. There wasn't much chat to be had, as she didn't really know anypony here... Especially considering most were locals, She'd never been to this part of Equestria in the past. Once @Dynamo Pad was spotted, she waited her turn to ask:

"Hello, is this where I get my number for the race? I believe I've signed up already."

Despite having been here for 7 years, crowds still make me slightly nervous. I take a slow, deep breath. I am taller than probably all of them, as I am the height of Princess Celestia. I just look onward as friends greet friends. I don't really have anypony I know here, and I just officially met Dynamo and I also just met Slipstream. So I only really have acquaintances here, not really friends. I guess I still have my shyness. If it weren't for Pinkie having had me meet some of the other ponies around Ponyville, I might only just know the Elements of Harmony and the other royalty throughout the world, as I do go to the Princess summits.

Mine are more distreet, since I'm not the one who is deciding when I can use them. The Moon is blessing me with it's powers when it sees fit! However, 95% of the time I'm just a regular unicorn! Anyway, I'm Shiny Silvermoon! It's nice to meet you!" *The unicorn said to the tall alicorn, as she extanded an hoof for her to shake.*

As Dynamo took in the sight of the growing crowd of racers and spectators, he had noticed a pegasus flying towards their location. Once she landed, he noticed that she was making her way over towards the sign up desk. Seeing that it looked like she was hoping to compete, the gaming unicorn made his way over towards her. "Hello and eeyup it is. I'm the pony handing out numbers for racers that wish to participate. I do have a list of names written down from mailed in sign ups." He explained, levitating a parchment and quill to check off any names that got their numbers. "I hope you don't mind me asking for your name as I don't think we've met before. My name is Dynamo Pad, but you can call me Dynamo. It's nice to meet you." He introduced himself with a friendly smile, before waving to Shiny as she mad her way over towards the duo.

"Good morning, Shiny Silvermoon." I take her hoof and shake it. "It's nice to meet you, too. So... you must be in Princess Luna's favor, if the moon gave you powers."
