My opinion is that Super Smash Bros. is a pathetic waste of cyber data.

This. All of my this. As an all-around Nintendo gamer, I am glad to play all of their franchises. So many games, so many genres and gameplay differences, so many different experiences, so many perspectives and memories. As a game company I find that they always rise above the ranks in achieving quality with their never-ending list of legendary franchises.

 

Kirby, Mario, Metroid, Smash Bros., Zelda, Pokémon, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, and beyond.

 

But, if I had to choose one, just one single game that differentiates itself from the rest, a game that has captured the hearts and lives of so many dedidcated and passionate gamers, and has risen above all in terms of quality and success, it would have to be this one.

 

 

Please, everypony, as a fellow gamer among us, let us not fight over which one is the very best, for only one can render all of this debating useless.

If we're talking games that were simply released for Nintendo systems, I would have to say Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger, the Castlevania games for the DS, Super Metroid, and Secret of Evermore (I'm a Squaresoft lover, what can I say), in that order.

 

If we're talking Nintendo published, I'm going to go with Ocarina of Time. Logged a lot of hours into that one.

I'd say Super Metroid, Zelda OoT & MM, and Super Mario Sunshine are on the top of my list.

Star Fox seems to be lacking some love here, but I personally don't like the series that much lol

 

General consensus and sales always place Mario on top though...

My favourite of all of Nintendo's games has to be Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for its improvement upon the battle system in place in the original game, and the improvement of the character's personality. Mario's party members certainly have a lot more life to them compared to their N64 counterparts. The whole game was downright amazing.

Why is everypony asking me such hard questions?

 

I love quite a few of Nintendo's series (in no particular order):

Zelda, Mario, Metroid, Super Smash Bros, Advanced Wars and Pokemon

 

So it's hard for me to say which series is my favourite, never mind which game.

 

When I have some more time to post here, I'll go into more detail. But for now I'm going to say the original Super Smash Bros. is my favourite Nintendo game.
