"To disguise something bigger, to distract somepony into thinking it's something else. Like us, but something feels off." Carrick sat down and got a closer look at this 'MP Jammer.' Ice Star must have some money to afford something like this. "Why leave it right in the room? Like we're they knew that we were going to find it. Anypony could of hidden it better, but here it's...a calling card. Telling us to go find Ice Star." Carrick felt like he was hunting down a serial killer. In some ways he was, but this one...felt more ambitious. He had more money than most serial killers. Carrick got up, "We better search the room. Maybe this is a trap, but we can't take the risk if it isn't."

Midnight followed right behind Hypno, taking a deep breath. A small group of his troops also followed him. He wondered who the rest of Hypno's group was, seeing he had agreed to supply them with a decent army.

 

Shadow, Fire, Clocks, and Zig-Zag followed after. Shadow was glad to be off that train.

 

Hypno, in his twisted mood, admired the scenery of the town with a rather eerie looking smirk on his face.

Daeva arrived to Sugarcube Corner and saw nopony whatsoever. After a little while she noticed that there were hoofsteps on the second floor so she decided to head up to see who it was. She could feel this uncomfortable feeling as she approached the room where the jammer was. She peeked through the door to see who was inside and noticed that Carrick and Blaze were inspecting a metal box that was giving off something that was very distracting.

 

((OOC: Can I feel MP waves? If I am correct, I should be able to.))

Starbolt followed them up the stairs. She was getting an increasing headache the closer she got to the room. "Uhh...." She mumbled as she stayed at the doorway, unable to enter.

 

Sapphire exited the train and followed Hypno into Ponyville.

Fae trailed behind Sapphire.

 

Night Blade approached Ponyville, his objective clear.

Hypno walked towards the town, trying to sniff out Carrick or Starbolt. He picked up their sent and started to follow it to Sugarcube Corner.

Clocks looked around the town bored, unsure of what they were even doing at this place. It didn't seem right for a battle or anything of the sort.

Quickly switched his vision and jumped, clutching his eyes and moaning. In the room, Lyth rolled her eyes, sticking her head out the window, "This is thy punishment from the Eternal Night!" He shouted back, "That is not a Lunarian contraption and you know it!" He tumbled off the roof and through the window, around the priestess, unslinging his crossbow and pointing it, loaded, at the the jammer.

Daeva heard hoofsteps behind her, she quickly turned and saw Starbolt. She let out a sigh of relief knowing that it wasn't some scary assassin that was trying to kill her or Blaze. Starbolt didn't look so well, maybe from the metal box inside that room. She walked in and asked "Hey Blaze, what's with this metal box?".

"NO QUICKLY!" Blaze yelled " DO NOT SHOOT THE BOX. We have no idea what will happen, it could overload and explode. We need to sweep this room for evidence"

 

"Hey Blaze, what's with this metal box?" Daeva asked from behind him.

 

"Oh you are awake. Well, we do not know for sure what it is, but it seems to be an MP jammer of some sort. We are currently sweeping this place for evidence." Blaze said as he began searching the room.

 

((Your demon powers should allow you to feel MP waves just a little bit. But not as prevalent as me, and Quickly, or even Starbolt can))

"I don't like it," he mutters, "It hurts to much." He did loosen the string so it wasn't taught, however, and lowered it. His head was trying to get him to remember something similar, but he already had a headache, and it was patchy. A cave with a special kind of moss that, when massed together, could create large MP waves. Nopony had ever tried to eat it, but the headache was similar. He groaned.

 

Lyth was looking around, and offhandedly asked Blaze, "How well do you know our faith, the faith of those who follow Luna?" She wasn't seeing anything, but that didn't neccassarily mean it wasn't there. She prayed softly to Luna, to help her find whatever they were looking for.

Hypno followed the scent until he arrived at Sugarcube corner. He looked over to Shadow for a second "Go see if they are in there for me." He said with a slight tone of curiosity.

"Aye aye, captain" Shadow replied with fake enthusiasm and a roll of his eyes. He walked inside, his inverted eyes allowing him to see in the dark and began to explore the place for ponies. He could feel something off set in the air.

Quickly smelled the air and narrowed his eyes, "Vampire. I can just feel it in the air, over the jammer. One of them has entered the building. Other than Hypno, I have never known a vampire to travel alone, but it's probably not quickly. I don't feel as strong of black-magic coming from down there as I think I would. There's some more outside, too," he announced.

Blaze continued sweeping the area when Lyth asked him something

"Hmm? Well I have read lots of books on the subject, and I studied it in College. But don't take me for a pony of faith, however I do believe in the afterlife. In fact, I have personally seen the shores of purgatory" Blaze said as he continued with his work.

She nods, but says, "In our faith, we believe that pergatory is different for everypony. Things that were relevant and important in one's life often wash up on it's metaphorical shores. All though, I assume yours were physical; your father was a pirate, and so the sea must be important to you. You're father... he wasn't a bad colt. As Quickly remembers him, he was a very admirable pony. As Luna remembers him, he was a pony in search of something. I believe Quickly's pergatory will be in a cave. I do not know if he will like it." Quickly looks her way, but she wasn't looking at him. He had a really bad feeling about what his pergatory was based on.

Shadow walked up stairs slowly, his ears picking up the conversation between Blaze and Lyth. He walked into the room with a slightly entertained grin. "Do what you want because a pirate is free, you are a pirate. Yarr Harr fiddle de dee, being a pirate is alright with me. Do what you want because a pirate is free, you are a pirate." He said under his breath with a slight giggle.

Quickly approached the vampire cautiously, putting himself between him and the rest of the party, "State your buisness. None of the ponies here are edible, vampire," he adds. He watches him cautiously, although his crossbow isn't ready to fire. "Are you with Hypno?"

"On the contrary, most of them actually are quite edible for me. But most of you also probably taste disgusting for me..." He sighed. "But to answer your question, yes. I am indeed with Hypno, and by my guess, you are his little group that we are here to find" He said with a look of boredom Edited October 3, 2012 by Hypno

He relaxxed, "It really depends. My blood is salted so that I won't turn if you bit me. They're all... how do you describe them... fresh?" He put his crossbow away and looked to Carrick for instruction. Continue searching for something, or go greet Hypno, and maybe grab Lyth a cookie.

"Yes, i've noticed, i can practically smell it on you actually... You smell horrid..." He said as he looked over to Carrick and Blaze with a slight grin. "Uou let a vampire into a group of regular ponies?" He asked Quickly "What an idiotic risk...?"

 

Hypno and the rest walked in after a few second. Fire examined the room with a look of a foal in a candy store. "Whoaaaaahhhh" He muttered out with a laugh

Quickly shrugged, "Hard times and such. We need you to defeat our enemies. Besides, you're not all bad. You got a little something, on you lip," he adds. Then he sniffs himself, "Is it really that bad? My parents always told me I was double-dipped..." He sighs, another reason he wasn't atractive to males.

"My lip?" He said with a raise of his brow. "If that's a rise to try to kiss me and i'll rip your head off though..." He said as he licked around his lips with a blue colored tongue.

 

Hypno looked around the house, unsure of where to go in the house. Midnight looked around the house next, wondering why they were here.

Blaze looked up at the vampire that entered and sighed. "This is an ongoing investigation, so lets just let anypony waltz into the place we are scouring for evidence, that sounds like a great idea" Blaze said sarcastically. And then Hypno entered the room

 

"HYPNO?!" Blaze exclaimed, "You made it! Welcome back to the group" It had been a while since he had seen that vampony, and it looked like he brought friends with him. A creepy pony, a mare, and a red colt. "Looks like you brought the calvary with you" Blaze said

"Ah, that was more Midnight's job than mine." Hypno said with a chuckle.

After everypony had entered he did a head check of who he brought with him. "Clocks, Fire, Midnight and his army, Shadow, and last but not least, mare i found trying to rob my house" He said more to himself.

Blaze had already met clocks but the others were strangers.

 

"Well nice to meet all of you, I don't know if this is okay to ask, but are all of you ponies vamponies?" Blaze asked curiously "I am not racist or anything, but it is always important to know who associating yourself with"

"Na, I dig guys, but you bite," he says, winking. Mare who robbed my house? What the heck? Who brings the mare who robs your house along? "Uhh, Hypno, you feeling alright? 'Cause a mare who tries to steal from you... isn't exactly the pony I'd want guarding my back. I've been wrong before, but..."

 

Lyth just shrugs, "Quickly, your no saint. Let her be, under the Eternal Night, all who believe can be forgiven through hard work. As you have figured out." Quickly blushes under the scolding, but his point still stood.

Midnight and Zig-Zag shook their heads, Zag-Zag doing so nervously. while Shadow and Fire nodded at the question.

Hypno looked around room "So why are you guys... at a sweet shop?" He asked with a confused look on his face. He then turned to Quick "Eh, yeah, i'm fine. And she isn't a fighter or someone who will be guarding my back anytime soon. I just pity her since she explained herself as homeless, and i am practically taking her prisoner."
