It seems like Scootaloo is such an un appreciated character by the creators of the show. I mean seriously, no sister, no episode made just for her, and not rainbows pet (lol ) I feel like she really deserves to have an episode all to herself, it is only right.

Scootaloo certainly is one of the more underdeveloped characters of the series. Currently, it seems as though her only major role in the series is to help establish the whole 'troublesome trio' plot device, and on occasion act as a supporting role during Rainbow Dash episodes.

 

On the other hand, this means that there's plenty of potential for her persona to be expanded upon. Seeing as Scootaloo is hardly a forgettable character (just look at how quickly the chicken sub-meme caught on!), and the remaining CMC's have both had their own in-depth episodes, I'd say it's only a matter of time until we learn a bit more about either Scootaloo's relatives, past, or perhaps even other hobbies aside from finding her cutie mark and obsessing over Rainbow Dash.

 

I know I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of her.

Scootaloo is.... good at least. To me, she doesn't have so much of a different personality. I always think of Rainbow Dash when I see her. I know that RD is Scootaloo's Idol, but they made her too similar. But she is the wildest one, and not my most hated CMC.

 

...But I do agree that she is under appreciated.

I was just thinking this when I last watched the CMChronicles. Scoot is my favorite CMC and it would be great to learn about background information surrounding her family and story behind her admiration for RD. She is definitely the most daring out of the 3 CMC's and it would be cool to have an episode where she has to overcome a challenge or prove something to RD since she seems to be very capable.

Scoot obsessing on Rainbow Dash is no different then RD obsessing on the Thunderbolts. Kids and Ponies need their sports heroes, after all. I do hope Scootaloo gets a feature episode. I love the obsessive filly!.
