~ Sketchy Practice! ~

Okay, I've been thinking about doing this for a while now, but never wanted to bite off anymore than I could chew. Indeed, episode four. ^^ So I'm taking on a few art requests.

Details!

I'll draw any pony you want me to, or an OC so long as you have a reference for me to work with. (so, if OC, spam ALL the links! XD)

- Anything too saucy might be rejected, but a romantic-like pic is cool.

- I'll likely refuse gore, so please, don't ask. Small to mild injuries might be considered...

- Two ponies in a pic limit. For now.

As things are, I'm simply going to do a cleaned sketch and color it. But, if something ends up being way past cool, I'll probably find time to vector it up later. Also the first three ponies to ask are the first three ponies' requests that I'll do. I may do more of afterwards, but that all depends on various factors. So, if you guys have any thing you want to see drawn, post a reply and lemme know!

All right, request numero uno, complete! This was tougher than I'd thought it'd be... possibly due to my outlining job, but I'm still developing my own style, so bare with me.

Hope you like it! ^^

Edit: As it was once said in Dragon Ball Z Abridged: "I am become error..." I derped, so I made a SLIGHT edit to his body to not make it look awkward. My bad! ^^||

Oh yeah, that was also a toughie. I'm glad you do. The cutie mark in his reference pic basically screamed at me I had to go somewhere along those lines if I was doing a portrait-type-thingy.

Quite sorry for how long this took. I had tried going in order, but complications came up on request two, so I figured I'd save it for last. >< Meaning, congratulations number thee! You're the new number two! lol

 

Anyhow, here you are! ^^

 

First off, I took a few liberties with the colors, as well as the mane style of your OC. In this style, mimicking the shows colors too much didn't look good... so I improvised a bit on the outlines and kept them mostly uniform. Also, I figured you didn't want to be a Fleur de Lis clone, so I made a few minor tweaks.

 

This got a lot of touching up done to it seeing as how it was really hard for me to leave it in pure sketch. I also went through QUITE a bit of recolors on it... XD I grew much too fond of this piece, and it's INCREDIBLY likely I'm going to vector it later and possibly add a different background. So I'll send you that as well whenever I get to it.

 

So, what do you think?
