Basically the Failed States Index is a list made by people smarter than me, based on a ton of factors which I can pretend to comprehend, and they assign a number value to each country. Like golf, the higher your rank and higher your score, the more screwed you are. The maximum score is 120 (10 for each category), and that basically means your country fails utterly and absolutely in every conceivable aspect and is a total cesspool of shit and would be an accurate representation of hell on Earth.

 

Most Western countries are on the bottom or around there, most of Africa is on top. It also seems both Iraq and Afghanistan are among the top 10 in overall score, I wonder why that is? Also Yemen is 8th and Pakistan is 13th. You'd think with all the "aid" money the US and NATO sends they would be in better shape!

I never in a million years and a mind free of distractions would have thought Somalia was a poor place to live.

My college professor told me their land was made out of chocolate and Valkyries bring them oil tankers full of gold and ginger snaps ever afternoon.

Of course my college professor was dismissed after they found all the empty heroin needles in his work locker.

Go Australia! Woo! More Sustainable than the US and the UK... And many other countries! But not Canada or New Zealand... or just a few others... Oh Well, not the best, but not bad at all!!

And I wouldn't mind living in the US... I guess I could add to the chronic and sustained human flight...

My country? A Failed State? Excuse me while I go laugh my ass off.

 

Sure we've got the problems of terrorism but I can't say we're a failed state. Not ever.

 

P.S: I'm pretty sure all the Aid is used for the president's leisure.
