Juggler 345 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 No, never. The only thing that I feel sometimes is that I trust someone with a higher level badge more than one with a lower one. Akemi Homura 7,680 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 Seeing as how I'm a prominent member myself, I'm not exactly intimidated by anyone here - that being said, I know mostly all of the high-ranking users. They're good folk, with strengths and weaknesses just like the rest of us, and I'm no exception. That being said, I'm still scared of Klopp and Zoop
Ol' Sarge 885 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 ...well maybe the parasprites scare me, there's just so many of them! Shiki 5,855 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 On the other pony forum I go on, holy cow, do the "badges" they have on there scare me. The people who are higher up are all like "im big n' tuff", too. They also have "badges" (they call them pips) for things like artists, roleplayers, donors, staff, admins, etc. The badges on here don't feel threatening whatsoever. This forum and its people isn't scary at all. I love this forum, lulz. 1 You'll be entranced by me ♥
HomuraBL 851 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 Intimidated isn't the right word. It was more like I didn't like how people who were here way less then me, (by several months), were already at the phoenix and Pony badge. Though, now that I know rps counted, it doesn't affect me anymore.
FedoraMemes 582 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 When I joined, we didn't have badges! No, not really. I mean, when I do see the mod's badges, I do think that they are more powerful because they hold that badge, but I've never been intimidated by them. After all, they are normal people. Cupcake Ice Cream 436 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 not particularly. And I don't mean this next sentence in a derogatory way. But a higher badge doesn't make one infallible or automatically right. If I had the highest badge possible I could still be full of hot air. Frankly I don't even pay attention to them. All are equal until actions prove you are unequal
Aureity 3,055 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 All the badges are a bit of pixels that represent how many times a person has posted. They do not reflect quality of posts, intellect, or any sort of superiority whatsoever. They're there just to be a fun little addition below a poster's avatar to represent the person's post count, and don't actually mean anything. That being said, brony badges still freak me out. 3 A lil' Catherine <(^.^)>
Nouth 496 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 Not really. The only badge I care about is Royal Guard/alicorn which makes me feel a little tiny more respect towards them. Others are just measure of how active the user is :3. Splendid siggy by Chaotic Dischord, awesome avatar by Suntouched Coco!Ask me anything you want ! Mr. Jaguar 1,403 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 (edited) Because I am totally fucking terrifying. BOO. You almost gave me a heart attack there. But anyway, I've never felt intimidated by anyone on this forum, that includes the moderators, and I like it that way. Nightfall 3,950 July 22, 2012 Author Share July 22, 2012 Because of the ranks alone, I actually was slightly intimidated when I joined. But then I got to know all you high ranking people, and well, you're all cool. I'm not intimidated anymore. I am, however, still a bit scared of Feld0... Just a bit. Zoop 8,384 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 Mods were just mods, those really scary people that no one likes They also have "badges" (they call them pips) for things like artists, roleplayers, donors, staff, admins, etc. Honestly, that is one thing I never want to see here. The staff badges are important because they let you know who is responsible for keeping things in order, but I always have to roll my eyes a bit when I see a forum that gives special accolades for being an artist, writer, roleplayer, or what not. I've just never been able to see the point. As for myself... I regret somewhat that I was already a staffer by the time that the badges were added to the forum. All I ever had was the bland old 'Advanced Member' title that pops in when you hit thirty posts. http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png But more to the point of the topic, no - I tend not to worry too much about the badges that people have here. People are people, regardless of which critter they have hanging out beneath their avatar. ... though I'll admit that it might be slightly easier for me to say that considering which one I've got, myself.
Haven Celestii 9,385 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 I actually stopped breathing for a second getting this notification... Don't be sad, thats my first opinion of all mods. Been here long enough to see that you guys are awesome though! Though, you, Swoop, and Feld0 still have the power to scare me since you're admins/owner.
MVC NVMXD JVRXD 2,406 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 Nah. I remember when I wasn't a unicorn, and I was never scared by any higher ranker poster. CaptainAsh98 20 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 When I was first here I was, then I realised that the mods were nice and are one of us, like you and me. although I do get nervous if I talk to a mod as I want to make a good first impression. KPM 288 July 22, 2012 Share July 22, 2012 I have a strong belief that those with the fancy badges wonder why isn't mine higher than it is. I do respect them and all, like everyone else. I treat them just like the low-badgers (BADGERS).

Pinkie D Pie 1,036 July 23, 2012 Share July 23, 2012 Well when I first joined and I didn't know about badges no, then when I found out about them, I was more or less a little intimidated when I would see say a mod or someone post. Not really anymore though, I now just see them as users of the forums... My OC's Shadow Stalker/Aarod Brachuin/Dark Chocolate/Cocoa
