All of the Star Wars fans out there let me know, what's your favorite movie in the Star Wars saga. (in honor of Celebration VI coming up soon) Mine is Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, because it's the most emotional, funniest, great character development, with one of the biggest spoilers of all time.

Yeah, I'll go with you on V, with IV a close 2nd. Don't ask me about VI though.

The thing that killed VI for me was the Ewoks, almost as annoying as Jar Jar. almost....

I'm gonna be a youngster and say that I enjoyed 1 2 and 3 more than 4, 5 and 6. Three was the best. Epic fight scenes were epic. Ugh, Yoda VS Sidious was something I had been waiting to see for a while, and it didn't disappoint. Dat music.

The 'first' ones weren't bad or anything, but I guess my love for the advanced technology that makes things more action-packed then what they were able to accomplish in the older movies, persuades me.

Episode III had some cool moments (Yoda vs. Sidious, Anakin vs Obi-Wan, and Order 66) I'm just more fond of the last 3 personally.

that wasn't so bad I mean for a primitive species on Endor I didn't expect much at the end. what was cool was seeing Force Ghost Yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin (original Anakin not Prequel Anakin)

I'm sorry, the Ewoks caused a WTF moment the first time I saw them. I must admit that Jar Jar was painful as well.

Best scene from III was when they fired up Darth Vader.

Coming from a person whose childhood consisted of wearing out two different VHS tapes of Star Wars Episode IV, and nearly killing another tape of Episode V I can safely say that Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back is my favourite Star Wars film.

The Battle for Hoth was... breathtaking. I keep getting chills, just thinking about how awesome it was. The AT-ATs looked ferocious, fantastic, and awe-inspiring. I love nothing more than a wintery planet and a classic battle around defending Echo Base and the all-important shield generator. The asteroid scene was also a hugely memorable moment, as was the entire movie, ugh! I really have the urge to put the film on now.

All and all, Empire Strikes Back is my favourite of 'em all. The Battle of Hoth being a high-point in the film for me, it was amazing.

I can't wait for Celebration VI

As for the movies I totally agree V was the best. It had the classic battle scene on Hoth, It had humor, it had a duel with Vader, it was fantastic. IV is probably my second favorite and my least favorite would probably be Ep. 1 :)

The Hoth battle was spectacular! that's one of the moments I wanna see on the big screen. I love the staging for it. and it really puts the fact that it's a war in perspective and it really shows the power of the Empire. A memorable moment for me was Luke and Vader's duel on Bespin and how Luke almost gets frozen but escapes at the last second. And Han's "I know" after Leia tells him she loves him is classic.

I completely agree with you. Episode 1 sucks and V was the best! and you're going to Celebration? AWESOME!

The one with the ending that was referenced in MLP. I think it was A New Hope, or something?

Anyways, not much of a Star Wars guy myself, it's a franchise I want to get into badly, one of the best of all time, too.

As one who is old enough to have seen the Hoth Battle on the big screen, I can tell you it was spectacular to see!

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, it's a bit difficult to choose from the original trilogy but anything from that era is still better than anything from the prequels.

Return Of the Jedi.

I just love the last fight between Darth Vader and Luke, it looks so organic, and full of emotions, unlike the Darth Maul fight, which looked too staged.

Original 3: Empire Strikes Back

New 3: Clone Wars

All Time: Empire Strikes Back

The 3rd one, or sixth depending on your point of view, was good but only existed, in my opinion, was to show why Anakin did what he did.

episode one. Why?

The final fight was the best of the series... and Maul was awesome (I haven't seen him in Clone Wars, is he good?)

hey ruined him in the Clone Wars. they gave him these pathetic bug like legs and he totally lost his mind. at least give the guy some dignity!

It's hard to say, the last half of Episode III was epic, but I'm more for the original trilogy. All the scenes were amazing. As for my absolute favorite, it has to be Episode IV. It's the quintessential classic episode that Lucas had wanted to do, simple, but satisfying.

Aww, now that's just ashame

Maul was a cut above the rest

But now he is just half the man he once was

But I'll cut him some slack, no guts no glory

though looking around, it seems to actually be based on one of the Star Wars comics

I enjoyed episode II and III more than any of the others. The Clone Wars opened a great storyline, and Revenge of the Sith had epic fight scenes. The tension between Anakin and Obi Wan was awesome.

Bowties ARE cool.
