lets play Megaman 8-Perfect Robot Master Boss Run

Once upon a time, I loved Megaman 8, and still enjoy it, as it was one of the cornerstone games I loved on the PS1 (OMG SO OLD) back when I was a little kid. A few months back I made this video after obtaining the game as a rom on my laptop. I always loved the bosses, I thought they were fun, I loved the music, and they were just awesome and unique from each other. They were definitely one of the highlights of the game for me. So, I recorded a no-hit run of all eight of them. Enjoy ^^ And if you've ever played this game too, shout it out~

i used to play this game all the time...i was never good at it though, i never even beat any of the robot masters

Thanks. I really don't find the point in using any of the learned abilities, honestly. Especially the weaknesses. It just makes it far too easy. Blaster and nothin' else for bosses, yo.

Hm, I wouldn't know, the collection was multiplatform too I believe.

Hmmm, maybe a bit, but in reality these bosses aren't too hard ^^ Once you get their patterns of attack it's just a matter of having good reflexes. But thanks for the compliment <3

Not only is it amazing you did this with no hits, but the fact that you were using an emulator (meaning A KEYBOARD FOR MEGAMAN) is mind-blowing, bro! The quality of the video is quite fantastic, as well -- do you mind my asking what program you used to record it?

 

I hope you have plans in the near future to do something along the lines of hard-yet-optional challenges, i.e. the infamous Nuzlocke challenge. (Basically what you've already done -- just make a game harder by adding your own rules.)

Well, actually, I didn't use a keyboard. I used a plug-in controller xD The day I use a keyboard to game is the day I stop creative writing...I hate using a keyboard .w.

 

And the program is known as Camtasia. You get a nice period of free use then you have to buy it. I never bought it, so I don't have it anymore. But it certainly was the greatest video editing and screen capturing software I ever used.

Pretty awesome dude, I actually played through this game a little while back. I played the game back when I was quite young, I think around 10 years old. I still hate frost man's level, stupid snowboard sequence.

Yeah, Forstman's level can bite my flank. I hate it. Always detest having to do it. The final level has another boarding sequence and it's even worse </3 FML.

I always liked Megaman, I was just real bad at the games. I enjoyed playing the Battle network and Star Force games.

I played it and when we get to wily stage 1, it was a nightmare to get to the end without dieing... JUMP JUMP, SLIDE SLIDE taunted me even my brother wouldn't be able to beat it without my help sometimes.

Meh, 8's okay. I like the boss designs, but not the graphic style. Now 8-Bit MM8 is a game I'd play.

3 is best tho.

And if anyone says "the original ones were too hard", you suck.

Yup, I generally don't even bother with the Wily Stage xD I beat it once just to say I beat the game, but it's really the eight areas and bosses before then that I'm interested in.
