• "Yo mama" jokes are not funny, overused, and pretty stupid in my opinion.
• Corporal punishment, but not abuse, is okay with me.
• All governments are terrible in their own ways, but still necessary for a civilized, functioning society.
• Fuck political correctness and fuck SJWs.
• Mainstream sources of news are not very reliable.
• "tasteless jokes", such as dark and/or politically incorrect jokes, can be really funny.
• If you are extremely sensitive and can't take jokes, opinions, words, and more you don't like without being offended and throwing a tantrum over it, you should just minimize/cut contact with all people. It would be better for all of us.
• Most lies, even white lies, are wrong. Unless you are going to be persecuted for being honest about who you are, I don't see a reason to lie. A lot of the times lying can lead to even bigger consequences than being honest.

I don't like Fluttershy. I don't dislike her but I don't like her either and she's far away from anyone in the Mane 6 in my rankings (including Spike)

Sonic the Hedgehog is actually a pretty decent franchise(especially the AU/EU stuff like the cartoons and comics) that's just brought down by having a very vocal and somewhat large fandumb.

• Pokémon Generation 1 was the worst generation. (Not saying it was bad; just saying it's inferior compared to superior generations such as 5, 4, 6, 3, 2... uh, yeah, all of them)

-Symbolism in a book/show/movie is there to enrich the work for those who already enjoy it. They won't improve the work for those who don't possess either an intellectual interest or some kind of emotional attachment to it, and it isn't fair to call them idiots because they didn't "get" it. *coughEvangelionFanscough*

 

-On the flip side, not understanding the symbols in a work doesn't render them meaningless, nor are fans deluded for thinking they have depth. *coughEvangelionHaterscough*

 

-George Lucas is a very interesting filmmaker, and that didn't change with his Star Wars prequel trilogy. What his detractors view as bad direction, I view as an eccentric style that just doesn't jibe with popular sensibilities (i.e. it lacks "edginess" or hip self-awareness).

 

-Endless Eight is my favorite part of the Haruhi Suzumiya series. Even if I didn't find it compelling as an evocation of ennui, I'd still admire it for its sheer boldness. Taking everything about it into account, I think few would dispute that it's one of the most insane things to ever be put on television.

 

-The Marvel Cinematic Universe is about as dull as big-budget filmmaking gets.

I don't listen to music. I don't give two shits for artists such as Nicki Minaj or Justin Bieber or whatever that rapper's name is. It's hurtful to my ears, and I far prefer classical music.

 

I don't like the Hunger Games trilogy.

 

MLP is a show for little girls, and bronies are the unexpected audience. Nothing more complicated than that.

 

I don't like it when people assume that someone dislikes a character because they misunderstand their deep, metaphorical symbolic personality. It could be possible that—y'know—they do understand the character and dislike them for it...

 

Braggarts annoy me less than people who criticize themselves for everything.

 

I prefer the cast of the first Danganronpa over the second. The plot of the second is better, without a doubt, but the characters are far less interesting.

 

I believe students and teachers alike should be treated with the same respect. I don't really understand why the whole "Mr." and "Mrs." thing came to light anyway...

This makes a lot of sense because somebody I live with has exactly this issue, and I get uncomfortable whenever she constantly thinks pessimistically about herself. It's also the reason why I have trouble connecting to Fluttershy, but I think that will change overtime.

This has bothered me too. I really, really cannot stand the superiority complex of authority figures. Not all schools are like that though. The private school I went to encourages you to call teachers by their first name.

• Fanservice will be the end of this fandom. The writers started to focus too much on giving fans what they want and the apperances of background ponies became extremely forced. They distract people from the actual plot and often just make no sense. Rainbow Falls is a good example here. I wouldn't mind that much if the background ponies were applied subtly, but we're slowly getting to the point when they start to be the main attraction in some episodes. It's like writers just throw them into the episodes if they have no idea what else they could do to improve the plot.

That said, I'm completely NOT interested in 100th episode.

I don't find Fluffle Puff adorable or charming. I find her a one-joke character who's married to Crysillis for no reason.

 

I think every gamer, whether PC or console should just enjoy what they like and not bring anyone down for liking consoles or games they don't.

 

I would do the typical "Call of Duty sucks) post but it's not really unpopular to hate it. 

 

That being said, I don't care for FPS games at all. I'm not very good at them and their controls are really confusing to me.

 

People need to understand that just because you say "it's my/their opinion," whenever someone gets criticism is not a justification for every hate comment they get. People can spew bull crap when stating their reasons for hating something that people can call them out on,.

 

However, there are still cases where people will hate someone just because they hate something they like. It's not like they even give proper criticism, they just hate them for not liking it.

The Sega CD was actually a decent con- er, add-on. It did have a lot of crappy FMV games, but then it had actually had some great games like Sonic CD, Lunar, Snatcher, the port of Final Fight and quite a few others.

 

PC fanboys can be equally as annoying as Console fanboys. 

 

People don't need to go crazy over Ebola.

 

I like Bacon, but I prefer Sausage.

 

I'm not really a fan of emulators and I'll only use them only circumstances. Otherwise.. honestly, I don't really get the same "feel" as I do when I'm playing on an actual system. Plus, most cd-based system emulators are kind of laggy for me.
