I keep seeing references to "the" royal baby.  It annoys me that the people making these references don't say what royal baby.  I would imagine that quite a few royal babies are born every year.  I don't know what royalty is having a baby, or why anyone should care about this specific birth over all of the other royal births that nobody mentions.

I personally think that Communists should be the leading political point in the world. Their views are all good, and I do not complain with any of them.

Unfortunately if we look at history, most or all communist governments have been lead by corrupt leaders and there are multiple communist governments that absolutely failed to run properly or committed crimes against its own people.Examples being:

 

-Stalin's Great Purge

-Mao's Great Leap Forward

-Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge

 

The ultimate goal of communism is to have a country run by its people with the government diminished. But in history, it has really been the opposite; communist leaders were hypocrites.

 

Even if the leaders weren't corrupt, running a successful communist government would be extremely difficult because you need sufficient amount of resources for everyone. Communism relies on idea conditions and the world is far from ideal.

 

Even if conditions were ideal and there were sufficient resources for everyone, communism fails to motivate people to work. If everyone was paid the same amount, why should someone become a doctor if they could be getting the same amount of money doing a much simpler job such as a janitor? The big emphasis on equality makes people lazy because they don't receive any incentives. When Lenin's communist party introduced the New Economic Policy, the Soviet economy improved because people got more money for working harder (though the communist party ultimately didn't like the policy due to its right-winged nature).

 

South Korea and North Korea clearly shows the success of capitalism and the failure of communism.

This already has been stated in one of my previous posts, but I'm going to be more specific. For me, the definition of the worst person possible would be someone who is responsible for the greatest amount of destruction with as little contribution to society as possible.

 

Worst humans in history (my opinion to date):

 

#3-4: Adolf Hitler: Responsible for the death of approximately 6 000 000 Jews and 20 000 000(?) casualties in the European war. In my opinion, his racism is irrelevant. On a positive note, Nazi technology has proven to be quite useful to the rest of the world and WW2 ended the Great Depression.

 

#3?: Mao Zedong: Caused the death of about 40 000 000 to 70 000 00 Chinese people with the absolute failure of the Great Leap Forward. However, I'm not certain whether he should be ranked here because, from what I understand, he didn't INTENTIONALLY kill these people (or if he did it wouldn't be anywhere near those numbers); it was basically a great mistake. Nothing positive as far as I know.

 

#2: Iosif Stalin: Responsible for the death of over 50 000 000 people due to running the country poorly and paranoia. Also from what I know, Stalin's corrupt rule of the Soviet Union influenced all other communist leaders. In a way, he would be indirectly responsible for all deaths caused by other corrupt communist governments. On a positive note, he did advance Russian industries by about 70 years in a time span of about 10 years.

 

#1: Genghis Khan: Genghis Khan lead the Mongolian conquests for a time. The Mongols during the 13th and 14th century killed 30 000 000 to 70 000 000 people; this is comparable to the number of deaths in WW2. However, considering the fact that the world population was significantly smaller, the Mongolian conquests wiped out about 17.1% of the world's population whereas WW2 wiped out 1.7-3.1%. It should also be noted that .5% of the world's population are direct descendants of Genghis Khan. I have once heard that a Khan was responsible for the Black Death in Europe, but I'm not certain about the legitimacy of this information. Positives are unknown.

 

This is based on what I understand about these leaders; there's still much I have to learn. I have yet to do research on Genghis Khan in detail. Rankings are subject to change.

Playing a musical instrument is a lot harder than playing a sport.

- I think straight relationships are gross. (I have nothing against straight people, but seeing them together makes me a little sick for some reason.) (Except for the exceptions to that.)

- Babies are irritating. Royal babies, regular babies, any babies. (Except for baby animals.)

- Hamsteak - whoops, Homestuck - and it's fans are annoying, and it's getting really old.

- Professional sports players need to get real jobs. Along with that, most sports are boring.

- (This hopefully isn't that unpopular, but) Toddlers and Tiaras is disgusting and those parents need some serious help. Also along those lines, I don't care how 'funny' Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo is, that family is disgusting and gives Southerners a bad name.

- Having a relationship before you're 18 is stupid and will probably result in unnecessary drama. On a related note, getting overly upset about said drama is just as stupid as having a relationship in the first place. (You're like 16, get over it.)
