Now I'm totally confident Magenta is not a Mary Sue... she's too neurotic for that. She's probably inseparable from Klopp at this point--that is, if Klopp is okay with that!

Speaking of romancey stuff, I get even worse with the gushy icky vomit. Artsy and Jack, why must you drive me to write this?!

 

(Also, I made a reference to the stuff happening in the forest somewhere in my post. So it's not all romancegasms.)

I'm rather liking this dichotomy. Romance outside of the forest and complete and utter chaos inside of the forest. If this was a movie and it was flashing between the two scenes, then I think it would be a sequence worthy of an Oscar. (And yes, Numbers has completely short-circuited. Fun times!)

I also saw an opportunity as others have but I didn't want to be upfront about it so early on in order to stay in character. It depends on the character, I think. Some characters are spontaneous and naturally lend themselves to whirlwind changes. Extroverted characters can be like this. More introverted ones might be better off developing internally at first, then moving on to the other stuff. I've learned that a rounded-out cast of both types makes for a durable story that is resistant to RP Infant Death Syndrome.

I'll be honest guys, it's getting difficult for me, my injury isn't going to make posting in this RP easy. I mean tennis elbow in my left shoulder is no fun at all. And replies may be slowed and/or shortened for my own convenience of not being in terrible agonizing pain. Not really but it is difficult to post large slews of text ;_;

@, Take it easy my friend, nobody wants you to suffer agonizing pain while typing walls of text. Just do what you can, and that should be okay.

 

From experience, I can tell you that you need to make sure that you are getting plenty of rest for that arm. The RP will always be around the next day, but the 1st week after that kind of injury is always extremely important.

Oooh, I have an idea how this person might introduce themselves into the fray! I was thinking it might be a good idea to have the forest battle finished and the group back together at that point. A random pony suddenly dropping out of a portal in the sky would make for some nice plot development, not to mention the epic lulz it would bring!

@@Aureity Well you never know... things could change, especially when their moving along slowly as that's one of the advantages of it. I'm not setting anything in stone this early on, just have to see where the story goes.

 

On the subject of the elements, Considering my abilities I'm happy with not getting assigned an element and playing a support role instead. That is what a healer does after all.

 

@ You could try using speech recognition as i think that's what Scootacool uses for longer posts due to his wrist injury. I don't know how much of a hassle it would be but it's better then being in pain.
