they changed UK music forever, some people like to say they were the first boy band but i disagree they were not manufactured, wrote some of the best songs written and played various instruments, look at the olympics 30% of it was Beatles tunes

I think the Beatles really set the standard for making "perfect songs".  "Yesterday", "I am the Walrus", and "Eleanor Rigby" are perhaps the only perfect rock songs ever written.  Well, maybe they're not perfect, but they're damn close.  The Beatles can't even really be considered a normal band.  They were the Beatles.  They were a legend.

 

And yes, if they had been born fifty years later than they were they would be Bronies.

Seriously though, it's hard to deny that they're one of the most influential bands ever. I do love most of their songs and think that they are fantastic, but there are so many bands from the same era that I think are much better and that are sadly overlooked most of the time.

 

Also, George Harrison is best Beatles
